This guy so called by him self "Jim Martin" or whomever he is, sounded extremely foreign and very serious. I am reporting this number and this message to the FBI. In returning the call several times, I was cut off and threatened that my work was going to be called 10,000 times, and I was called a fuc*#&@ Bi***. I told them to quit calling me & I will quit calling them.

I have saved message ... made threats to me , contact attorney, wish you good luck with your life, left the phone number but when you call back it cuts you off. these people are wacked!!!

i dont trust them of scam or straght person bec i am deaf woman and i already call to credit berue and counlsor about scam or person that why i am not happy myself bec they are hearing and i am deaf woman and i need to prove to me a letter than call on telephone!!!! stop it of scam on me

This number has been calling my phone for the past couple of months. But they are calling for my boyfriend. They will call like 13 times in one day. And they always say the same thing. It's time sensitive
and either Justin or his lawyer call back as soon as he gets this message. And if they don't hear from him or is lawyer all they can do is wish him luck as this situation UN-folds on him. Well I'm wondering  when this situation is going to UN-fold because they have been calling my phone for about 7 months now. It's always either a guy or a girl and I guess they are Pakistani I can't understand half of what they say. And see I though that It may have been a real collector because about a year ago my bf fell asleep driving a rear ended someone, well he hasn't got that whole thing taken care of yet. But now that im reading this website and how everyone is saying the same thing, im going to the police to. And I have a free voice mail called youmail. and its great I can set up any message that I want for any caller so I have to say when that number calls my phone this is what my message says: " The wireless subscriber you've dialed has reported this telephone number as a lewd or threatening caller. The appropriate documentation has been filed with the subscriber's local law enforcement agency. This and all future attempts to call as well as text messages collected will be forwarded to that law enforcement agency for investigation, good bye". And then it just hangs up on them I have it to wear they cant leave a message. But everyone should try this website its free. You can use the real AT&T or Version operator to tell them that your number has been disconnect. It's called  www.youmail.com/

Kept getting these phone calls from the same guy. Even called me at my job. I called my local sheriffs office. They told me it was a scam.

I have reported this number to the FBI. They have received numerous calls from law-abiding individuals complaining that callers with poor commands of English have been calling and issuing frightening though absurd threats: to wit: "if you don't return me my call, then all I can do is wish you good luck." Mangled though the English is, these threats are very real. Do not call these people. Call the FBI.

These people make a habit of calling, it would seem, those who have applied for or received payday loans and issuing them threats. Do not call this number back.

Husband received identical call...8 am on a Saturday..Rude Indian accent...do not interupt me....demanding a prepaid visa be used to avoid arrest.  "Sharon Smith" and atty Mike collins...  

My concern is how they have work ad cell number.

I just started receiving calls from this number.  The individual spoke in broken english  and said, I need to contact him right away or if not good luck.  I have had others like this and have lost a job account of them.  I don't know, what they are after, but they say I owe them money, but refuse to send a copy of any type of bill.  They don't even give their company name.  I wonder if they are just trying to get money for a terrorist group.  They do sound mid eastern.

I received a call this morning from a man with a thick accent.  he would not give me his name, just said he was a paralegal.  He gave me the p num to call 6262393148.  Said it was an attorney that I needed to speak with in regards to a case filed agaisnt me.  When I called  said the mailbox was full.  This sounds very "shady"  how can this be stopped.??

I have received 4 of these calls today.  Also from a lady whom I can't understand.  Telliing me that I will be arrested in the morning at my home for not making a payment on a loan that I supposedly have taken out.   She said that the loan was with Advance USA or USA Advance.  Not sure which.  I receive literally hundreds of pay day loan applications by email daily.  They fill my SPAM and inbox within hours if I don't delete them.  Unsubscribe doesn't seem to work, I get rid of one and 3 more are added.  Don't know who these people are, but if anyone knows how to get rid of them PLEASE let me know!!  I too have blocked all calls from this number. 8886723673 is another number that has called with same message .  Can not understand this person either.  Can not understand what business they are calling from.

