Received a call today from this number. I attempted to return the call as no message was left. Just got a busy signal. I looked up the number here and immediately pulled an unofficial copy of my drivers record. While the citation shows, it also shows my conviction date (the date the ticket was paid) and nothing after that. There are no failure to appears or anything like that so I think this is a scam. I will be calling the courthouse to confirm as well as the cops to file a police report.

I have asked them to be removed from their call list. They say it is an urgent business matter with my husband. I did some research and found out they collect for unpaid tickets. My husband has not received any tickets other than  "fix it" tickets for tinted windows and no front license plate. He has a commercial drivers license, so if he had an unpaid ticket, I'm sure it would show up on DMV records.

This is a SCAM call from the collection agency arm of your friendly, dumb as a stick, California Courts for fines collection on a ticket. Here's the SCAM....you pay a ticket, in full, then 2 years later they come back and say you owe the money. Then you are required to show proof you paid. Which I have. I was getting 3 calls a week from these a**les...LA, Pasadena and Houston. They told me they were researching it and to call back in a week. And yup, came back as unpaid. I faxed them proof, cashiers check, signed delivery rcpt and proof of check cashed. Ok....except "they couldn't find the fax".......so I went back to the traffic ticket line, another 4 hours wasted, showed the clerk, another Dumbo, PROOF that this 2 year old ticket, talking on a cellphone (yeah, a real crime...whatever...)Had been PAID! So he slowly saundrrs over to the GS services deask...and whatdoyaknow...It was paid!! He said they would never call again. EXCEPT.....they still call!!! Are these people stupid or what?!!? I am about redy to lodge a complaint with a judge and sue them for harrasement.....just for Sport!!! Its a stupid $160 ticket!!! All PAID!! I know they are hoping to catch any fool in in California to pay twice. This State is sooooooo Screwed UP!!!

I have been receiving calls for the past few weeks from this number, the GC Services phone number (800-727-5848) and a few other numbers for a ticket that I currently paying on. However, when this "Mr. Mark" calls (early in the morning by the way!), he leaves a message I can barely understand telling me to call 1-800-352-3755. So one day I called 1-800-352-3755 and it was a sex hotline! Ridiculous!

I used to mail checks to the address provided on the GC Services invoice because I didn't feel comfortable giving them my information over the phone which they could never seem to fully verify. But it's better to check with the court about any fees that you owe, even if it has gone to a collection agency.

Got a call from this number today from a Mrs. Acosta - said it was important I call back. They did not say why, but after reading this site I'm assuming it's about a traffic ticket I got years ago and am still working on paying. Recently, I called GC Services to find out which tickets I still have on my account. Coincidence this number calls me that same week.

I got a call for this number (626) 962-1074. They left a message that had an important personnel message. Please return a call back to an 800#. A person answered the phone did not say Helllo just

Then asked for my phone number and I did give it to her. Then she said not sure why they called me not in the system...
I thought this was so strange I called back again. This time I gave them my last name and she said I had
an unpaid parking ticket. This ticket was over 8 years old. I have recently checked all my DMV records there is no parking ticket unpaid. You are only required to keep finncial records 7 years. They know that most people can not dispute this since records do not go back that far. All I can tell you do not ever give personnel information over the phone. Drivers license number they can write checks with this information.
The DMV if they contracted a third party to collect debt then they would have your information not asking you for it.

It cracks me up i have found a few websites about this number, and every time someone says anything half way good about them the name used it mike. Every single website has the name mike and he always says something good about them or to call them and get it fixed. Pretty sure "mike" is one of them. Trying to scam people some more.

I got a call for a ticket that I thought I had paid 2years ago. I looked online for the court houses in Kings County and called them to figure this thing out. They did though call the collectors and they are legit but horrible to deal with. I asked what happened to my money order that I had sent and they told me that it was voided by the courts because my case had already been sent to collections, and that it wasn't their problem and I needed to pay. After talking with the court I do have to pay even though my ticket has almost doubled now and I am out the money that was on the money order. Major crap, but instead of paying them directly I am using pay pal to pay them that way I have a paper trail, downside, everytime I try to fill out the info, my computer freaks out. Any thoughts?

