Called at 7:40 pm for second time in 5 days.  I don't answer unknown numbers. Left no message.

This caller does not give up, we are 80 years old and need our phone for medical reasons. How can we stop these creeps from calling? So far 4 calls, 4 trips to the phone & 4 hang ups.

Either you know who you're voting for, or - you just don't care.  Getting a robocall does not sway my vote; it only turns me off to that candidate.

Same thing for me. I have Comcast so it shows the caller ID on the TV. Said Cell Phone, IL and gave me the 630 number. I let the answering machine pick it up and all you could hear was people laughing and goofing off in the background. No one said a name or if they were calling to promote a politician. They just hung up after babbling to whoever else was in the room with them.

Political call promoting Republican candidates in the area around Chicago... They hope the 630 area code will prompt local people to answer what appears to be a local call. The appeal for your $$ and your vote may be presented as/after a "survey" or series of "leading" questions. If you answer you can be assured of regular calls between now and November. Also, your number will remain in their database for the 2014 political campaign.

This number called me and I decided to answer it, even knowing that it was a crank call with the Caller ID of CELL PHONE IL. I heard people laughing in the background - like it was a small office - and the person laughing the loudest (the nearest) was a male, probably the one on the phone that called me. And he disconnected the call as soon as I said, "Good morning."

i got 12 calls in a row, lasted for over 20 minutes, if it was bob dold he lost my vote. i don't approve to terror tactics! ( idon't answer phone unless i know who it is! i don't like these terror calls! at least his opponent identifies himself in caller name, guess he gets my vote

Frank, If this is indeed a Political call, the Do not Call list does not apply....You didn't think the politicians would allow themselves to follow the same rules did you?
