Call from 623-505-0022 relayed to me as call from windows. I have not called Windows. Internet says this is fradulent outfit trying to gain acces to one's compuyer files/

got a call 1/23/13 3:47PM from 623-505-0022 male with heavy (Indian?) accent said he was from "Windows Service" & "unknown to you your computer has downloaded" forget exact wording = something bad "from Internet..." & "turn on your computer so we can show you" NO WAY = I hung up.
1) my windows sys runs w98 & I doubt anybody really 'services' that, not even a very attractive target.
2) sys is behind router (effectively a hardware firewall, even cable co does not see sys.
3) has pretty good software ( Zone alarm - even if it is old ver. since old sys)
&
4) anybody wants to 'show me something' on my sys I better know before they get near it!
note: I really like 800notes.com, about the best site I have seen for checking info on unrecognized #s.

this number continuously calls me and does not leave a message or say anything when I answer the phone, they hang up.

Got a call. I sent it to voicemail. When I listened to the message I could hear a male voice in the background speaking to someone on the phone, being very rude. Sounded very harassing.
