This debt collector just called to our office, threatening to send the Sheriff and collect their money. This is very ridiculous.

Tell them to send you a copy of the debt with all particulars and tell them to send it US mail.  E-mail no good.

Send 'em a cease and desist order.   You can get templates off the net.

Next time they call, if they haven't given you the information you want, tell 'em to go to hell!  Tell 'em you know it's a scam!

I just received a call and they left a message referencing Brennan and Clark in regards to a business account.

BEN DEVINE from Brennan & Clark, Ltd. has been HARRASSING my family - threatening, yelling, not responding to returned calls, stating that HE is a LAWYER (not according to any lawyer lists I can find), trying to wipe out a bank account, and MORE!  Watch out!  He is a lying slime ball with deep claws to scare you and hold you hostage.

I got a call from them and got put on hold. I waited 2 minutes and hung up. Thanks to all others who posted here.

A total scam. They called demanding that I resolve some matter amicably from "Brennan and Clark."  Some guy named Ben Devine (not a real name) was the listed associate. It was a recorded message. I called back to speak with someone to find out who it really was that was calling me, and they picked up, and then hung up. I called back again and it went to "his" voice-mail. The number they called from was 630-359-6125. Ben Devine can be reached at 630-359-6126 ext. 6125.

The call is originating in Elmhurst, IL. I am reporting them to the F.B.I., the Elmhurst Police Dept., the FTC, FCC, and the BBB.

My caller id said "Brennan and Clark". I held for them to come on line when they called ME. When a person came on, They asked for "sales solutions". When I told them I did not know who that was, they hung up on me!
