I received 12 calls from 909-759-9176 this morning.  All from different callers, each trying to verify my address so they can send me $100 free gas cards.

Most wouldn't tell me their company, but one guy begrudgingly mumbled "Global..." then trailed off.

Another introduced himself as Marcus.  I asked for his supervisor's name and number.  He said he was the supervisor.  So I asked for his full name.  He said Joseph Marcus.  I laughed at him and said "so you introduced yourself by your last name?"  He said yes then hung up without giving me his number.

I havent gotten any phone calls since, but plan on telling them I am keeping a log for my lawsuit.

Doubt it will help but I'm not changing my phone number.  (I added the number to my phonebook as "spam" so I know who it is when they keep calling.)

Don't say the word "Yes".

Call Digicom Services: (800) 464-5446

Tell them 3-4 of the numbers who are calling you so they can figure out which customer it is.

They'll tell you that they'll contact the customer to get you removed.  They'll also give you the phone number of the customer.  Unfortunately... when I called, I got their voice mail.

This one group goes under the names:

"Telephone Management"
"GM Marketing"
"Global Management"
"Global Management Marketing"

Their number is: (866) 225-1956 - Give them a call and try to get in touch.  My guess is that you will never talk to a real person.  You will always get their voice mail.  Leave your name and number and request to be taken off their lists at your own risk.  I didn't. I'll try calling back a couple of times.

Their one number is listed as land based not 5 miles from where I am.  I'm very tempted to go over and knock on their door.  Who knows what address they're using to register these numbers.

Elsewhere on the web, there was a rumor that these guys had already been sued for millions of dollars.  Chances are they aren't going to play by the rules when you call.

Red, I'm on the same list as you.

They're all calling through Digitcom services.  It appears to be some sort of anonymous voice mail service.  I'm going to see if I can call them and get my number blocked as far as anyone from their service calling me.

I signed up for the FCC Do Not Call list, but that takes another month to kick in.  No idea if these guys respect it though.

The FCC has a name for calling, and dropping because no agent is ready when you pick up, It's call abandonment, and here's the form to report it.

http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/1088D-R.pdf

They are not allowed to abandon more than 3% of the calls that pick up, but, last year, it was changed to a 30 day average, instead of on an individual day.

This number called me about 5 times between 5 am and 7 am today.  I'm not answering, but I'm not sure how to get them to stop calling. I'm afraid that if I answer, even to tell them to stop calling, they'll call more frequently.  Has everyone stopped receiving calls once they ask to be taken off the list?

Same experience, but I got off the phone before they asked for any money. As they had the last 4 digits of my credit card I asked them what bank they represented and I believe they said they were from Platinum Plus Rewards. I requested that they take us off their list and they called back just a few minutes ago. My husband has now also requested being removed from their list so we'll see where that goes.

This is a great website! Thanks! Keep it up!

I keep getting these, although there has been variation. First it was "gas cards", now it's some sort of $100 gift. Smelled a scam from the beginning so I never confirmed anything but also never got to the stage that they were asking me to pay for whatever.

Just received another one from someone claiming to be "Nicole Sanders", with a voice I recognized from at least one earlier call. Asked for a supervisor, claimed she was one (right). Asked to be removed, we'll see (eye roll)

Change your phone number it's the only way to stop it. there customer service number is a scam to verify who you are so they can add your name to there telemarketing buddies which equals "more calls to you" from all over the country. I ordered from a TV "informercial about the foot orthopedics" that's when the calls started. If I ever see that fat guy in the mall he's gonna get a swift kick in the pants.

They called 6 times in the past 2 hours, the only thing I can think of that I have signed-up for is a fax through email account.

I realized pretty quickly that it was a fake call and asked the lady who sold my information, but she became silent and wouldn't say anything after that.

I'm closing that card tomorrow, hopefully not too late!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM  Do not give out personal information.

