It is a scumbag attorney in Arizona who takes all the junk debt like Discover Card and harasses you. His name is Guglielmo if im not mistaken. My acct was charged off by Discover but he bought my debt for pennies on the dollar and is now trying to pocket the balance. Dont give them money. I tried working out a deal w these clowns and had the nerve to tell me i wasnt paying them enough each month. Finally said hell with u!! I block all unknown Arizona numbers n dont have a personal greeting on voicemail.

I want them to stop calling me! They don't say anything when I answer!

Caller started calling after a disputed account with credit bureau.  Does not leave a message and several times a day, early mornings and late evenings including holidays.  If they are legit, they should leave a message and call back number.

This number has now called me twice, once last night at 930pm. Didn't answer because it said Arizona and I know no one from there. They don't leave a voicemail either. Rather annoying and i wish they would stop calling.

they called one of my phones a few times today.  I am on the DO NOT CALL registry and somehow they got through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am NOT happy about this.  Something has GOT to give.

This number has been calling me 5 or 6 times a day for the past month.  I finally answered to see if a person was there I could talk to, and it was a recorded call, which I didn't listen to. Probably a telemarketer on automation.

answered the phone, took afew seconds for someone to talk said they were discover, had all my account info. very pushy about getting a payment from me, hung up called the number back said it was discover but definitely not the same as calling the customer service number. I wouldn't make a payment to them over the phone.

6236432727 shows as Peoria AZ.  Why would I call long distance when a simple web search of Discover customer service at 1-800-DISCOVER makes this clear.  Maybe it's not a scam but the 800 number makes it clear what you are calling.  The 623 area code casts a cloud of doubt.  Maybe it's call spoofing or other attempts to gather information about you.

If in doubt, call 1-800-DISCOVER and ask them.

Calls about 10 times a day tried blocking them and somehow gets through. Answered once and had Michael Jackson music playing but didn't say anything. Another time answered and they just hung up. Definitely not Discover!

This number must call me 10 times per day, leaves no voicemail. I am registered on the do not call list and it needs to stop.

I have the same situation. Late on a payment and those pricks are calling multiple times each day.

I have a story to tell, in regards to this number. Last week, I 'befriended' an individual on a site who called themself 'JAMES MELLUWAY'. HE had pics posted, in particular one with a cute little girl he called his daughter. HE gave me his number, 623-738-4982(google voice). Shortly after he took pics off site. I questioned, he said 'too many inappropriate/unwanted messengers'. Hmmmm.....right! He said he was in AFRICA helping his ailing mother! Wait, it gets better......lol. (don't get me wrong, I am not naive, he had me at AFRICA!) I decided to go on, I needed a good laugh. We text a couple times, never talked, wasn't going there. Nothing big. He then asks me if I can help him! (I was waiting for this question!) I said with what. He said he needs money for his moms meds. I said how can I help?.......lol $250!!!! I said, 'oh thats not bad!' I wanted to string 'him' along, like this person obviously has done to others. He gave me this address: 23 Yimu str Ifako, Lagos, Nigeria, 23401. No address found. I said I'll send on my break. That very day, I received 10 calls from 623-643-2795!!! Coincidence? I think NOT!!! Of course, I did not answer, although now I'm curious as to who it was. Later, I text asking 'Well, did you get it?' I received NO more texts and no more calls. My last text to this person was 'Of course you didn't get it dumb a**! Your system failed you! Perhaps it's because YOU don't know who you're dealing with on the other end! lololololol........thanks for the laughs! HUN!!!!' (this is what he called ME in every text!)
So when I saw this site, I found it to be very interesting and disturbing. I wish there was something we could do to stop these people. From what it sounds, it may be this 'woman' who has been calling all of you. Perhaps it's a DISCOVER card employee taking advantage, using the number and peoples info. There's got to be something illegal going on here. I think I will call DISCOVER, although I never answered the call, so I never spoke to anyone. Not sure what I can tell them. I just know these number have got to be connected. Good thing for me is, I don't think they'll be calling anymore!

I also forgot to make a payment, and as a rule, do not answer unknown callers. It was Discover Card to tell me i missed a payment.they were calling 3-4 times a day, and not leaving a message.

 I'v been getting these fictitious calls like this for the past couple of years.When the phone rings I look at the ID caller,if I don't recognize the number I DON'T ANSWER and if it is a legitimate call they'll leave a message...and that's how I deal with it.

I too was receiving calls from Discover Financial, 5-7 times a day from 8:00am-9pm.    My wife and I are going through some tough times right now.   I'm unemployed (almost 2 years) and my wife went out on workman's comp in Nov.

Anyway, my wife was fired from her job in a letter waiting for her operation for her knee and couldn't pay her bills anymore.   She filled for bankruptcy and the letter hasn't gone through the channel yet from the lawyer to Discover yet.

I called as a previous caller did about 20 times in a matter of 7 minutes.   They always gave the person's name and was talking to so every time they asked me for my account number, I replied "No thank you".   After doing this a few times and having gotten the same person on a 4th call, I then explained to her this is what they are doing to me and my family and that if they didn't stop calling, I would do this 100 times an hour and include a few friends to do the same.  ALSO, I DID THIS ON A SATURDAY WHEN CALL VOLUME IS LOW!!!!!

I explained my wife filed for bankruptcy, that I have an account with Discover that has 4 times what my wife owed them and if they didn't stop I would file for bankruptcy too.    I gave her my phone, she asked for the attorney's name, I gave it and said they would stop calling.    Let's see if this works.

Lastly, in the conversation I mentioned that this is their practice and I've read about it on the internet and this isn't a good business practice.

Called my cell phone twice, 1st time I was still asleep, 2nd I answered it and no one was on the line. When I arrived at work, I received a note from the dispatcher that I had gotten a call, no name was given but the number was (623) 643-2795.  STOP CALLING !

They started calling me when my payment was 2 days late, at work, 4 times a day, weekends, holidays, EVERY DAY .  I did not answer and I AM cancelling this card. I have had it since 1995 and have been a few days late maybe three times!  BS  there are other places that want my business

If you return the call it is in fact Discover. The incoming call beeps and disconnects for some unknown reason.

These people are persistently calling my WORK phone so it's not legit. I don't use this number for any personal business. I received messages once or twice and Discover was mentioned. Definitely either telemarketing or a SCAM.

These people call me at least 4 times a day and its getting very annoying. It started happening in the beginning of February and hasn't stopped since. I never answer it...

I keep on getting calls from this number which shows unknown and no message. I checked this site and based on the comments, I found out the number is for Discover Card. I do not have a Discover card and as to how they got my cell number, it's beyond me. I hope they stop calling my cell phone.
