Try to keep the caller on the line and go along with what they say to get some info on them to share. Just posting that they called you doesn't really help stamp these people out.

I get repeated unidentified calls from this number. They don't leave a message. When I call back to complain, I am told that their mailbox is full. Very aggravating. But if that's the worse thing that happens to me today, well OK. :)

They are probably using an auto dialer. This via https://www.privacyrights.org/fs/fs3-hrs2.htm:
11. Sometimes my phone rings and there is no one on the line. What is happening?
Many people are frightened when they receive "hang-up" calls. They wonder if someone is harassing them, or if a burglar is checking to see if they are not home. In most cases, these calls are from telemarketers. (For additional information on telemarketing, see Fact Sheet 5, www.privacyrights.org/fs/fs5-tmkt.htm.)
Many telemarketers use "predictive dialing" technology to call consumers. A computer dials many phone numbers in a short period of time. When an individual answers, the computer seeks a sales representative who is not occupied at that time and connects the call. If all of the sales reps are on calls, the consumer hears dead silence. These are "abandoned calls."
If you are receiving many abandoned calls a day, you can call the annoyance department of your local phone company and ask that a Trap be placed on your line. In extreme situations, the phone company might be willing to contact the offending telemarketer and request that your phone number be place on its "do not call" list. If the repeated calls are from a malicious individual who is harassing you rather than a telemarketer, the phone company will report the number to law enforcement as described in the beginning of this guide.
California Public Utilities Code 2875.5 requires telemarketers to limit abandoned calls to fewer than 1% of their total call volume. For information visit www.leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html.

I got a call from this number, as soon as I realized that they were trying to sell me something, I told them that I was on the 'Do Not Call' list, and that I was filing a report with donotcall.gov.

Benn getting daily calls for weeks from this number. No voice, just hangs up. I called my carrier AT&T wireless and was told it was not one of their customers. I read on another site that it may be a T-Mobile number. Let's call them to report it: 1-800-866-2453. If enough of us call they might do something.

These people keep calling and when I answer they don't identify themselves and they ask for a particular person, whom I am not, they just hang up. REMOVE 909-981-7245 from the phone list.
