I am on a do not call list, they keep calling, not sure who this is.

Your phone company will NOTtake action because they are making good money off this company's account.

Just called again with same number but NEW name Deerfield Assoc. No message

Suddenly started getting these calls. I've never answered and no message is left. Rodale makes sense, though, because I subscribe to Prevention. And they are persistent advertisers! I wonder if Dearfield is just a call center so it isn't actually spoofing. Damned annoying, though.

I have seen this number several times on my Caller ID.  Today they left a message saying they were my insurance company and left a 17 number reference number.  Why do we have to put up with these calls when we are on the "Do Not Call" list?  Thanks to all for your posts.

A couple of you who posted referred to a "D Field".  What does that mean?    I've gotten calls from them several times.  Caller ID says "Dearfield Assoc".  They call not only from this number but from a 480 area code.  Both are Arizona area codes.  I have no idea who Dearfield Assoc are.  I just block the numbers whenever I get a new one.  I find these calls a total nuisance.  What good is a federal No Call List when there are exceptions to every rule?

Caller ID said Dearfield Assoc and the phone number.  I've been getting calls from Dearfield Assoc for several weeks how....under many different phone numbers, all within Arizona but from a couple different area codes.  I just add them to my blocked calls list.  Don't know what else to do.

Caller ID says:  Dearfield Assoc and the number.  I also get calls from 602-246-8398 and 480-264-6988, both with the name Dearfield Assoc.  I don't know who they are.  I just add them to my blocked numbers.

Got a call from Dearfield Associates just now and decided to answer.  The young man asked for my husband, by name, and I told him to hang on, I'll get him!!  I then placed the phone on the table beside me and just let him hang on...until he hung up!  Keep these idiots TIED UP on the line!  Don't just not answer...TIE THEM UP and they eventually get the message--->calling this number is going to waste my time!  It's kind'a fun actually!!! :)

I keep getting calls from this number (623-581-0382) and no message is left.  The caller ID says "DEARFIELD ASSOC" but when I called back it was Rodale Books.  So it looks like Rodale Books is spoofing their CID and calling anyone even if they are on DO NOT CALL LIST.  When you call back you have to enter an account number to get anywhere.  But, since I have not done business with them since the 1970's when their unethical business practices led me to never do business with them again EVER, I obviously don't have a number.  Now I see that they haven't changed their unethical ways of doing business at all.

And if your only way to support your family was to call total strangers,  I'd be willing to bet you'd do it to to put food on the table.  Or maybe not, no wonder there's so many people on welfare!

whatever, go away.  It is a real job that helps support my family without any assistance so I'm good with that!  And I can take the mean annoying jerks, just like yourself, so cool.  Just trying to share some info to make the calls stop, but obviously ignorance is clouding your pea brain.  If taking out your aggravations for your sad life on mostly students and struggling single moms makes you feel better, go on about your petty business!

If you weren't "out to annoy us" you would get a REAL JOB. We don't call you!

Get used to the abuse. It's only going to get worse, everyone is sick of this crap. If you get yelled at or blasted with a whistle or an airhorn, maybe you'll figure it out. STOP CALLING STRANGERS.

You know, its simple really.  I am an employee of Dearfield, and if you at least PICK UP THE PHONE, and say, take me off your call list, we have to comply.  Avoiding the phone calls, or getting mad because no message is left, doesn't help.  We're instructed to not leave message on machines and not even if someone answers unless you do ask.  We are hardworking students, moms and dads and are not out to annoy you.  Just trying to do our jobs and make ends meet, so quit being so mean and just say take me off your list.  And if you can atleast be polite about it,, thank you.  You've just made another hard working American's day a little better!  Thank you!

I can't stand this number calling my home just about everyday! I use to have a BMG account and cancelled it. I don't owe them anything but their constantly calling to see if I want to go back. NO THANK YOU!!!

Also receive several calls per day from this number. We don't answer and just want them to stop.

Just got a call from these knuckleheads too.  I believe we talked to them two days ago too.  They must miss talking to us.

I keep getting this call on my cell phone.  Name D Field.  Don't know them and don't answer the call.

Started to get calls from this number every day for the last week.  Comes up on caller ID from "D. Field", which at first I thought was a private individual calling, very conniving of them, eh?  I am a former member of both BMG and more recently Columbia House, which is probably the reason why I'm being targeted.  Best thing based on above comments to do is to just ignore this caller.

This "person/machine" calls during the day/evening over and over and over without leaving any messages?????

Called over and over incessantly, my husband finally answered one of the calls to see wtf they wanted.  I have a BMG for cds  but do not owe any $.    They said had some special DVD offer that you HAD to take advantage of over the phone right then with a CC #.  How can you order a selection of DVDs over the phone???  Sounded kind of fishy and they did not want to mail something out.  He said no, and don't call anymore.  They waited a few weeks and now are calling again.  I think BMG sold names to third party list.  They are not BMG but are using that connection to people.  Columbia House is the same co. now with BMG I think they joined.

They call several times a day and don't leave a message.  Very ANNOYING!

I have received calls from this number several times a day and several days straight over the last few weeks.  I called them and it was BMG Columbia house in regards to a special offer.  They also give you the chance to have yourself removed from their call list, or to continue receiving their calls.

Gotten several calls from this # over the last week or so. I don't answer calls I don't know and they leave no message. We don't belong to BMG but we do have Columbia House. I will prob. answer next time and have them place us on their DNC list since the national DNC list doesn't seem to cover everyone. That may be the only way to have it stop.

I see this number on my caller id all the time but we never answer it, until today.  They asked for me and sounded like someone I should know, just used my first name and said "I'll call her later" when I stated that I wasn't home.  This is really irritating.  I am a member of BMG but maybe not for long if this keeps up.

BMG music calling to offer me a special deal. I didn't answer the phone but called back and was given the option for them to call me back and tell me about the deal, deny the deal but get calls for future offers or be removed from their calling list altogether.

EVERYONE!!!!  YOU ARE BEING FOOLED!!  I CALLED THIS NUMBER OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER AGAIN AND ALL I GET IS A RECORDING THAT SAY'S "THE MAILBOX BELONGING TO:: "MAIN LINE" IS FULL.  TO DISCONNECT PRESS 1, TO ENTER ANOTHER NUMBER PLEASE PRESS 2.  I CALLED, AND CALLED THE SAME NUMBER OVER AND OVER, IT'S BU***HIT!!!!!!
