I got the same phone call and he is Chinese not Indian.....lol

Just received the infamous phone call, they left a message. I have heard thick Indian accents before, but wow, this wasn't even English. I really want to call them back and play with them. What a scam!

A man called here today representing his self as being a officer Harry Anderson from Anderson Law firm. And threaten that he is sending his officers to have my wife arrested in 45 minutes. The number he call from is 626-888-4693. He claimed that he brought a debt from a company that loaned us some money. But the company he named say that he is a known faud and that is they did not sell any debt off to this Anderson firm. Am now reporting this to the The BBB & AG. Beware of this kind of activity.

I received the same call from this number as well. It freaked me out because they had all my information and knew the loan that i defaulted on. I called the collection agency to see if they were taking action and they said it was a scam and that some how that idiot hacked into their system and got information out...something needs to be done and fast this does not make any sense

Got a call from this number asking for an employee. Informed him he'd have to contact individual at home. Told me he was an officer, asked to pass on a message. When asked if he was a police officer he told me no.  He was with Anderson Law Firm. After finding the number was from CA (we are in OH) I informed employee about it, suggested he report it.

Pay Loan Payment Fraud Scam
On Wednesday July 27, 2011 I received a voicemail message from an Officer Michael Jones from Anderson Law Firm.  His message advised that my social security # came up in their database.  He further added that a lawsuit was being filed against me, and I needed to call him back as soon as possible at 626-888-4693 to discuss the matter or there would be extreme legal recourse.  So, I attempted to contact this Officer Michael Jones back at 804-781-7998 because that was the phone # that appeared on my caller id.  When I called that # I received the recording stating ?Welcome to Magic Talk, please enter the Magic Talk # you are trying to dial.  Next, I dialed the phone # 626-888-4693 that this Officer Michael Jones left on my voicemail to contact him at.  I received a recording stating ?this is the Anderson Law Firm, and all Associates are busy at this time. ? ?Please leave your name and number and a brief message and someone will get back to you.  A man with a thick foreign accent returned my call immediately and advised he was an investigator that has been assigned to a case that involved a lawsuit against me in the amount of $505 plus interest and late payments.  He further stated that the lawsuit is actually for $4000 plus attorney charges.  At first, he was reluctant to tell me what the case was in reference to, but I would not   back down.  This Officer Michael Jones told me that I had an outstanding pay loan of $500 that was never paid.  Ironically that was true.  However this guy started threatening to have FBI come to my house and take me to their local headquarters to investigate me.  I got so upset and hooked from this call due to I had been going through major financial trouble where I had a Chapter 13 dismissed because the payments were beyond what I could afford.  In fact some pay loans were included in that filing.  Although much of what the guy was stating sounded insane, I found it odd that he would know about any pay day loan I had that was in default.  This weird harassing guy actually demanded I go to a Wal-Mart and purchase a Money Pack for $500 and call him back within an hour or I was going to be picked up by FBI, they were going to show me the letter for the debt, and they were going to take me down to the Bureau.  I advised the guy that I do not have any money, I recently became unemployed, and I need more time to look into this matter.  He then demanded either I pay the $500 with a Wal-Mart Money Card in an hour or have my attorney contact him.  My next course of action was to consult an attorney because this sounded too crazy for a civil debt that was previously in a bankruptcy.  I called this Officer Jones back at 626-88-4693, and got the same recording again.  Officer Jones called back.  I stated to him I was going to consult an attorney and had no problem taking the matter to court.  Then this so called Officer Jones from Anderson Law Firm threatened to have his people working for the FBI come to my home in 45 minutes to have me sent to jail for 3 months if I do not have my attorney present for him to speak with.  
I started to take action by contacting attorneys.  A few attorneys told me that was illegal, a scam, and abusing collection power.  I was referred to one attorney to file a case against this so called Officer Michael Jones.  Although I was still suspicious, I decided to reopen my bankruptcy case to protect me from any legit creditors.  I found out from my attorney?s office that there have been complaints from others in our local area that received the same types of threats. After 6pm I decided to Google this 626-888-4693, only to find that the harassing phone calls and treats were indeed a scam.  These sick people even tried to scare an old blind woman.  I would like this information reported and investigated.  I do intend to pursue legal action against these indentify theft hackers.

This same guy called me today and cursed at me and told me that he was going to have the police come to my job within 45 mins.  He also told me that my manager was going to kick my a$$!!  This guy is very rude and ignorant!!  He could not give me any info as to what this was about and he called my job several times.  I was very upset by this as he could have put my job in jeopardy by calling there.  This guy or company needs to be stopped!!!

Got a phone call from a man stating that it was a legal emergency that I call this number.  When I called the number I was told that his company Anderson Law Firm bought a payday loan and that the FBI was coming to my job to arrest me and that I would no longer be able to work at my job.

I just received a call from this number at my work telling me that I was beeing suit and the guy claimed to be MR. Office Jones csack 361 this is the batch number that he gave.  From the Anderson Law Firm when I began to ask more questions he couldn't answer any of my questions. Has anyone been able to get to the bottom of this?

