I am on the none-call-list. They do not stop!
Who can stop and punish them?

Our business gets 2-5 calls every day.  It's a recorded message.  As soon as I hear it, I hang up.  This is a small office and I have better things to do than deal with this!

we get 2-5 calls a day to buy insurance at affordable prices.. omg its annoying!

Caller ID says "Service Announcement". Left no message.

RUDE and STUPID PEOPLE

wanting to sell life insurance. i have life insurance. do not need any more.

i got an email that says when you get a call from a telemarketer, etc., and no one answers right away, then you know it's an automated line that tracks what time of day your household is most likely to pickup.
solution: HIT THE POUND (#) key REPEATEDLY. I go for like 6-10 times to be safe, and that "supposedly" jams the computer.
I just did it when this number called and I could hear an audible "click, cluck" then I hung up. Hopefully they do not call again. We'll see.

This number, as well as a couple more, call me wanting the same thing. Some kind of life insurance or health insurance...depending on what number they are calling from....
Just today, I have counted 8 calls from this number on my UNLISTED cell number.. also 5 on my UNLISTED private home number. I have reported them to the FCC, and encourage you to do the same...

This number calls my house at least 5 times a day, offering life insurance.  It says press 9 to opt out and be removed from the list.  I press it everytime, and the calls continue on and on.

this number has been calling me every single day for weeks on end and I am on the Do Not Call List..!  1-626-273-8228. when i call it back, it just gives a busy signal.
I have filed a complaint at the fcc.gov... and i encourage everyone to do so. This has got to stop..!

Thank you all who have reported this number. I have been called on several occasions from this number and I won't answer. Many of you have reported that the caller is trying to sell some kind of insurance or other product.

If they are genuine sales people they would know your name from a list and won't be so rude when trying to make a sale. My guess is that they are trying to get your name, address and other info to compile data to sell to other parties interested in identity theft.

They keep calling in hopes that another family member might give out the information, so brief everyone in your household about these scams.

Well, I know how you all feel.  This number keeps calling me at work and then hanging up on me.  When *69 gives me this number, I try to call it back and the number is either busy or continuously rings.  I'm like you!  I'm sick of these calls.  An unknown number has called me twice on my phone today as well as every day this week.  Is there anything we can do about this at all?

The call comes in and appears on the caller ID as Service Announcent. When no one answers they hang up.

Search says it's on S. First St. between E. main St and E. Bay State St.
I don't know anyone in calif.  I'm not answering the phone.
Message on my machine said something about some insurance policies.  My insurance doesn't come from calif either.

They called wanting me to refinance through them.  I asked him to put me on do not call list and he told me no.  I was suprised and asked again, and again he said no.  He said he was a salesman and that he didn't believe me and that I had to sell it to him.

They called my work number and when I press the number "2" to be removed it does not work, do I pressed "1" and when they answered and I told them that presing "2" doesn't work, he hung up on me.  Very rude people.  I would not even answer.  They are most likely using a computer program to dial all numbers with a certain area code.  So they business and homes for insurance quotes.

Called me today but didn't leave a message. I just changed my home number a month ago because my ex-wife has been hitting me up for money ever since the child support payments stopped this past July but my point here is they must really recycle old numbers fast because a week after getting my new number I started getting calls from several collection agencies looking for some woman.

have called my home several times in one day for the last 3 weeks. opt out does not work. telemarketer said hed be sure to call me back tomorrow.

calls 2-3 times a day with different service from life insurance, cable, banking, ect.. getting annoying and they wont stop. Seeking class action suit for no call list nothing yet

call every day - never leave message - never answer when i pick up - interrupt my business phone calls at home - how do I get them to stop calling my number?

I recieved a call today from this number and it was a recording about cable service free hbo and showtime for three months or something....

I received 7 calls from 626-273-8228 between 01/05/08 to 01/08/08.  I followed the prompts and connec ted to an agent.  He refused to give his name or an employee id.  He was very rude and when I requested to speak with a supervisor he refused.  After approximately 1 minute of silence he disconnected the call.  I had requested that he remove my number from the call list but that was when he started geting rude.

Got a call on my work phone - about eliminating credit card debt - I pressed 1 and told her this was a business phone - she hung up!

I am getting so much of this at work - also at home - like most people I am on the do not call list for home, work and cell phone - how are they getting through?

i keep reciveing calls from 626 8228 the irratation comes from t hem hanging up. i live in cleveland so i immediatly though my husband was having an affair from some one out of state. after coming to this site i feel better knowing its an incompetent sales person who odvious doesnt know how to work their system. or to lazy to say anything and just hangs up

on X-mas eve i asked why they are bothering me on a holiday she told me to kill my self then hung up on me.  she must be real miserable with her life..

Called received on both my home phone and cellfone, both listed with Do Not Call Registries, with message about Whole life insurance for burial and other expenses.  (BTW, WHOLE LIFE insurance is a scam to start with, using cash values as a hook, but with interest rates so rotten they no longer build any actual value.  IF you need insurance, buy only TERM life insurance.)  Per USA federal regulations as of Dec 1st by the FTC, robo calls may only be made to persons with an established business relationship to the company, i.e. an existing customer, and must provide an opt out.  I have never done biz with any company like this so it was illegal to start with.  The opt out still forwarded me to the salesman instead of opting me out of future calls.  The salesman clicked off the minute i started talking so that he would not hear me say that I was on the Do not Call registry or that I did not want these calls...what they don't hear they do not think they are responsible for.....
