Just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  The shutdown seems to have embolded these scum as they think they will not be reported when the FTC and FCC sites come back online.  Everyone PLEASE keep track of these calls and report then when the sites come back up!!!!!!

Mike, Mike, Mike - You are spending WAY too much time trging to deal with these criminals.

Simply buy a call blocking phone or device - that's the ONLY way you can stop these calls!  You can file reports to the FBI, CIA, BLUE CROSS, RED CROSS until you are blue in the face.

Nothing will be done since these folks are criminals that change numbers and business names frequently.

Spend $100 and buy the Panasonic phone (Costco) or the Digitone (Amazon) device - THEY WORK!!!

Got the robo-call and answered knowing full well that it was a scam.  Pressed 1 and played along with the lady who answered.  Gave her a bunch of misleading information and she finally hung up on me.  RUDE, i TELL YOU!

Have blocked their future calls (to my home) with my new Panasonic phone that blocks 250 numbers.  Now days, I look forward to "talking" with telemarketers.  

For my business line, I have the DIGITONE CALL BLOCKER - the best $100 I ever spent.  The Digitone blocker not only blocks individual numbers, it can and does BLOCK ENTIRE AREA CODES - the best thing since sliced bread and free porn on the internet!

Currently, I have 44 area codes blocked and it's getting quiet around here except for the legitimate calls.

Nether my office lines nor my home line rings when a blocked call comes in.

Buy a call blocking phone or device and you can spend more time on the internet...if you get my drift.

This creep called me too, a few days ago, with a phony air duct cleaning deal for $39.95. I, just like those above, knew this was impossible at that price. He called himself Mark. I told him I'd get back to him. Right after putting down the phone, I Googled the number, and got your comments above. On top of that, I also Googled his 800 254 2904, and guess what I found...the link led to an ad on Craigslist, advertising for telemarketers for Mark's "room" (=boiler room, a term for fraudulent call centers). The callback number was the above 800 one. This proves that this shyster had been recruiting telemarketers recently (the ad is dated 9/3). My next step was to 1)fill out a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry; and 2)make a report on the Federal phone fraud website, notifying them about the call and to go after the boiler room.
He then called me again today, so I put up a SECOND complaint on the Registry. I have a feeling that someone's going to take him down soon.

A man who said his company name is "Air Quality" called from 626-544-5535, caller ID is CARPET PRO. I spoke with him; he said his name is "Sam", located in Pasadena, with office in Chatsworth (only when I said I lived in Northridge...NOT!).  His accent is most definitely Israeli. He said they have been in business  for 5 years. He gave his call back number as 877-254-2904.
THIS IS A SCAM! YOU CANNOT CLEAN AN ENTIRE HOUSE'S VENTILATION SYSTEM FOR $39.99.  DON'T BE TAKEN FOR A FOOL BY THIS.
There is no listing for this scammer with the California Secretary of State.
Phone number is listed as being based in Alhambra, CA.
The Los Angeles Better Business Bureau has multiple F reports for companies like this, including one called "Quality Air Duct" in Canoga Park.  That owner's name is Jonathan.
Here is a typical complaint:

Summary: Quality Air Duct, Inc. claimed to clean our air ducts, but actually just vacuumed the outside of the furnace and ran a shop vac for 45 minutes.

Resolution Sought: We have cancelled the check. We would like them to refund our $27 bank service fee.

Detail: They quoted $10 per duct on the phone, but then claimed that it would be an additional $175 to clean the furnace itself because we don't have an attic. This seemed nonsensical at the time, but I deferred to the technician thinking he knew what he was talking about. Then he told me that he could clean the entire two story house by snaking a hose from the furnace unit. It appeared that he inserted the hose of a regular shop vacuum into the primary duct. Then he insisted that I not watch due to the 'fumes'. So I went downstairs while he talked loudly on his cell phone for half an hour. We have inspected several ducts since they left, and discovered that none have been cleaned. They are still dirty. There are several positive Google reviews online for Quality Air Duct, Inc. I suspect they have been planted there by the management.

I don't know how many of these scam calls I've gotten from these jerks.  I'm to the point where I'm trying to be as insulting and obscene as possible before they hang up, just so they enjoy the call as much as I do.

SHADY Carpet cleaning and Air Duct cleaning TELEMARKETER that if you make an appointment today will throw in the FREE dryer lint cleaning too. NEVER identified a company name states the tech that shows up will have all that information. Sounds like the scam just to get into your home and see what they can steal when you leave.

Robo call... message started while outgoing message was running, so just "1 to make an appointment or 8 to be removed from the list" ... no way will I pick up.  Why would I want to let them know that they have a "live" number?  Scum.

Thanks for leaving your note. Just got a fake call from them. The problem now is that these telemarketing scams are spoofing numbers, so there's no way to block every single fake number out there.  Ridiculous. Waste of their time and mind.