Yea I recieved a call from this number looking for my husband; they even called his job too; threatened that he will not have his job tomorrow and hung up!

i am writing this mess for my mother inlaw who is blind she received a kphone call early this mornis 7am, he said he office walker stateing that he was from a law office threaten me that better pay some money or he was gonnahave her arrested for fraud, i am blind , what do we do

Same thing happen to me and the funny thing is that they tried to disguise their phone number by using a number similair to mine. The so called officers name was Michael Jones, but he had a very strong Indian accent. I guess they think that they can scare us into paying them for something that we havent done.

I called them back and told them that my lawyer had advised me that this was a scam and he told me to be at my house and that in 45 minutes there would be an officer there to pick me up.

I also got a call in Florida at 7:30 in the morning. He said he was from the State Attorney Office in California. (keep in mind, it wouldve been 4:30 AM over there) He said there was a lawsuit in california against me. When I asked for the info and told him to stop scripting and hurry up he got mad at me and wanted an apology. I started in with him, barely gettin a word in, stating that its before 9 am it illegal to call me, and wanted a manager. He said he was the manager. I hung up, and my phone rang NON-STOP for 40 minutes afterward. Some indian a***ole.

I got a call from this person at my job! He left a message saying that he was Officer Harry Jones with Anderson Law firm, there has been a law suit filed against me and that I needed to respond as soon as I recieved his message. Mind you for the last month or so I have been receiving phone calls from this same person with a heavy accent. Mind you I am in North Carolina.  Thank you so much for this information it is very helpful to know that he is running a scam.

yea i got a call from this guy and just hung up on him when he was telling me i was being charged with money laundering and fraud and all kinds of wierd s*** and i thought it was funny considering im broke well then he call back and leaves a message saying the cops will be here in 45 min. after reading some of these i decided to mess with him so i called him back and apologized told him my phone lost reception, i then started asking him question like whats his address and thing like that told him why is he in california and im in texas and hes calling me. he said dont worry just pay and you wont do time and if you dont pay your going to do seriouse time. i then told him i am 6 foot 4 280 lbs and have already done 10 years in federal prison and told him if he called me one more time i will come find him . he quickly said sorry for bothering me

I got two phone calls from this number in the past two days, saying that i had a pending lawsuit and if i try to run, they are going to find me. this is a scam. dont answer their calls or give out your information,

He called my nephew with all of his personal info...loan extension scam...now I call him... to harass him!  I have reported to all of the authorities needing to be told.  Now I relieve my stress by unleashing on this #.  Hey, what can they do?!  Get me for harassment?  Yes, but not without admitting their criminal acts first!!!  I don't think prison is a good swap for me getting a slap on the wrist!!! LOL  Lets fight back!!!  BTW, Its Anderson Law Firm (also notified this legitimate law firm) , "Officer Walker" is who calls and will pick you up for a civil matter and charge you criminally IF you don't pay!!!  Maybe they need to educate themselves on the United States legal system before scamming ppl!!!  Can't get charged criminally UNLESS its criminal!!!  Drr Dr DRRRR.  Maybe if we fight back...non violently...(never know, some are over zealous)...we can make ppl think twice about how gullible we are!!  Lets live up to the accused "American Demeanor" .. aren't we arrogant, power hungry, don't care what we take or who we hurt ppl?  Even though we know we aren't that because you can't categorize an entire raise of a few ppl...we still need to stand up for wrong doing!   Civil movements...the true historical moments!!  I Yes, I know this isn't as awesome as those, but...hey,,,you gotta start somewhere!!!

Insane they have my work number called and left me a message at 6:45 am.  So I called them back and he said he was agent Daniel Walker and the same thing lawsuit against my name and ssn# so he asked for my attorneys name and number I said NO I will have my attorney call YOU.  I did state to this gentleman(well not so gentleman-very rude) that he was calling a Government Agency and that this was a recorded line-he abruptly hung up.  I called him back and told him I was speaking and that is was very rude and he replied "what" so I continued with do not call me at work anymore and he said he'd be calling my manager.  And again I told him this is a Government Agency and there is no manager but my attorney would be calling him back and he again hung up.  Well we shall see if he ever calls back.

Give him a taste of ignorance!  He won't take my calls now.  Fight back...they don't like it!  Plus report to the BBB, file a local police report...AND submit it online to the FBI.  Most importantly, don't forget to annoy them!!!  BTW, anyone claiming you owe money...the only thing you tell them is mail it and you will review it.  If they ask for your address, then they are SOL. But if they already have it...research them and do the steps above...report it!

A guy just called with a heavy accent saying that he was from Anderson Law Firm and that there is a lawsuit against my name.  When asked, he could not give me any information but he knew some of my personal info.  The guy got pissed when I told him that it was a scam and to not call me any more.

Same thing happened here. Guy called with an indian accent? saying his name was John Smith then changed it to something else. Scam!

number calls saying he is from a law firm and is pressing charges and is also working with the FBI. he goes on to say they will b there in 45 minutes! Scam! Stupid f****ace
