I have gotten this call twice in the past week or so.  I press 9 and as soon as I ask them anything regarding who they are trying to get a hold of, I get hung up on. Very annoying.

A recorded call saying that my credit card was now in good standing, and to press 9 to learn more about getting a lower interest rate for your credit card.  No mention of who they are or who they are calling for.

I too pressed 9 to speak to an representative.   It transferred the call, they said "hello," then it was disconnected.  Annoying.

Message claimed that my credit card interest rate was too high.  

I pressed "0" several times, and got a human to answer.

As I asked what company they represented, they hung up.

We are on  the do not call list.

I have aslso receivced calls from this number-the last one about 10 minutes ago.    The same results. There has to be away to stop this from continuing. I know what I am going to start doing. Hopefully it will annoy them to the point they will stop calling me

I got a call from this number on cid, I did not pick it up, cid said California, I dialed it back 626-000-2989 and the call would not go through.  One of those bogus scams, probably trying to get our credit or banking info overseas.

This number is being spoofed by Portfolio Recovery Services (Debt Collector) gathering information to create an account with someone.

Machine calls, talks about debt restructuring, asks you to press 9 to talk to somebody.  Pressed 9, asked to be taken off a list and was hung up on.  Sounds like a scam.

received umpteenth robocall from this organization.  previously more than once have been told they will stop per my request & they have not!!  they claim to be able to reduce credit card rates.

got the same calls from rachel, and now they are calling at 7:30am with an UNKNOWN 160 number.

I have received several calls from this number offering us an opportunity to lower the interest rates on our credit cards. Each time we attempt to request that they put us on their do not call list we get hung up on, only to receive another call from the same number within 1 to 2 days. When attempting to call the number back, we get a message stating it is not a valid number and can not be completed as dialed. We have all landline and cellular numbers registered with the National Do Not Call Registry, but they continue to violate the law by calling us any way.

Receive constant calls from this 626-000-2989 even after asking them to stop. They just hang up.  Something about credit issues or services.  Will try do not call list again.

The notes on this number are from 2005-2010. I just got one this week. They didn't leave a message and the number comes up often. When I call back, no one answers. Is it still the same CC company or a new one? I would like to stop them, but have not gotten a live person. If you're reading and you are a CC marketer, don't bother. I don't believe in credit cards. They are the scourge of the earth and I gotten rid of all those accounts the past few years. My life is much less complicated, except for the unwanted phone calls.

Received automated call about a low interest rate. I dialed the prompt to speak with a person and requested that they take me off their call list.  The person cussed at me and hung up.

they keep calling and i don't answer phone calls that are unknown number and unknown names. there is no reason some debt collector should be calling me.  i pay all my bills on time.. harrassment. and i am on the no call list for telemarketers.  sick of this interruptions. r.c.

Receive calls from 626-000-2989.  Tried to report via https://www.donotcall.gov/ but the form will not accept the "000" phone number.  Reactions range from an immediate hang-up to vulgar, abusive language when I press "9" to talk to a live person and ask for my number to be removed.

Telemarketing, I understand.  It's a way to make a living, pay bills, and some people are very good at it.  THIS is harassment by goons.

i just received a phone call. the caller i.d stated california 1-626-000-2989so i answered it. i was asked to press 9 to speak to an agent so i can talk to someone about my credit card rates. so i did pressed 9 and a young lady on  the other line answered asking me to give my credit card # so she can give me a lower interest rate. i politely asked her who are you calling for? in return this young lady told me to f*** off. now the tables are turning because i have reported you idiots to my attorney general in mn. if you scammers are reading this ha,ha dumb a**.

I worked a business switchboard and used to receive these calls between 6-12 times a day daily M-F. I would call them, complain, and it would stop for about a week or two and begin all over again. It was always Rachel with Card Services or Julie with Card Services and it was amazing how Rachel and Julie always sounded the same with that annoying voice and accent!!

Donotcall.gov does accept the 000 number. I just reported it a few minutes ago. Try again!

They use these opt-out lines to confirm that they have a working number so that they can keep scamming and keep irritating the phone owners. If you are on a do not call list and getting phone numbers from something unrecognizable and/or that keeps hanging up on your machine or voice mail, just report them directly to donotcall.gov instead of trying to opt out and arming them with the info that you have a working number.

The donotcall.gov complaint site DOES accept the number with the 000. I just reported it. I've reported others as well. Try reporting it again if possible!

So aggravating - we get these calls ALL THE TIME. Cannot report it to DoNotCall, it won't accept the 000 number. Same as everyone else here, the recorded caller wants to consolidate my credit cards. We don't use credit cards - at all!

Received another of these calls from "Rachael' at card services on a registered "do not call" land line.  When pressed 9 to talk to human, male with north american accent answered, said he worked for "Card Services" and hung up when said number was listed with do not call list.   Get these calls 2 or 3 times a month, with a different caller id #.

I HAVE RECEIVED MANY CALLS FROM 626-000-2989 AND 663-000-5545 AND OTHERS. THEY GIVE YOU AN OPT OUT OPTION BUT IT DOES NO GOOD. THEY KEEP CALLING. GO TO OPTION 9 AND GET A PERSON? IF YOU WANT ANYTHING THEY HANG UP OR THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH VULGARITIES AND HANG UP. ALL I WANT IS FOR THEM TO STOP CALLING.

Keep getting hangup calls from this number. Caller ID says unknown. I have no idea who this might be.

I just got a call from this number...626-000-2989 on my business line... i pressed *9 to get to someone and I proceeded to tell the women that answered the phone that I have told them several times to quit calling and the women put me on hold and then hung up....I did report them to the DONOTCALL Registry don't know how much that will do, but hopefully they will quit calling me.....