Recieved a call from this number, Woman speaking broken English, claims to be from American Express.  Has the last 4 digits of my Amex card, my home address which is also my billing address.  Talks really fast and I can't understand her.  I ask her three times to repeat what she is saying and she tells me that because I am a valued customer American Express wants to send me a $100 gift.  She then proceeds to wanting to verify information.  I indicated to her that if you are American Express you have my information so we do not need to verify.  She continues and indicates she needs to bill me $1.00 for express postage to send my free $100 gift.  I asked if she was really with American Express and she indicated she was from Global ------  Marketing.  I called American Express fraud prevention and they indicated that this is not a solicitation authorized by AMEX and that it was a scam.

I'm getting calls from this number - 626-273-8240 - NONSTOP, day and night! It's possibly a spoofed number, as many calls from this area in Cali are actually being bounced out of India & the Phillipines through a system similar to Skype. Oh, and don't believe for a second that your Land or Cell phone provider can't track it back to it's ACTUAL location. They can! It's just a matter of if they really want to be bothered with it & how much you pressure them to do it. Threats of legal action rarely work, but filing an actual complaint & seeking legal actions seems to work wonders to get them to get off their a***s to trace it back to it's place of origin.

In my case though, everytime I answer, they hang up instantly.
No machine, no person, just dead air, then it disconnects.

This is a CELLULAR number, and is issued by Digitcom Services, Inc.
General location: San Gabriel Valley/Alhambra/Los Angeles, CA area.

Contact them to file a harassment/attempted credit card fraud complaint:
http://www.digitcom.net/contact.asp
or call them at 310-358-7000 / 800-464-5446

In what I've read so far on here and other places in regards to this number, it seems to be attempted credit card fraud, and getting as much information as you can to report it is very necessary.

I would suggest reporting it directly to:
https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
and also to:
https://secure.nclforms.org/nficweb/nfic.htm
also contact:
http://www.transunion.com/
http://www.equifax.com/
http://www.experian.com/
instantly and let them know what's possibly happening.
Once you place the fraud alert in your file, you're entitled to order one FREE copy of your credit report from each of the three consumer reporting companies immediately, and if you ask, only the last four digits of your Social Security number will appear on your credit reports from now on.
If one of your CC accounts shows fraud, have them close it immediately and issue you a new account number.

Sooner or later, if enough people complain and/or sue over these type of scams, the companies will have no choice but to act or risk losing all of their customers.

They started calling me this morning at about 8:00 and have called every hour on the hour since then. I answered a few times and it was just noise and then the calls were disconnected.  I finally answered about 10 minutes ago and some woman with a foreign accent tried to tell me that since my VISA account giving me my last 4 digits is in good standing.  Well not only is this card a debit card, but it goes through my bank, so there is no third party reward system for a keeping a debit card in good standing.  When she asked to verify my address, which she knew as well, I freaked out and said "how do you have that information?" I said I did not want anything from them and she hung up the phone. If they call again I'm not sure what to do. the numbers were 6262738240 and 6262738237

have been called several times by this number and by 626-273-8237. I assume they are related.  I never answer but am annoyed by the call frequency per day!  If I press re-dail it dials to a local# with a 626 exchange which is a residence in which the homeowner is confused why people are calling her back to be taken off  a calling list.  she recieves about 50 calls a day from angry people like us...which has to be just as annoying as recieving the sales call!

These people have called three times saying they have the last four digits of our Visa card. They are argumentative when I won't let them speak to my husband until they tell me who they are or when I tell them to stop calling they yell at me. The callers have heavy foreign accents and tell me that we are a prefered customer and they have a special gift for us. Until today I could not get a number on my caller ID.

I've received multiple calls from this company. Sometimes there is someone on the other end trying to get me to sign up for something, and sometimes it's dead air. I contacted the phone carrier and found out that the company is Telephone Management Caller ID, LLC. Their primary phone number is 866-225-1956. The company email address is dnc@tmcallerid.com. I recommend that everyone file a complaint with the FCC about this company.
