I got a call this morning and I don't owe anyone anything. Same thing, I answer and nobody on the other end. So before you are a complete a***ole Internet Batman and insult people, maybe, just maybe this doesn't pertain to everyone.

Calls all day. A collection agency would at least answer. How do you stop. I do not anything outstanding. They are wearing out my phone!

It's not a scam--it's a debt collection agency. Before you post again on topics that you know nothing about--do a little research....before making yourself look like an idiot again.
Debt collection firms DO NOT belong to the company a person has their initial debt with.
When a person goes delinquent on an account past a certain period if time, the creditor sells that account to a collection agency, who in turn--tries to recover the funds.
If your debt was with, say Discover Card and you haven't paid your bill for a few monrhs--they sell your account to another agency. That's why the debt collector has a different name and phone nunber--they are a different agency.
Jeeeeez people--do your homework!
You take the time to come here and post your rants, but can't take 2 minutes to do a Google search???

Got 7 hang up calls. This company even called to say they were discover and gave a telephone number... Even better they can't get the name right. Our phone number is listed under my maiden name (which I'm not changing) and they keep asking for my sister in law... who REST HER SOUL.. is not with us. This has got to stop.

This is a scam. They says collection Agency. I do not owe a penny to anyone. A lot of people owe debt and they think it is one of their creditors which it isn't. Just a scam to cheat people out of money.I have heard of people paying as they thought it was for a debt they owed. It was not the company they were in debt to.

This may be a collection agency but they need the sense God gave a jack*** to get any results - no messages left, no one on the phone when you say hello. Good thing there is caller ID so you know what calls to not waste your time even trying to answer.

Calls ten times a day or more. The calls start from 8:30 am to 9:35 P.M. This person does not leave a message and does not leave a response. I will have to take legal action.
