They have been telling me that they are job recruting agency and want to invite me to a job fair. And they seem to have the Indian accent too! What's going on with this scamers???

Yes, They have called me three times today, 2-3 times a week, for past several months even though I asked each time to take my name off of thier call list!!

I got about 10 calls from this number in the last few days (and several more that I haven't answered). They come multiple times a day - and I got one around 7:30 am on Saturday too! The callers claim to be promoting the Security Clearance Expo (http://www.securityclearanceexpo.com). This group is also on Twitter (@TechFaircom). There are a number of big companies on the list for recruiting at this event (Dell, Raytheon, BAE Systems, Accenture and more) - my tactic has been to tweet them to ask if they want to be associated with unrelenting telemarkers who are violating the do not call list rules...maybe they can be shamed into stopping this harassment...

I have been getting calls from this # for the past week.  Finally I decided to answer thinking it was the wrong # and got hung up on.  Yesterday I said  twice when they called, "Do not call this # anymore!"  Today someone actually answered and in a middle eastern accent said they worked for it sounded like a security company (??)  I said I wasn't interested and please don't call me anymore.  I just got a call.  =(  My advice is block the #.  I just did!

Will not pick up after reading all this feedback.  Calls started once a day and are now at 2-3 times/day.

Caller asks that I attend a Security Clearance Expo Job Fair in Northern VA. I would think if they are trying to attract people with security clearances to attend they wouldn't use people with such thick accents and who speak in VERY broken english (opsec anyone?). Anyway I asked how they got my number and they said they got it from a resume I posted online. I asked them not to call me back but they STILL DO.

I received another call from this number about a half hour ago, this time representing Security Clearance Expo (516-942-7579).   It was a marketing call for a job fair at the Westin Dulles Airport Hotel in Herndon, VA on 11 August, 2011.  

As everyone else, when I try to call this number, I get the same "not in service" message.  It is obviously an archived work around number that is tied to an active account so it can't be traced.

I don't know who owns the active account, but at least we can begin to put a few ch*nks in their armor by posting the names of their clients.   Reputable clients do not want to be connected to scammers like this.

If you receive a call from them, please take notes and post the information on these sites.

Now we know that this "service" is connected to the Westin Hotels and Security Clearance Expo.    Each time we add to the list we can come closer to identifying these scammers and shutting them down.

Others have noted that these calls usually start shortly after they update their resumes on major job boards (CareerBuilder and Monsters) and last for about two weeks.   Referring back to my resume updates, the time lines do match.  

Last night I sent an email to CareerBuilder and Monster security and received a response from CareerBuilder that they are familiar with this scam and the number is associated with a Payment Processing / Re-shipping Scam.   They are able to fly under the Do Not Call restrictions because they do not sell anything (to the best of my knowledge)

This is especially disconcerting because, even though the percentage is low, there are people who will fall for the scam and provide a bank account number and/or SSN, which allows these scammers to steal your identity, and go on a spending spree using your personal information to set up a payment processing account.  

This phone number is most likely a "work around" number that is not tied to a valid phone service provider.  This number is set up to redirect to the assigned number, thus the reason for the "number not in service."   Using a work around number, they cannot be traced, because the number is not tied to an active account.    Find the provider though, and you can find who is using the number.  

Call Block is not available to new Verizon subscribers (less than a year), so I have no options available to block these calls, other than change my phone provider.   Verizon does have a for-fee Call Intercept feature, which is 2-tier voice mail system.  The calls still go through, but I have to dial in to retrieve - ineffective for this purpose.  

It is obvious these people are trying to capture personal information for personal profit with the intent to steal your identity, drain your bank account, and/or run up your credit card.  

I would recommend you contact your phone provider and file a formal complaint and ask that they trace the number and file a report with FCC ? Verizon will NOT do this.   The next option is to notify your local police, and then your Congressional representative and senators.    If enough complaints are logged in the right places, action will be taken.  It won?t stop them, because they can set up another account and be back in business, but it will slow them down and make things inconvenient for them.

PLEASE remain vigilant and remember, in this era of technology, there is always someone out there trying to catch you off guard ? and then steal your identity for their personal gain.

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day for the past three weeks.  These are hang up calls, with no voice mail and return call message "number not in service."  

There is no profit motivation with these types of call, and I am concerned the caller is trying to use the phone number as a base to capture other personal information that may not be legal.  

It sounds like several people maybe using this number and that they mention SSNs confirms my suspicious and definitely raised a red flag.

Get a call a day from this number on my cell.  Started about a week ago.

I received phone calls from this number always around noon time. Its annoying I pick up they dont answer and hang up sometimes never leave a message and when I call back the number is not in service. They are probably using a spoof card and changing their number and picking a disconnected number.

Received the same call.  This makes day number two for me.  Best suggestion I can think is to have the number block from your phone.   Since you can not call them back.

I've received calls from this number 4-times this week. No one was on the other end when I've picked up and they haven't left a message when I don't answer. Last call I informed them that "There's no point in calling if your not going to speak." Pointless of course, but there it is. Very irritating!

I got a call earlier today and when I answered the phone they hung up. Then they called me this evening and there was a bad echo on the phone. The man on the other end had a hard time pronouncing my name and it sounded as if someone in the background was trying to help him pronounce my name. When I asked who it was he said it was something Security (I can't recall). I said I wasn't interested and he said ok and hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number! Sometimes 3 times a day! They called at 7:30 saturday morning and woke me up! Everytime I answer the phone they hand up! It is so annoying!! How do I go about blocking this number? Any suggestions?

3 or 4 calls fr. this # the past  few days to my cell phone.  Like others here, I called back, thinking it might be someone calling a wrong #, and recording says # is not in service.  The govt. agencies surely know about these annoying, and prob. illegal, scams- why are they not shut down, and the people in jail?  and the BBB is utterly worthless and impotent

Same problem.  Several calls, no message, and number is not in service.

I received a call about a career fair from this number, however I never signed up with this place or knew what they were trying to tell me. Can we report this number to the FTC because it sounds really suspicious.

This # keep on calling me and never left a voicemail.  I called back and says the # is not in service.  I did pick up few calls from this number, no one answer.  I heard just a hello once and got disconnected.  I am really annoyed.

626-326-5259 calls my cell phone every day begining after 1:00 pm at least 3 x.  Will not leave a message and when you call the number back it states I have reached a number that is not in service....Numbers that you can not call back should be outlawed.  If people should not be able to harrase you and not leave you any information to find out who they are collection agency or not.

This number calls me everyday and the same exact thing everyone else is saying is exactly what's happening to me.  I'm in Texas and the called says California too? No clue what/who thls is

My cell receives 2 or more calls a day from this number-and as everybody else says it is not in service.

: Calle the "do not call list" and NEVER EVER they has done anything for us.
Just like Government take your money and can't protect you.
AT&T respond" you must pay extra $5.00 Dollars a month for they activate the blocker and it is not guaranteed that will work.
