I picked up the phone and a recorded message said this was my last chance to lower my credit card interest rate. Well, phooey, I just blew my last chance!

Received a call from 1-629-000-8345, did not know who it was so I did not answer, they hung up and left no message.  I looked it up on google to find out other peoples responses.  I am not in debt so I do not know why they would be calling me.

Glad I found this sight and know I am not alone.  They told me they were from credit services and I told them that I was very happy with my current state of being.  Please do not call again--and hung up.  I have a feeling the scammers are very busy right now, trying to make a dishonest "buck."

Gust received a call from 629-000-8345. They wanted to reduce my credit card rates. They said they were Card Holder services. Then the next person said they were with Credit Card Management.
They lost interest when I told them that my inteest rate was 4%.

I tried to get off the list too and got someone that was extremely rude!

They called to supposedly lower the interest rate on my credit card.  I informed them that I am on the do not call list and they were in violation.  The guy called me an idiot and a moron and said I would be getting tons of calls now.  He refused to transfer me to a supervisor, obviously, and hung up.  GRRR!

I love google. I got home and looked @ the phone numbers who called cause I never answer the phone unless I recognize the number, and I thought who the heck is that, I'm gonna google it. Here I am trying to figure it out. I still don't know but I'm glad I didn't have to answer the phone. Woo hoo!!

no response from caller after answering telephone.  Is this a potential Modus Operandi by home burglar to determine if resident at home?

When the person called my house, he asked how much debt was on our credit cards and i asked him who he was before i answered that question (which of course i wasnt going to answer) and he said 'fine, be in debt then' and hung up the phone, in a VERY rude attitude. i tried calling the number back and it said that it wasnt a real phone number.
a***ole!

...shows 629-000-8345 to be an invalid phone number. I did not answer normally, I picked-up and set the phone down and heard nothing coming out as I looked-up 800Notes, usually you can hear someone saying hello-HELLO!!, who's there? but I got silenced...
