This is a tower cell switch for people on vacation, my dads on a cruise and called me from his number which picks up the mexico towers and becomes this number. Answer it, its someone you know on vacation geesh

I too received a call from this number yesterday. I only heard strange noises and hung up.

That's not good hunnie. My mom has been calling me from a 624 number also and she is in Cabo. He definitely lied about where he was. The question is, why would he lie?I hope he's not cheating.

The giveaway is the exchange, not the area code. In North America NO exchange begins with a 0 or a 1. But they do in Europe. Get the connection? (as in paid).

Didnt recognize the number so I dont answer my cell.  They called back 12 minutes later.  The Wisconsin Dept of Consumer Affairs states the number to be scammer.  When you answer the phone, you are revesed charged for an international call.  Sort of like a 900 number but they call you.  DO NOT ANSWER,

I didn't answer my call from this number but when I checked my voicemail it was my friend calling while vacationing in Cabo.  It was from her cell phone, but the number converts to allow the call.  Hope this helps.  If you have family or friends vacationing in Cabo-answer it!

Just received a call from this number. Very distorted couldn't hear a thing, I decided to stay on the line and listen, it was quite and then distorted again. I just hung up.

ANY american on vacation in CABO who calls an american number will have this number show up on the recieving end caller ID.  It is just a roaming patch phone number.  It is not a single person.  All of your boyfriends are not hanging out together at the same house and calling home.  ALL US based cell phones can look like this number when they roam in Cabo and call to the states.

Disruptive unwanted call

I just received two calls from this number and it was super distorted and couldn't understand anything of what the person was trying to say.  I answered the phone saying my name and I did hear on the second call he asked for me by part of my first name but it was very weird and I kept saying I couldn't understand them and if they could that the connection was bad and then hung up.

This number is not in my contacts and I keep receiving calls from there, when I answer there's noone there and they hang up.

Said that she was from the Department of Labor, Calling me at 7:20 PM

Get calls from my friend all the time from this number when he is in  Cabo.
Can't call back on that number, but using my friend's number from the states works great.

Just comfirming that this is indeed a person calling you from Cabo San Lucas.  My Boyfriend is in Cabo right now and when he calls this is the # that shows up.  I almost didn't answer it, but based on the time that he called I assumed it was him.  He's using his own cell phone, but the routing service for international calling must come up with this number.  We have a shared Verizon Wireless plan.