Received phone call from some collection agency demanding that I pay 600.00. The young dimwitted fool behind the phone call had no verbal skills. He was very disrespectful and angry. Funny thing is that modern technology allow you to see caller and address...

i paid off that GC services place and got my license back and now 10 years later theyre saying i owe more money....what the f*** is that...i ask any questions and they hang up on me...they said theyll garnish my wages and suspend my license lol....who cares, theyll spend the amount they say i owe to get all that done  haha....now i see why theyre trying to say i owe more money, theyre broke lol...they actually asked where i work...um your moms? and the phone number is whatever you call to get a hold of your mom lol

If you have any unpaid parking or any kind of citations they put all of that on your registration I had that happen to me I went to register my car and all the parking tickets, were there so I had to pay them before I could register my car so for someone to say they are collecting for the court sounds like a bunck of BS besides you can always call the court regarding the matter,

Hay theses folks are crooks but they can suggest that your license be suspended if you do in deed have an outstanding ticket the State of California has resorted to som low stuff to get their money but all you need do is visit the county court house and pay only what you owe not their fees ect
Or better yet have a Lawyer write a letter on your behalf this will shut them up

I got a call from this number a couple of days ago.  The message had the sounds of someone typing on a computer then a guy said "Ahh, hello?" then hung up.  Today I got another call and they guy did not identify himself (major law breaker) and did not pronounce my last name right.  He just said to call a 1-800 number back.  I am not calling.

I talked to my Attourny today about this collection agency... It is for an unpaid ticket, however he also found out, you do have a right to go to the court to have the amount reduced... There is over 700% markup from the origional ticket amount... ALSO... there is nothing they can do as far as your licence and car, if the issuer of the ticket such as the city or county it was issued in has the right to do that... They can take back any tax return you may get IF they get a judgment to do so...

I just got a call from this number 12-26-08.  They said they were collecting for a ten year old ticket that I'm sure I paid off.  I asked if they could give me a call next week after the holiday weekend to discuss.  She was very rude and told me this was my last chance to resolve the issue and that she would not be calling back and that they would be notifying the court that I was unwilling to resolve this issue.  Then I got angry, asked to speak to her supervisor, then waited on hold for about ten minutes.  She finally returned to the line and informed me that her supervisor was busy and could not come to the phone.  I asked for a call back from him but that also was not going to happen.  I let her know that I was not about to give out any of my bank information without some sort of correspondence, account number, etc... so I could cross-check w/the court.  She then got very nasty, I told her off and hung up.  I will definately be researching this with the county court house next week.

This number is for GC Services a collection agency used by various city/municipalities for collecting old/unpaid traffic tickets.  They cannot suspend your drivers license.  Only the department of motor vehicles (in california) can do that.  They cannot tow your vehicle, but the cops that pull you over for driving on a suspended license can and may.  They do not buy dept from city/municipalities like some collection agencies.  They collect the full amount that the city/municipality claims you owe and add a service fee.  Once the city/municipality turns the ticket over to them they claim you cannot negotiate the fee and can't go to court to talk to a judge.  I don't believe this is legal (in california) as it violates your right to due process under the law.  The debt/violation they're trying to may be so old that it's uncollectable.  Check with the court and dmv or who ever issues drivers licenses in your state.

I just got a call from this number. They left a message. Only used my first name and not my last. She said that she had urgent information for me sitting on her desk and that I should call the 800 number immediately. No way am I calling it back. Sounds very fishy!

This number is for GC Services a government collection agency for old/unpaid traffic tickets. Its not a telemarketer or solicitor. I suggest you call them back and take care of whatever the issue is immediately! I found out too late, my license had been suspended a year ago due to a fixit ticket that had not been cleared correctly. I got pulled over and had my car impounded because of this. MAJOR headache, CALL THEM AND GET IT FIXED!

this number called me talking about an unpaid traffic ticket from over 5 years ago. i told them that was paid off, and thats the reason why i was able to renew my liscence. i told them that they need to verify with the courts, and they said that they would call the courts and call me in a couple of weeks. this was very shady. she tried to make it sound like she was calling from a collection agency
