Unsolicited call from Share Group, with a message that was unintelligible owing to the player that sends the message being damaged: extremely slow, low grumble.
I so hate getting calls from message machines, even ones that work. I want the possibility of unsolicited calls eliminated. I wish donotcall.gov was really effective.

Answered...idiot male humming. Hung up. According to whitepages.com, call originates from landline based in Alhambro, CA

Calling every day ... for several days running. No message. Called number back and got recording "Share Group" a call center for several not-for-profit organizations. The message says I am probably being called because I have given to one of the organizations that uses them in the past. Offers an "opt out" choice in the phone menu options with the admonition that it will take up to 72 hours to remove the called number from their database. I did that --- more than 72 hours before -- and still getting calls a week later. Come on - get your act together and do what you say you will do. I have a pretty good idea what charity I have given to and won't be giving again.
