got a call from this number....so over People having numbers that you cant return their...most disconnected or not in service...how can they call us...how can Verizon or any carrier allow this...I sad to whoever..if this number is not available to call back I will report you...a Man said who cares.........I called back....not in service at this time....I report this to the FCC!...We pay 100s to our phone companies....and 80% are phoney, cell type calls...So over it!...if its Vonage as stated above...why all the BS...state your Co name on Caller ID....state your Business and Talk.....very simple! If not I report..dont have all day and phone calls that mean JACK!

Receive over 30 voice mails with dead air during the night. When I answer no one is there.  Tried to call it back states number not working.

Called me 3x today, left no message just blank air.

Received 3 calls from this numbrer, a minute apart. When i called back, it said it was disconnected.

It's vonage calling.  I have a vonage account and they actually left me a voicemail.  I was expecting the call because I was changing some things on my account. It's legit.

Come on, just look at the grammar erros above, may be theyd pick it up from us!

I can confirm this was a Vonage call.  I had service issues and the Vonage person was kind enough to call me back several times as we wroked the issues out to see if they had been resolved.  This number appeared in my call history for all of those calls.

626-256-0001 is Vonage Customer Service and Tech Support.  I had called Vonage for tech support and got disconnected.  They called me right back, and this number is what came up on caller I.D.  No mystery.  It's Vonage, and yes, most of them can barely speak English.

They called, but left no message.

I called back, got "we're sorry, you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service..."

Called me at 4:30 in the F'n morning.

Received a call this morning...lady stated she was calling from Vonage and wanted to speak with someone (name untelligible) and after she repeated the name 3 times I still couldn't understand her. I asked her what she was calling about and she said Vonage...I told her if she was with Vonage she would know who the phone belonged to. I think this is a scam

Ok, not so eerie.  I may have solved the phantom call mystery :)  I picked up the call from this number and it was a Vonage rep calling from the Philippines doing a cust serv. callback..  Mystery solved, they should leave a message and probably don't to avoid int'l call fees.

very similar to others rec'd call but it was missed.  when i called back it's not in service or disconnected.  some type of scam maybe?  i know 626 is a CA area code.  strange that others would get this same type of call.  eerie.

Called me twice on my cell within a couple of minutes (I was on another call and didn't take the call).  Also called my wife's cell (different area codes).  Didn't leave messages on either line.

Same thing as Jane...called the number back and was told that this number is "disconnected or not in use". Called my business line as well as my home phone too!
