i got a call that said my bud commited a crime in my name.i am a xcop in mo. and so is my bud so i went to local P.D and had my name ran then i made a report on this number that will be sent to mo.ag.this person pick the wrong number to jack with.

FCC is the one in charge of all telecommunications.  FTC is for consumers.  Federal Trade Commission.

Should be calling the FTC at 877-385-4357

Report it to the local police department in your area and also to the state AG and FCC.  These should be stopped.  It is the same person only different number.  So report this to FCC and tell them the phone numbers that has been calling and harassing you.

Just got this and the guy called himself Jon Williams and that I'm part of a p&c file.

I reported this to our local police department.  And the calls stopped from this number but I got a call from another number that sounded like this person.  He said his name is Charles Brown.  This is fraud and these guys must be stopped.  Report this incident right away to your state Attorney General and the FCC.

I received a telephone call at work from Officer Ron Williams. The note also contained the phone number 626-789-0158, and had the words "Check Fraud" on it. Now I don't owe anyone, and I seldom ever use the checkbook. I plan on taping all calls from this person and number, and my co-workers also have the capability to do so for me. It is against the law to call and release so-called information about one to others in your workplace. Big-time screwup on their part. They are also bordering the "impersonation of an officer" by using the name "Officer". They can officer the toilets here at my place of employment. Anyway I have been taping my conversations with these "officers". My attorney is ready to go into action against these clowns.
If yoiu get calls at work - Either you or your employer must inform collectors of the "no call policy". This can be verbally or in writing (the FDCPA supports verbal notification). Once informed, any additional calls to your work place violates the FDCPA and opens the collector up to a lawsuit.
So remember, once you tell them not to call......they can't call. Doing so opens them up to a lawsuit.

Call of you who unknowingly get calls from this offshore Indian Call Centers, report them to your local police.  Then tell your phone company how call trace works.  Once you have an incident report, do the call trace everytime you get harassing phone calls.  Report them to the FTC and your stat Atty. General.  Consumers have rights and if this is a real debt collector he will not be threatening you.  Do not be intimidated.  This fraud has been around since 2008 I believe and they have the same scheme.

So the name is now Charles Brown not Jason Stone.  First what you need to do is call your phone company and ask about call trace and they will   tell that you have been getting these harrassing phone calls.  Also contact your local police and get an incident report.  Once you have call trace the calls go straight to the police.  This happened to me, the calls at work never stopped.  Do not be intimidated by this guys.  These are computer generated calls from India.  If you can report this to the FBI so something must be done about these offshore call centers in India.  That is where they get all our information.  Do it now you do not need a lawyer.  You need a legal advice.  I consulted a lawyer and he told me that it is fraud.  They cannot threaten you.

Report that harrassing phone call to your police department.  Then call your telephone company to make a trace call they will give you instructions on how to do this.  Report this to the FTC.  They are offshore from India.  Report it also to the state Atty. General's Office.

I got call from this person Charles Brown at work, he said I am being suied, I told him to send me the paper work and not to call me anymore.  He then called my Mother and brother. And left a detailed message for my boss WTF- My boss told me to get a lawyer.  Doug- can I have your lawyer's number

They called me and said i needed to pay one of my debts or else they are going to call the police dept and have me picked up by the police? They did not speak English very well. asked me weird question and would not support any documentation!!!! I am still a little freaked out. I dont want cops coming to my work and picking me up?

that she is an attorney by the name of jenny smith and if I don't pay 889.45 I will be charged with fraud,theft,and something about check writing.said I have to fax her this letter saying I authorize her to debit my account 889.45 dollars to avoid going to prison what do I do. said she was calling for insta cash usa.

Called and left message asking to speak to Sam somebody,......I could not make out the last name.
Stated that this Sam's  buddy was in trouble for some kind of fraud and gave my number to reach this Sam.  Said if Sam did not call back he could also be held liable for the fraud.  When I  called to state they were calling a wrong number.....that no Sam lived here and I did not know this person. , they asked me how long I had this phone number.  I stated over 5 years.  They stated they would cross me off their list  They were some financial business place and that it was a police officer that left the message.  I thought the person I was talking to sounded like the person that left the message.  Both

I just received a call today telling me he was an officer Kaven Thomas  from the united states legal outfit something or other, threatining to sue me for an online loan that I never made he was very pushy and rude and told me to get a lawyer well I guess he was surprised when my lawyer contacted him about the matter she said he was rude to her not wanting to give up any information and she told me it was a big scam no to worry about it I just dont see how these people sleep at night... p.s. he also had an accent!!!!!

I got a call on my cell phone from"officer Vin Carter" with the thickest foreign accent so I already knew something was up, so I called and heard other accents in the background saying to callers "can you give me your name please?" BIG TIME SCAM!!!!!!!!

They called me today at wok and was yelling to my manager.   He threatened me about the danger that my family will face.

I got the same message from a Jason Stone telling me to fax an authorization so I can pay the Two Hundred Dollars .  He wants me to give out my SSN and my birthday and also a photo copy of my ID.He cannot give me an address to send the money to or the orginal loan document.
