Called the number back and she answered 'Clothing for Paralyzed Vets' after having told them I don't donate to beggars on the street or phone, what a SCAM, but since its Arizona, not shocked that the caller ID would say something else.

Same as all of the above post ...have ask to be removed from calling list to no avail...two plus calls a day come in with no message. Next stop State A.G. to file a complaint.

I have also been receiving calls from this # - it comes up as "Clothes for Charity". Alot of red flags with regards to this #. They call everyday....sometimes several times a day. Never leave a message...Hmmmmmm!!!
If they are in fact legit....I'd recommend that they hire some professional individuals who represent the organization with some honesty & integrity.
I will be reporting this # to the BBB as well as other government agencies who are the "watch-dogs" for organizations who have nothing better to do than to harrass or scam people. You make me sick!

Clothes for Charity is NOT registered with the state of Arizona. Their website doesn't list their IRS non-profit identification number. They are a FRAUD!!!

Charity's are exempt to the DNC up to a point, even they can get into trouble nd be fined for harassing calls. The DNC is aimed at telemarketers only though. Political and some survey's are exempt as well. Otherwise it works as it is intended and keeps the honest business's honest. The DNC complaints are a database for all agency's to use.
The things you can do to help yourself are easy. Do not answer numbers you do not recognize. Do not push 1 or any number suggested to talk to someone or remove you from the list. In this case, instead of filing a complaint with the DNC, take it to the FTC & FCC directly for harassment. Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

This is probably NOT a legitimate charity because they sure do not act like one. Telescammers, that's what they are.
And our Do Not Call list, for which we all pay taxes each year? Toothless tiger which does NOTHING>

Caller ID says Clothes for Charity and we have been getting calls from this number several times a day for the last 2 weeks. Since they won't leave a message I decided to call the number and I got a recording that the person at ext XXX was on another call and to leave a name and number ... no mention of Clothes for Charity in the recorded message ...

They call and call and when answered tonight loud music was playing and no response. The caller I'd says Clothes for Charity. These people call at least once a day for about 10 days now

This number belongs to Clothes for Charity, 4335 W Glendale Ave, Glendale, AZ. They've been calling me every day for about a week. I'm not familiar with them, but they could easily be another Arizona scam masquerading as a charity such as the Breast Cancer Society in Mesa. I can't imagine why a charity would have such an urgency to call me so often, so that makes me very suspicious. Proceed with caution with these folks since they may have the same M. O. Caller blocked.
