All telling me I have been approved for an auto loan!!  YIPPEE!!!!  Who applied for THAT!!????

thank you so much for this information!!!!  of course the 800 # was the only number I was able to reach a live person through.  As I continue to get these calls, I am just "blasting them"!!!!  ordering them NOT to contact me ever again!  the problem is that these numbers trace back to a "non-valid phone number"!  But, they do all give me the same company name!!  : )

We are getting multiple phone calls from Indian accent men and women stating they are calling us from Auto Finance Network about an auto loan we applied for.  We have never applied for a loan from this company and have repeatedly told them so.  They keep calling back every 10 minutes or so.  We have asked them for their phone number at which time they hang up and then someone else calls back a few minutes later.  We have tried cursing at them and they call back.  We are going to turn over all these phone numbers from this site to the Missouri Attorney General's office to see if they can help.

You either signed up for free beauty products or ecigs on line.  They then took your number and passed it off to their call center in India.   That's how they got your number.

Same thing here Nov 6 and Nov 5 all day long. Indian people calling about an auto loan. All different numbers hang ups and I'm sick of it. I'm ready to let the police know about this. It won't do any good they are not from this counrty more then likely I'm just going to have to wade it out.But I will let them know next time they call and trust me it won't be nice!

Received 4 calls within the last hour from a guy named Mike - Auto Finance Network. Asked for a phone number to call his company and gave me a phony number.

I received a call from "Emily" who had an Indian accent. She said I was Pre-approved for an auto loan. I said I didn't apply for a loan and asked for the company name. She said "Auto Finance Network" out of Brooklyn, NY and gave a phone number of 955-886-3942. However, she called from 929-399-3372 and 632-839-7669. I refused to confirm my social security number, told them I wasn't interested and to take my # off their list. I hung up and they called back twice from a non-valid # 1205. They have called before but I didn't answer and no message was left. This is harassment and possibly identity theft. Something should be done legally to protect consumers.

i received about 10 calls today from someone with an indian accent . the nubers were the same as yous michael. he said he was from auto finance network and wanted me to give him my birthday and address to confirm the loan inwhich i never applied for. the last three numbers were from 795-567-6239, 695-822-2765 and 461-233-6276. hopw can i stop them from calling me?

Is there anything that can be done about these harassing phone calls?

The past few days, I've been getting calls from "Auto Finance Network" (according to the people I've talked to). They all have Indian accents. Most hang up when I start asking questions. Once I asked for a supervisor and was told they didn't have any. I asked another where the company was located and was told New Jersey. The phone numbers are all listed as "Name Unknown" "Unknown Caller" etc. Calls have been from the following numbers:

an indian guy micheal jobs -  begged me for my social security number said he had my paperwork infront of him.  i applied for a loan 3 months ago and was denied.  he almost got me.  i verified some info but i told him socials wer privacy info and i do not give that out over the phone.  i insisted then --he asked me if there was something wrong with me as if i had the problem --the nerve!! catch these people and lock them up!!

This same thing has been happening to me for the last 3 or 4 days...8-18-11 to today 8-22-11.  Two days ago they called 20x in one day.  I was upset so I answered finally, waited for the person to answer, and then began to ask the name of the business and the phone number.  The Indian person on the other end hung up.  Unbelievable.  Now they are still calling me.

Just received a call from this number, I sent it to voicemail where no message was left.

I have gotten 3 calls so far today from this number.  When I call back it tells me that I need to look at the number cause its wrong.  What the hell is going on?

This number continuously calls my job number and when we answer no one says anything in return. They have called twice already today. This number needs to be reported.

These jerks called at 5:30 am this morning. That is illegal. They hung up before I could answer but if they call again they will regret it.

My phone is blowining up with 629-671-5112. what's the deal ?? is my phone being cloaned? who;s there??

I have recieved 3 calls today from this # all telling me that my loan is ready.  Total BS. Deffinetly a scam.

I have received numerous phone calls from numerous numbers since yesterday.  All callers have an Indian accent informing me that i have been approved for a car loan which i did not apply for.  In fact i just bought a car four months ago.  When i tell them i didn't apply for a loan, that i'm not interested, they are calling my cell phone, and to please remove me from whatever list they have, they hang up on me.  I have tried calling back to give them a piece of my mind and to insist i be removed from any list but i just get a busy signal.  I hope this isn't an indentity thing cause that would really piss me off.

JUST GOT A CALL, TOO; ASKED TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR LIST; DIDN'T ASK WHAT IT WAS ABOUT BUT VERY HEAVY INDIAN ACCENT AND MUSIC IN THE BACKROUND.

4 calls so far and they identify themselves as Auto Insurance Group.  How do we stop them?  I just listed with donotcall, and keep telling them to take me OFF this list.  How did I get on?

Just got this call...person with heavy Indian accent said his name was Steve from an Auto finance company calling to tell me I was approved for a car loan.  I told him I never applied for a car loan because I already have a perfectly working vehicle.  He said "okay ma'am" and hung up.  I have a call block app on my phone so this number will definitely be on the list along with 2 more.

It was an Indian guy who said that his name was Michael, and that he was calling from Auto Finance Network in New Jersey.  He said that my application for a car loan was approved, even though I haven't applied for any loans.  He tried to get me to verify my information.  When I asked him why he thinks that I have applied for a loan, or even to tell me my name, he said that their system was down, and that he couldn't give me that information right now.

I recieved 5 calls from 629-671-5112. No one was on the line

No one answered when I said hello, so I hung up.  Caller ID said Name not found.

got a call today from 629-671-5112 someone with Indian or Pakistany accent said my car loan had been approved. strange because i didn't apply for one

I have been receiving calls from 629-671-5112 all day today.  When I answer no one will answer me its just dead air.   So I hang up.  I have received 6 calls so  they are about two hours apart.   I have number in my phone as possible spam so I don't answer it.  When I call back the number it just sounds like a fog horn there is no message machine or anything.

Received a call from 629-671-5112 about 10:25 a.m.  No message was left then about 30 minutes later received another call from 421-781-8274 and when I answered a man with an accent said hello and then hung up.  Suspect this is a scam.

Some Indian lady. She didn't say anything and I was half asleep when I answered so I asked who it was. Shesaid someone from something. I said I'm not interested and hung up.
