Believe this to be Discover Card collection. Have rec'd numerous calls to my cell, at odd hours. They ask for a name I don't know. I have never had a Discover Card.

I recently purchased this cell number and have been recieving calls several times a day from this number. Don't have a clue what they want or who they are.

I'm tired of the continued calls day and night. I'm canceling my Discover card. I don't owe  them any money and will never use the card again.

LOL!  Don't even HAVE a Discover, and haven't for nearly 20 years.

Yet, call me they do...

There's an App.....    I think it's 9.99 (one time payment), and you can use it to direct numbers to a void or to a special voicemail that tells them to stop calling..  From what I understand, you can program as many numbers as you want, and set it up to purpose many different configurations.   I think I was searching for "Call Blocker" App, when I found it.  Just in case you come back and find this and read this...

Pay off your card and Close the Account!!!   They call because you're late on a payment, and they want to make you an interest/payment deal...  like drop your interest rate from 19.99% down to like 7.9% for 1 year...  so you can Pay It Off....

Got a new phone number last month. Last week they started calling me. Told them they have the wrong number. Keep calling me. Told them again they have the wrong number. Few days past, they call a few dozen more times, and I pick up again and say they have the wrong number. They just said they'll take me off the "call list", and every time I answered, they asked for a different person. Neither of the tames did they have my name right. I'm only 15, and other sites say it's Discover Card. They have called just over 100 times in the past week or so, and a couple days ago they called 6 times during class. I purposely would let it ring once or twice and send them to voicemail so they know I'm purposely ignoring them. They left a voicemail once, but it was 2 seconds of silence. Rest assured, if they ever call again, I'm calling the cops for harassment. I will be posting on here again with information on the police report if they call again. Called U.S. Cellular, and I have to pay 16 dollars or 3.50 a month to get the "do not disturb app". No way in hell am I buying that.

Is anyone else getting a creepy long demonic sounding message from them?

SHOWS DISCOVER FINANC ON CALLER ID. PROBABLY CALLING FOR ONE OF OUR MANY  EMPLOYEES OF OUR COMPANY. WHEN I ANSWER, NO ONE IS ON THE LINE, SO I JUST PUT THEM ON HOLD. IF THEY ARE NOT CONSIDERATED ENOUGH TO BE ON THE LINE WHEN I ANSWER, THEN THEY CAN LISTEN TO THE MUSIC WHEN THEY DO COME ON.

I just called the number which left me the extremely noisy message in my voice mail.  It said "Welcome to Discover Card"!

I got the same weird sounding call today.  It is scary!

We get calls several times daily - starting at about 8:20 AM, with the last call after 8 PM. There is no message, just Indistinguishable background noise that sounds like motor cycles revving up and screaming down the highway.  At first I thought it was kids pulling pranks, but *69 showed 623-643-2547.  It was a bit frightening at first, but now I just lift the receiver and put it back down.  Is anyone else getting this noise message?  Suggestions please.

Discover Financial calls five and six times a day at least. The calls I hate are at 8:00 AM. No message, just weird grinding, popping, growling, sounds with a low male voice undertones saying something. I had an account with Discover Card & told them what is going on with the calls. The Discover Card people said that this phone number & the Discover Financial is not connected to them at all. I canceled my account anyway, for fear that Discover Financial could get hold of my account number & go to town with it!
No one needs that kind of harassment. & live screening phone calls coming into their home.

I receive 6-8 calls daily from this number, even on Sunday, holidays, and up to 11 p.m. at night.  I answered several times and no one came on the line.  They NEVER leave a message for me to call them back and a fourth of the times when my machine picks up all we hear is a sound similiar to a motorcycle engine revving up. This has gone BEYOND ridiculous and is both frustrating AND annoying!

My bill is overdue, yes. But what I dont understand is when they call all they leave on the answering machine is a long garbled message that sounds like static and weird noises, like beeping and whirring, no voice whatsoever! What the hell is up with that?

I turned the tables on discover card. They called me 4-5 times a day. I started to call them back I called them up fifty times in one hour. I refused to give then info and kept calling back finally a supervisor came on and told me i was harrasing them. They said they are going to call the cops. I told them to quit calling me and i am not paying the bill. If they kept calling me iI would call them a hundred time an hour until they stopped. Guess what it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have not called me in three days. I have done this to 3 credit card companies and they stopped calling me.

They're calling me on my work number leaving a message for someone else because I don't even have a Discover card.

My payment comes out automatically and they still call me.

They are also calling me but my bill is paid. They are calling to "save me $48" on something. If you have a block call on your phone, block them.

This company starts calling at 8 a.m. and call me every two hours, despite the fact that they have tbeen told they wrong person.

Your calls have stop? That's nothing short of  a miracle. I don't have a Discover card, we closed it years ago. Then this year,they started to call and call.... and we told them to put us on the "DO NOT CALL" list. They say they will take our number out of their data base and guess what? THEY NEVER DO.  THEY CONTINUE TO CALL.  This has been going on for over 6 months. THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW.  We don't owe them any money.  They are trying to get us to sign up for a credit card.  We got another call today and last week received their credit card opportunity junk mail.  I hope they go out of business!!

I get about 5-6 calls a day. This number is listed to Discover Card. I'm wondering if I can file a class action suit against them for harrassment.  Because they are calling my cell phone while I'm at work.

Why wouldn't you just tell them how long you've had the number so they would stop calling.


I got a call. It's discover. I was late on my payment. Pay your bill and calls stop. Can't afford to pay your bill? Quit running up Credit Cards.
