Why can't anyone with legal status do anything about this. It doesn't make any sense times are hard enought without these JERKS and I do mean JERKS trying to get money from people who has a job trying to live and make it. Go out there and do something out the way the authorities right on your tail but they can't get these Jack A***s. I've been called so much by different payday loan people and guess what, they are all Asian I should be a rich b__ch from getting so many payday loans. I'm getting tired.

ive had them call and when i stated i needed them to send a written letter as to the subject of the call, i was hung up on. i called back and told them my name and to STOP calling if they could not formally write a letter as to the issue. idk where this crap comes from but if i get another call i will be going to california to show them how we take care of BS... SOUTHERN STYLE. they are in monrovia, CA just incase n e 1 out there is getting the same calls and would like to confront them in person. they are not debt collectors they are scam artists

They called me and said that they could see I have paid my other loans on time and that this is one that is more than a year old and I would need to pay that amount.  I said how did you get my name and social, I also told them of other scammers and having paid a loan I did not even take out due to them threatening my job.  At this point he said I would need to speak to someone else, when I told him that I wanted them to fax my a copy of the paperwork and asked for a fax number they gave me 626-605-5723 phone number to the office was 626-239-3142 address is 101 Bayview Avenue, Monrovia, CA 91196 Law office of Howard Fletcher, when I pulled them up online it shows to be a Debt Collector not an Attorney's office.  When I told them I had an Attorney that could follow up on this matter on my behalf they asked for his name and number so I gave them a name and told them that I would take care of the matter based upon what my attorney found out and advised me to do.  They told me over and over they were not scammers but legal officers of the court, and that if I did not pay I would find out just how serve they could be to me.  I would like to have my information passed on to the FBI and other government agencies to get these people stopped!!!!!!! They caused my blood pressure to go up to the point that I had to go the hospital.  They are trying to get money to pay their own personal bills with no consideration to the damage they cause to others!

Just got a call from them saying they were with a Law Firm of  Howard Fletcher 101 Bayview Avenue in Monrovia CA 91196 fax number 626-605-5723 Phone number 626-239-3142 Said I did not know what they could do did see that I had paid my other loans on time and what brothers me is they have my social security number and date of birth.  Is there a lawsuit against this company if so I want my name on it.

Two days ago I was on my way home from work and they called. I happened to have a male friend in the car who tends to get rather protective when he sees me getting upset. Mr. Brown started trying to tell me AGAIN that I owed money for this payday loan. I asked him for the loan company's name and he refused! I asked him if there were a certified letter or subpoena sent out to me. He said I'd have to contact my lawyer, that it was sent to him. I told him I didn't have a lawyer and I didn't have a payday loan either and he needed to stop calling or I would have him reported then I hung up! He called back...only this time the number came up as mine!!!!!!! Strange...I thought...and then cracked up laughing! My friend took the phone the 3rd time they called and the first thing out of Mr. Brown's mouth was "F**k you". My friend said he kept repeating it over and over. They called 5 more times after that, leaving no vm at all and of course we didn't answer! I thought it was HILARIOUS!!!!! Go ahead jack***es...keep callin! Gives me my once a month explosion onto someone!!!

I got multiple calls form a man with an accent claiming to be Fred Morgan. He claims he is from Harvard and Fletcher he said I have serious allegations on my name and social security number. He has ban calling for weeks. I have 10 different voicemails from different dates and times. It?s always the same. The number he calls from is not the same callback number and neither of them is registered to a legit company.

I have been recieving calls from this number for over a month now. I have looked them up online and found that they are a scam. I will NOT give them ANY information. Even if they CLAIM to know all of my info; I will not give them a thing! I've already called and harassed them and threatened my own legal action! This has not stopped them! JEEZE! Thank GOD I don't have a job for them to call! I also had some identity theft issues and had to change all info! So...thank GOD!!! I hope whoever they are that Karma comes back and bites them REALLY hard in the a**! :)

Not sure how this idiot got my cell number and my home phone number but he needs to quit call me. He is threatening and verbally abusive. I have reported this guy more than once and apparently it has done nothing. Now I have to call the phone companies and have his number blocked.

Yea they called my job and asked to speak to my supervisor because I wasn't here and basically got on my co-worker's nerves!!!!!!

Oh yeah, big scam. Have fun with it and dont let them worry you at all, ask for an email or fax of any evidence regarding money you owe, also tell them you want said email to list a phyiscal address of their law firm, they will try to buy time or just hang up. Dont be afraid to ask all the questions you can, once they realize you arent going to listen to the BS they are trying to feed you, they'll stop.

