This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

This IS a scam, there isn't any law firm in California by that name also no lawyers listed under Jennifer Long or Jennifer Young  TOTAL SCAM

Forgot to add she says in her broker English. She's calling from Law Offices of Jennifer Ross, and she's is unable to disclose any information. I have to call back and talk to her boss??

They're at it again. This time from a 213-330-2180. Exact same scenario! They put like $.03 in my account. I contacted my bank they said no other activities noted from this person. So now they're filing a lawsuite against me for $.03 ? Really! I'm going to call them and record the call and find out where they sit! Oh, I have Police contacts in CA. It's so personal now!!

The law firm he stated to me was Jennifer Ross of California.  I have gotten a call from them at work and was threatened that i was going to be arrested at my job.  He stated his name was Kevin Peterson.

I received a call from this number and another before they each have the same speech and you can tell that they are reading it. The woman that called me last night and 8 am EST from the PST number was named Michelle Lewis by way of some middle eastern country and told me I should call with my lawyers information.  I don't know if they called my job, but the have called my house and my father told them I no longer live there and they stopped, but that's when the new cell phone calls started last night. I am not sure where they bought our info from, but I applied for a payday loan and paid it off asap from CashNet USA. I also know I will never get another payday loan as long as I live. The other number that called me was 707-780-3010 names given were Brian Adams and Peter something Burg or Burke I think.

They called to tell me of a law suit and to call a law office (which was the same # as the caller ID)

I recieved a voicemail at 6:00am this morning from the phone number 626-384-3257. It was a women threatening me about money I supposibly owed. I call the number back and a guy answers the phone. The guys says that I stole money from USA cash advance and that I need to pay back the $300 loan plus $427 in late fees and attourney fees. I told him I never applied for a loan nor did I take anything. He told me that I would be arrested and would lose my job if I didnt pay the money back immediately. When I began to ask him more questions about this loan, he gets angry and hangs up. I called him back and the same guy answers the phone. I then began to try to get more info and then he says good luck with whatever happens to you! and hangs up again. I then arrive to work and a women from the same number was calling my work phone. I then answer it and she begins to say the same thing. I told her someone already called me about this and the information they had was false. She told me not to interupt her and that I would be going to jail. I said who do I need to talk to about this false info. She gives me a womens name which was Sarah Wood and gave me the same number she just called me from. I talk to my police officer freind and we tried to call them back and of course the voicemail box was full. LIARS and THIEVES! Dont give them any info and block their number.

I keep getting phone calls from 626-384-3257. They called my work number and left a message with my coworker and they said that it was a legal matter. I received two phone calls this morning and they just sit on the phone without saying anything. I called back and after the phone kept ringing, someone finally picked up the phone and asked me what was my case number. I asked him what was my case number and I said I do not have any idea what you are talking about. He said that he would send some one out to arrest me. The man that picked up the phone was a foreigner, and then I told the man that i was going to report the call and he hung up the phone.

i can relate to u all they took bits and pieces out of amost of ur things they said it to me. his name was robert  then when i called he said his name was kevin. i would listen so he hung up. i called back he kept haning up on me. he call me an f bi***. then told me the sheriffs office was coming. so i called my local police station.

I keep getting calls from (626) 384-3257 stating that they are from a federal department and stating that I am in trouble because someone is using my credentials. I as I begin to question them then I get hung up on. This pissed me off!!!! Then had the nerve to call me back at 7:30pm but I wouldn't answer. I received a call from these people at my work and on my personal cell. They gave me the same BS story about owing for a payday loan I never received. I think I would notice money from a company I never heard of just suddenly appearing in  my check account. I asked for the BAR number for Jennifer Ross whicjh of course he would not give. I than told him I never received any funds and he called me a liar and said I would be arrested.

After doing thids search I found these posts and called him back from a diffrent number. As soon as they answered I started with. My name and this call is being recorded and it was. They ignored what I was saying ny humming. What idiots!

I received a call from these idiots also. I informed them that I did not receive any funds from any payday company. That I would report them and that their is not any attorney Jennifer Ross as a member of the CA or NV bars. So Bring it on!!! You A** Holes

I received the same call today right at 7:00 am. It's the same situation, but I kept calling back telling them how do you like to be harassed. lol I also told him that was was reporting him to the FBI and he said so F&*%$#@ care and hung up on me. I did contact my local FBI office and the agent said if they get more complaints and information they will press this issue harder.

I have chase bank & i saw these charges from an ilender. I called them & disputed them the charges were for 30.00 almost instantly did the same thing happen to me. I guees when the money had to be returned I got these calls saying i was going to be "arrested" ugh this is sickening

Keep getting calls form this number saying i will be aarrested if i don't go to walmart purchase a 500.00 prepaid visa (not activated) & call them back so i can resolve my issue. A woman named Lonia Lopez called my home and my job stating that there was charges filed against me in california,and that i need to have my lawyer's office contact them right away,and if i didn't there would be lots of bad things to come to me,they call nearly everyday.

After stopping a fraudulent transaction from ILender Assistance to my checking acct. I receive a call from a person calling from 626-384-3257 stating they where calling from the Law offices of Jennifer Ross and there was a law suit against me for fraud, that I needed to give them my attorneys information. I was not allowed to interrupt him during what sounded like his scripted rendition of my charges.  I contacted my attorney and reported this to my local FBI satellite office. I also changed my banking information so that this hopefully this wont happen again.

this same thing happened to me i am stressed they stated that they area going to arrest me and what not and i haven tdone anything wrong wtf !?

I got 5 calls from this number with and hour so i decided to pick up. was told that there was a federal case against me and that I need to contact Darren Peterson at the exact same number. Of course I freaked called the number and go no where. Looked it up here and...I called my phone carrier and the put a block on it. I am also filing a complete as I am on the national DO not call registry

i also was recieving those calls so i called the local police department and asked what to do. They said to goon the atorney generals website for my area and get on the no call list and then they are not allowed to call anymore their number will be monitored .Pass the information on to all who are having a problemwith these calls.

I have had three different people of these scammers call me...twice at my job. The first time they called they told me I had three felony charges against me and if I didnt not pay I would go to jail.
