Called and left a message that consisted of a female voice saying "Goodbye".  Lame.

two things you can do.
1. Make an appointment and have them come out to your home. Get their business card and ask for their contractor number, Then Tell them that you are offering a $10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of any telemarketer that calls your number, see it they want to make some easy money being a witness in a law suit.
2. Do as above but tell them that if you get another call, you'll make them disappear in the desert..

Whichever option you use, you have to follow up either by filing a law suit against them or .....

Yeah, they call regularly.  Today, it was not dead air for the first time in a long time.  I guess they hired more people for their boiler room.

Someday, we'll get control of our phones again when these sleazeball telemarketing companies start earning a living WITHOUT annoying innocent people who will never buy their products anyway.

And here they are in 2014 still calling on a regular basis.  I never answer, so why don't they just give up.  Aggravating morons.

Another call... again!  Wish I could get their number and call them at home... every hour on the hour.  

Called me today at 8:05 AM.  Calls repeatedly, never leaves a message.  Am reporting to FCC since DNC is inactive.

This number comes up at least once aday ! I tell them I reported them and they still call back !

Calls me continuously.  Very annoying.

It must be the day for hitting my area. Another caller, same prefix and area code just called prior to these guys. I was reading from a few users and was online signing up for youmail when these guys called. Verizon charges for the same thing. Apparently I can block for free on youmail.com . Since call forwarding is free on my account I can't sign up fast enough.

this telemarketer called 3x one right after another - typical hang ups when I pick up or I hear a lot of background noise then they hangup so I can't even tell them DO NOT CALL.

I'll let you know how it goes. I look forward to blocking or ditching these boiler rooms with some sarcastic or profane answering messages

Your solution is much better than mine!  I just pick up the phone and lay down the received so they can hear various noises...  such as a murder scene from The God Father, gas-passing noises, the love making scene from Monster's Ball. Maybe I'll call your numbers and play the same thing.  Or tell the caller I have a friend who is interested and 3-way call to one of your numbers....

They specialize in shoddy & incomplete home repairs, dumping used motor oil onto roofs and driveways, etc., etc.

Others in the group do body and fender work on vehicles

Spoofed phone numbers began as 000-000-0000, but got better with time, including calls from Mali and Dominican Republic.

Credit card interest scams and other forms of thievery have been added along the way.

My CPR call blocker keeps most calls out now, but this number hadn't been programmed yet.

14x my service shows they have tried to ring through. This operation has been calling me since early this year. I have them blocked with a this number is out of service. They bombard my phone several calls all at once I am guessing to test to see if I have a Do Not Disturb block on. I quit telling them a long time ago not interested, DONOTCALL list, filed, etc. Time to report them AGAIN.

I would LOVE to block these annoying calls (who in the world would allow a cold-caller into their home to do renovations anyway).  Never had to block a number before.  How would I do that?