Sucks about giving your info out even on payday loan info that you dont get accepted for, it still keeps that info on file and they try to use their knowledge of your address and SS number to scare you, dont even flinch with these guys, they can hardly speak english let alone string together a legitimate sounding sentence to make you believe they are legit.

Another number is a 508 number, these guys use magic jack and use extension lines, I called them back so many times pissing them off they began to answer as "Mcdonalds" lol.

I have received 3 calls for Fred  trying to collect a debt I don't owe he wants to call back

Called and left a message on my cell phone and at work about some payday loan a Keith Walker, sounds foreign. Scam. Don't have a payday loan, but yes, they say that have your soc. # and a bunch of other things.

these people called me as well and said a private investigator was looking for me and if i didn't comply i would be arrested that night..they called my cell phone 5 times when i was at work and then they called my work. they wont stop harassing me.

I, too am receiving harrassing phone calls from a Brian Smith from Howard and Fletcher.  Went to voice mail and he proceeds in using foul language.  I took my cell to the local police dept and let them listen to the message.  They told me not to delete any of the messages and to document every call and to come back and see them in 48 hrs
    I did call them back and asked who the lawsuit was with.  It too was for a payday loan, which I have never applied for.  I want to know how these idiots get their hands on our personal information.  I recently got my annual free credit report and thats when it all started

yeah, Sharon called my home looking for my boyfriend  she had all his personal info said her law firm "Howard Flecther" received this info from Payday USA she would not further talk to me, I told her that I would have him call her back.  Well I have been reading some of the post on here so I decided I wanted to play a few games. I called back, asked for Sharon I was told she left for the day. So I talked to the person that answered the phone who was "Jeff Scott". He went thru all of GH's info and I denied it all he said oh we must have the wrong GH. He said so sorry and ended the call.  Well I didn't let it go I decided to call back and I pretended to be "Ruth" from a local law office representing GH in chapter 7 bankruptcy and that he made no mention of "Howard Flecther" or "Payday USA". He said he received all the info on GH from Payday USA I then told him I wanted copies of the loan papers he said I would have to call Payday USA for them, I agreed. I asked him the phone # for Payday USA and he said he could not give me the number or he would lose his job, he told me to get it from the internet.
I came in pulled up "Payday USA" and a pay roll firm came  up.  I tried calling the 626-239-3142 # and a recording comes on and says the number you have dialed is not in service.   I called back and a hard to understand male answered and I asked him if this was "Payday USA" he said no it's "Howard Flecther" I asked him for the number to Payday USA and he hesitated and hung up on me.
I had a good time for awhile this afternoon screwing with them, it's time to relax in the tub.  Good Luck to all that gets a call from these shisters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These people have called my job making threating calls I work for company that has all calls recorded they have now started calling my husband. Want information saying I'm being sued but yet I have not got any certified letter in mail or anything....They are a joke cussing and harassing give them no information......

I have received numerous calls from this and similar numbers from people with extremely thick accents.  They are very difficult to understand, but clearly threatening.  They state that I owe money, which I clearly do not.  The last time I received a call I told the caller that the call was being recorded and would be sent to the authorities and he hung up..  This is a TOTAL SCAM PEOPLE!!!

This is a SCAM. I contacted the NC Attorney General Office and they have a fraud alert posted on their website. These people are from India and the way they get yours and my information is if we ever went online to fill out an app for a payday loan or an app period online. They contact your job and make numerous calls to your cell. Since they are from out of the country the numbvers can't be traced. They are using a CAlifornia number.

Just wondering what company you took your loan out with, cause I too have takin one out and wondering if these people are giving our information out!?!?!?!

I keep reciving a call from this forgien man, I ask to speak to an american and they will not let me speak to anyone... and the continue to hang up on me when I call them back to ask how they have gotten my information and they will not tell me... are they stealing my idenity??

I am dealing with the same thing u guys!!! It is so aggitating!!! they say the same thing that they are saying to yal and same names...I also told them to send me documentation of this debt and i wld be glad to pay it no problem but they said  they cant do that..well hello if it is a debt u wld think they wld send something to prove it...and then they also told me that i wld be arrested in 24 hrs if this was not taken care of ....HOW IN THER HELL CAN THESE PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!!!!!!I AM SOOOO PISSED....
