They called me twice in the past two days.  Left no message.  I don't answer if I don't know who is calling.

I got an automated call today from 630-392-2100.  It said they wanted to verify my address for an online purchase I had made and that I was elligible to receive a gift certificate.  It instructed me to press 1 and verify my information.  I hung up.  I called the number back to see if I could find out who this was, but again was connected to an automated answering system and hung up again.  This seems to be related to a scam perpretrated on me when I signed up for free sample of colon RX and Acaciaslim which was supposed to cost 4.95 and 5.95 for shipping respectively.  It then turned out that they began to charge my credit card for automated shipping and some kind of membership fee.  I have cancelled my credit card and have disputed the charges as well as reported them to the Attorney Generals office.

Just got two calls witnin 5 minutes of each other.  Also leary about answering my cell when I do not recognize the number.  I did not answer either time.  No voicemails or anything.  After reading other posts, and knowing what I've ordered online (and from the same companies repeatedly) and NOT receiving calls associated with those orders, I'm just simply not answering and giving them anything.

Cpa dial is a  company contracted to do followup calls on internet purchases from various on line sites.  They do not ask for credit card info, merely verifying with you that in fact you used the card shown, and the address on file given by the purchaser.    A trial product is offered, with a free trial period and 1-800 numbers to cancel.  They only call people who have ordered product and are verifying that purchase, something beneficial to both parties.  They also refer any customer issues through 1-800 numbers back to the original company that the product was purchased.   When someone purchases the trial product from Cpadial, they are given an agent name and number and a customer service number.  Not sure what the issue is???

This is "The Grant University" in Draper, UT. They promise a "free" government grant package and ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is pay $1.98 for the shipping. After you stupidly make the mistake of ordering from them (like I did), you find out that they are a SCAM. They have several different websites that all look different except their "testimonial" pictures are all the same.

When you call their "800" # you get a recording that says all agents are busy and after several minutes, the recording says "they value your time so please leave a message and they will return your call" but when you press 1 to leave a message, another recording says their voice mailbox is full and cannot accept further messages.

I did manage to finally speak to someone there who sounded as though he had an "Indian" accent. I asked him his name and he said "Tom Wade". He assured me that my order would be cancelled although I had sent them 3 emails cancelling my order (they bounced back).

The call from (630) 392-2100 does not identify the company but thanks you for your "on line" order and press 1 to confirm it. It does not tell you before pressing 1 who the company is.

I have filed a complaint with the Sprint / Nextel Board of Inquiries and copied the FTC on the email.

Good luck with these thieves. They're slick. I had to stop payment at my bank in order to keep them from accessing it and will also be closing that account and opening a new one just to be safe.

The person on the phone from this # 630-392-2100  identified themselves as CPADial, and were originally calling to confirm a purchase I had from The Grant University. I was still online with them. It was less than two minutes after making the purchase that i received the phone call. After confirming my address they tried to sell me another service for $2.00, and after giving confirmation #, told me about 40 day trials and 16.95 a month fees for this second service.

630-392-2100 (ID "wireless caller" - pretty sneaky) called 3 times to confirm my shipping address, leaving voice mail.  At the same time, fraudulent charges began showing on my credit card.  Coincidence?  My card was not lost, but someone was able to charge to it.  Being suspicious this was about a fraud charge to my card, I dialed the number back.  It was apparently a call center, and the female who answered asked for my phone number to trace my inquiry.  When I gave it, she said the call concened shipment of anti-wrinkle cream, and she advised me to call 866-897-2464 to cancel the order.  I did, and the sales person at this 2nd number said the company name is "List SP" or similar, selling monthly shipments of cosmetics; i.e., you get never ending shipments unless you cancel.  According to her, the charge to my card was $4.95, regularly $69.90(!), was made by someone purchasing online, and it had already shipped.  If I don't want it, simply refuse the USPS shipment, she said.  Five business days later, no USPS box has arrived yet.  Hard to understand why someone else would buy something on my card and ship it to me.

Caller called 2 times, left 2 identical messages. Message said "Press 1  for gas gift card and or gift card. I called them on the number on my caller ID and someone answered and asked for my phone number. I told him I wanted off their list and he was very nice to do that for me - but still verified all my address and phone info. He said he got the information from something I did on Google - Hope I didn't buy anything since I have been on for a couple different things lately.

This is a call center for several companies which are real but they don't work for them. The people Called me every day for the past 4 days, I have missed the call or would not answer. They were going by Hollwood Profile and it ws a computer talking and wanted me to push 1 to verfy my details on a purches I had done. I missed there call and so I called them back and asked them their name of the company they were calling about. The guy said he was with a goup that handles call backs for several companies and asked for my phone number. So I gave it to him and he said it was for Hollwood Profiles and I ask what kind of company they were and he said they were looking for extras for film and movies and want to get my information. I told him that I did not pursched anything and I wasn't interested, He gave me the phone number for Hollwood Profile of 1-800-270-7138 and said I could call them if became interested.
I did call this number finding out that they don't do business like that and all they are trying to do is get your credit number. Tim the agent I talked to said they were trying to build a case on them.

So beware of these people as they also used 630-318-4762 came up on caller ID and when called back the phone company said this number has not been issued yet.

They just want your CREDIT NUMBER BE CAREFULL

I had three calls on caller ID in the past two days from this number with a message they appreciated my recent order but needed to confirm  my address for shipping.  Today they calld again and I answered. she instructed me to punch 1.  I had not placeed any online order for anything but thought my husband may have and not mentioned it to me. I asked who had placed the order and what address they had on record?  The address was for my business. They could not tell who had placed the order since it wasn't me but if I could verify the credit card info then I would receive a $50 gas card and other prizes. I did not verify anything and told them to cancel the order and not to call me again. I do not know how they got my number since it listed for my business

I just received two calls from this number today but no message was left on my voice mail.  I called back and he said he wanted to verify my information for the online purchase.  I asked him what I purchased and he said some tea.  I had clicked on an offer for a free sample of tea, but when it asked for my info, it also wanted my credit card info for shipping and handling, so I canceled out of the offer.  I never gave any credit card info.  Anyway, I asked him what company he was with and he told me "CRC" and that they are affilitated with about 30 different companies.  Then he offered me $50 in gift cards if he could get my credit card info and sign me up for some 30 day trials.  No thanks!