I GOT THE CALL YESTERDAY, SAFE THE MESSAGE FROM MY CELL AND WORK, WALK MY SELF TO THE POLICE STATION AND TOLD THEM AND PLAY THE MESSAGE ALSO GIVE THE SAME INFORMATION TO MY LAWYER. WHEN THE OFFICER CALL THEM AND MY LAWYER THE NUMBER WAS NOT WORKING, BUT WHEN I CALL WITH MY CELL OR WORK NUMBER WAS WORKING, I THINK THEY LOCK OUR NUMBERS SO ANY OTHER WILL NOT WORK.

caller called me around 2 p.m. on my home number stating they were department of legal affiars and investigation telling me to contact a Michell Brown at # 1-818-337-1077 at once, when I called this # it goes to a mail box for this phone and it is a cell phone out of  L.A. California an the mail box was full such crap...  Plus the guy that called me DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL AT ALL AND HAD ME ON SPEAKER PHONE SO THERE WAS AN ECCO OF EVERYTHING THAT I SAID NOT TO MENCHEN I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND HIM AT ALL AND ASKED ME TO VERFIY MY ATTORNEY AND MYSELF BIRTHDAY AND SOCIAL NUMBER YA RIGHT NOT BULL CRAP AGAIN GONNA FIGURE OUT HOW TO BLOCK THIS NUMBER AND ANOTHER ONE FROM MY HOME NUMBER

I received a call from this number telling me that i am stealing money online. i will be arrested at 4pm at my job so when the cop shows up he will give me more information. i tried asking what this was in reguards to and she tells me why the hell are you laughing ? i said im not laughing im trying to figure out why im being arrested she said because I am stealing money online and then she says you took out a loan and never repaid it. so the local police will be here at 4pm and if im not here at work they will pick me up at home and take me to california and prosecute me there and then i will be behind bars for 2 months.

I too received a call for this number, they threaten me with arrest if I dont give them $5000 and the name of a lawyer.  I did contact my lawyer because they new my social security number, I have NO idea how they got it. Also, the female that called was from India or somewhere in Asia because I could hardly understand a word.  They also said that they represent the CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND ACQUISITIONS. I am calling the local TV station investigating reporters to let them know!

Then I got a voicemal from the same people twice. I did and plan not to call them back. These people or that company needs to be prosecuted. Multiple scam calls @ work & cell phone from the 626-239-3148 number leaving me voicemail calls informing me of "sensitive issues" that requires my "immediate response" ... best thing to do is let your bank know, advise your references, and contact the 3 major credit bureaus requesting to put an alert on your file.

Indeed, got calls @ work and cell ... very rude caller w/ Indian/Pakistan accent ... 626-239-3148 pops up on caller ID as coming from Monrovia, California ... had to understand these people.

I got a call from them saying I was going to jail on fraud if I didn't pay them money.  The lady called me stupid and when I called back she just kept hanging up on me.  I called the police.

If you recently applied for a payday advance I believe the company is selling your information. These people called my job number and I only listed my job number when I was requesting a pay day advance.

This number just called me this morning. First....they called my cell number and I didn't answer to they rudely called my JOB! NOT COOL! The call was transferred to me and its a guy name "Michael George" saying he is a paralegal and said there is a lawsuit being brought against my social security number and ask for my lawyer information.

I told the guy I don't have a lawyer and what is he talking about? What is being filed against me?
He says " call 626-239-3148" and ask for "Michelle Brown". I looked at the caller ID (which we have at work) and said "that is the number you are calling from". He said "I know but she will answer". (SOUNDS FISHY ALREADY)

So I call the number back a woman of Indian decent answers and then places me on hold and I hear an automated voice say "one moment please". I stayed on the line and no one said anything but I could hear the other agents (all Indian decent) in the background talking.

I kept saying "hello" and no one responded so I disconnected the call and called back. When I called back, 3 times, the call went to a VM saying the mailbox was full.

THIS IS SUCH A SCAM, I KNOW IT! DO NOT PROVIDE THESE PEOPLE WITH ANY INFORAMTION. HAVE THEM TO GIVE U EVERYTHING SINCE THEY SEEM TO HAVE ALL YOUR INFORAMTION ANYWAY. GOOD LUCK !

I also got this call and everyone- it is a scam.  I am an identity theft specialist and this is so typical of a scam. I accused them of being a scam and they immediately hung up.  Just ask them to never call again and then hang up or ignore all future calls.

so many people have been called by that number including me.   So since your calls are recorded at work  please follow through with the police.  Whoever is doing this needs to be stopped.
