I am also on the DNCL yet somehow they get past the rules and call anyway. I did submit a complaint to DNCL, just wonder if they really every do anything to these jerks. When I tried to ask them a question they hung up on me.

Received call from this number. Do not know anyone in this area code. They did not leave a message. We are on "Do Not Call" list and have received several calls like this for over a month now. What good does the do not call list do?

Got a call today from this #. I dont recognize a #, I save it like this Z dont answer...in many different variations. Z d answr, Zno, nt ths 1, etc. This way they are all at the bottom of save list and doesnt interfere with my regular save list.....

No, just got a call on home phone...I got my first text telemarketer today on my cell. Both are on the DNC list...doesn't seem to matter anymore.

Thought I would answer one of the calls from 626-521-5581. Told them I was on the DNCL and they said I'd filled out a survey online and listed my cell phone as the contact. Um, NO! I never list my cell phone on anything. Never. Only my family and very close friends even know I have a phone. Told them to remove my number from the calling list and add it to the do not call list. It seems these people are only calling cell phones?

Got a call today. Never answer if I don't know the number. Seriously, people, stop bitching about being on the do not call list - it's a complete joke. Even if it works for valid numbers, scammers are not going to abide by it. They're already trying to scam you, which is illegal - why would they bother with a non-binding phone list?

It's a "You won $1600 for trip to Cancun" scam, with option to press "3" to opt out. I foolishly did press 3 the other day, which probably verified my number. They just called back now. How do I make them stop?
