i just got a call on 1-31-08 from this number. i missed the call, checked the voice mail but they didnt leave a message. I recently published my business info in the newspaper and have been receiving TONS of calls from banks and credit card processing companies who all want to sell me their business. so im betting this is what this number is in regards to.

I have also been getting calls from this number. They never leave a message. I'm also on the Do Not Call list. They are obviously ignoring it.

Called for my boss today as they have been doing for a few weeks but refused to leave a message.  I called the number back, chose 0 because I didn't have a name of someone to talk to and requested to be removed from their calling list.  The girl was very nice.  Hopefully the calls will stop...

Or, when you pick up the phone, of course nobody is there, because it is an autodialer.

Hit the pound key (#) 8 or 9 times in a row really quickly, then listen, you will hear it hang up. Hitting that key like that confuses the autodialer, and it will hang up and kick your number out of the system as being invalid.

This is what I found on the net anyway. It does work in that it hangs up. Whetherit actually kicks your number out of their system I cannot say.

FCC Regulations require that a telemarketer that has been informed to take a number off of its calling list by the number account holder must immediatly comply and keep such records for 5 years. As stated they must immediately comply, not wait 30 days as I have been told at times by the liars at Ameribanc.

If my latest flurry of legal maneuvers fails to satisfy I will file an injunction with my state attorney. No kidding, Ameribanc.

These idiots have been calling me at work for almost a year.  I have repeatedly asked to be added to their DNC list, but obviously they don't abide by those requests.  I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General, and would advise anyone else who is as annoyed with the calls to do the same.  It's the only way to get these people to stop calling us.

I've been getting tons of calls from people like this, and I don't even have a store.  I am a part time DJ, and I rarely even take a credit card.. maybe once a year if that.  I don't need a POS system folks!

Never EVER put an ad in the yellow pages, it has been many years since I've had an ad, but they keep hounding me with this crap, and bogus health insurance.

They have been constantly calling me to get me to opt for their Credit card terminals.  I have told them at least 7-8 times I already have one and am not interested.  They called today, again, and I told them do not call again, to which the telemarketer replied "I'll call you Thursday."  Tired of it, it is intrusive to business.
