This number just called me i did not answer it, my caller id was Sun vac. I listened to the voicemail and it was an over excited man stating i signed up to win something at a princesses on ice we recently attended, which i did remember doing. This man continued to tell me how i will not believe what i have won and to call back immediately. So i googled sun vac and got this thread. Whether its for real or not im not calling back. Thanks all for your posts about sun vac. I will be auto rejecting this and any number that calls me labeled sun vac.

Got a call this morning from someone at Sundance Getaways (or so it sounded) saying that my name was picked for a promotion after I went to a Chicago Wolves game. I did go to the game and filled out one of the forms but I'm not calling back. I also was told to call any time before 10 but I'm not going to. It sounds like a scam/timeshare thing.

They're just trying to be helpful to you, by getting you interested in a team that can actually win some games, unlike the  laughing stocks of the entire country, the Sox and Cubs! Most likely the Cougars could beat either of  these teams, even if they fielded only 6 players.Outfielders are seldom needed when facing such poor teams. Just a pitcher and a catcher would suffice in most! Give the Cougars a try.

got repeated calls saying I registered at a kane county cougars game I have Never been to a game  and after telling them to stop they continued to call till I told them my lawyer would be contacting them

Received several calls stating I won a cruise a 4-day cruise to the Bahamas including airfare to the ship in Miami.  Stated I won because I filled out an entry form during a recent visit the Pittsburgh Zoo.  I knew there and then this was scam.  I can't remember when was the last time I was at the zoo (but it was at least 40 years ago).  And, I never fill out entry forms anywhere let alone for vacation giveaways.

Got a call from the, left a message about the vacation prize.

Jessica just called from Chicago saying its in regards to an entry at a Baltimore Ravens game. Don't recall filling anything out. She asked to call back and that they'd be in their DC office until 10 tonight. Said they have some "very good news" for me

I have been receiving calls from this number and they are leaving the same 1-800 number and extension y'all mention above....I was at the concert they are referring to in my voicemail messages they leave, however, I do not recall filling out a form...I purchased my tix through Groupon....have any of y'all purchased your tix to the event they mention you attended from Groupon? Or a similar ticket agency? I'm thinking Groupon sold my phone number...484-754-0300 is another number that calls me saying they are Sundance and I won airline and hotel accommodations.

I received a call from this number today.  I didn't answer but he left a voicemail.  His name was Rob or Ron or something like that.  I couldn't understand what company he said he was from, but it was something vacations.  Assuming now what he said was Sundance Vacations.  Anyway, in the message he said I signed up for the contest at the Dave Matthews Band concert this past May.  I don't remember signing up for anything of the sorts when I was there...neither do my sisters who were there with me.  I'm sure they are trying to sell some type of vacation package where you have to sit through a timeshare presentation of some sort.  I received tons of calls from other numbers recently as well selling essentially the same thing.  I even told some of these numbers I'm not interested and stop calling me and they still continue to call.  And this is my cell phone!  Not my home phone line.  It's so annoying!

Received 2 calls this morning 6/17/13 back to back and hung up on both of them since I did not recognize the company nor am planning a vacation.  I am listed on the Do Not Call List but obviously that doesn't stop these telemarketers!!!

I got a call 5/4/13 @ 10:00 CST from 630-324-7357.  The name on my caller ID shows as SUN VAC.  I didn't answer the phone but a "Tanya" left a message saying I had won a trip after signing up at the Circle Center Mall in Indianapolis, IN.  We have been in Indianapolis but didn't sign up for anything.  This is a scam - I called the mall office.  "Tanya" left a call back number of 800-324-7357.

Same as other calls.  Received same call last week from a Manchester, NH number.  The above is Illinois.
They told me it was not a time share sales pitch - but rather they sell vacation packages and hope to get me as customer, and if I am happy, the people I tell.
I apparently did sign up at a mall during Christmas shopping.  I actually don't remember doing that but sometimes I do things like that so I probably did.  They had all my info and I think the only way they could have got it all was me telling them.
I have said I will attend the one hour meeting, here in Indy, near where I live tomorrow.  If they are trying to sell time shares I will call them out.  If they are, basically, a travel agency - fine by me.  
Cruise ships have lots of empty spaces and I expect this is one way to fill them up.
Also, they have a cost of $189-$229 per person for "port fees, security fees, and taxes.  That seems high - seems like a cost recovery to me.  Still a good deal for air fare from Indy to Miami, cruise to Bahamas for 4 days, three nights, all meals and non-alcoholic drinks.  So, made the appointment for tomorrow, 3/26/13 - still not sure if I'll go.  I'm an attorney and use to dealing with a***oles.  In fact, I can be one.  So, saying no will not be a problem for me if it seems like a scam or I decide they lied to me, for example, by trying to sell a time share when they said it was not about that.

Amanda, Any update?  I am getting calls saying that I (or my husband) entered at some jingle ball, but neither of us can recall entering into something.

630.324.7357 called my cell after an entry I filled out at the Transworld Jewelry in order to win a free cruise. The name of the company is SUNDANCE VACATIONS.COM. I am pretty sure they invite you on a cruise but first you might have to listen to a speech about buying time shares and etc.

I also went to six flags nj this summer and I received a call this morning saying the same thing it's a timeshare scam.

My mom and dad both sign up for a raffle when we all went to six flags in nj in the summer of 2012. So therefor a lady called today  Nov 27 2012 talkin about my parents won a cruise or a car....nd it's a way that six flags promotes their company....I basically told her that this is a scam nd she said No that they are a company that other companies call to help promote....nd she gave call back number, 1800 291 0500...........could be true, as long as they don't ask for financial information right off the back...it's worth try. And by the way the people that  was working when they did the raffle were six flags workers, hey had the uniform nd all.......so hopefully this helps many people, God bless.

I signed up for this chance winning while at an Indiana Ice game in May. Since noone on this post had decided to call them back to see what was up, I did! They didn't ask me for any credit card information and scheduled a date and time for my husband and I to go into their office and get our package information and such. I will not provide them with any of my financial information when we get there. I would like to see if this is a true scam or not. It never hurts to call back and take a chance that it could be real!! I remember signing up for it thinking, I never win anything. I received a call from that same number by a "Jessica" at (name of entity garbled) ext#722, claiming I won a Caribean Cruise line vacation including airfare for two. She indicated it was based upon my attendance at a NJ Devil's game on April 7th. I figure that they are just telemarketer's and that if it was a legitamate concern they would have to provide me with a written notice as there would be tax implications and timeframes to contend with. Accordingly, I'm responding or providing them with any information whatsoever.

I got a message on my answering machine from "Cassandra" at this number ( 630-342-7357) on June 8, 2012.  

Said that I had won a Caribbean Cruise and left a callback number of 800-291-0500 x 994.

She also stated  that the entry had been submitted at a Reds game, and indeed I did go to a Reds game on May 12, 2012 but I do not recall entering anything.

At any rate, I found the posts here and have decided not to call back.

Not sure if this is legit or not but I received the same message from 570-235-2020.  Was originally going to call back but since it is linked to the 570 number likely will not.

I got a voicemail as well stating I won a free cruise from signing up at a Cincinnati Reds game this fall. Havent thought if I'm gonna risk a call back as of yet though...

Called my cell and leaves a message each time about winning a cruise. I would say it could be legit except they have called from 4 different numbers in 4 different states claiming to be from the local travel agency that is no longer in business. My wife got the same call. If it sounds to good to be true, it is.

Keep calling my number and not leaving a message.
