Stop all calls

Recieved call from this number often. Please stop calling

these people call me constantly. I have told them to quit, yet they continue to call me

Yuo could do like I did back, ok, way, way, way back in the days of the "heavy breather" calls....blow a police whistle into the phone as hard as you can. They won't call again.

I use Mr.Number.com it blocks all suspisious calls, advises me before it blocks them and reports calls as spam if you want it to. It's been a God send cause I was getting every sort of call you can imagine. Now they don't bother calling because they can't get through.

This number has called me at least 5 x daily for the last 3 weeks. I know they are spammers because when I answer they want to give me a loan that I never applied for via western union. This is totally a scam.

This number just called me on my cell phone (630-446-1003). I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer, and they did not leave a message. I then checked this website (800notes.com) as I always do when I get a call from a strange number. All my caller ID would show is "IL, USA" for this number. After reading this thread, I'm sure I'm going to block it.

From what i gather from the other comments in this thread, somehow they are getting people's social security numbers and contact info. About seven or eight months ago I received a call on my home landline phone from a bill collector. The woman was obviously foreign and I could hardly make out what she was saying in the message on my answering machine. It sounded like she said, "...if I don't hear from you or your attorney, I will have no other choice but to release your info. Call me at..."  I'm wondering if this debt collector actually did release my info including my social security number? If they really did, then my identity just got stolen. This may not have anything to do with this. I don't know. It's definitely something to think about.

Also, I noticed a lot of people asking how to block numbers. Well, if you have an iPhone and you jailbreak it, you can install a cool app called iBlacklist. It actually is a "phone firewall" for your cell phone. This means you can actually block calls on your phone and not your carrier, so the debt collectors can't do anything about it. If you don't know how to jailbreak your iPhone, go to iClarrified.com and use their how-to guide. After you get jailbroken, open Cydia, search for, and install iBlacklist. It does cost a little but it may help you out.

You know it is a scam when you dial them back and their phone won't even ring.  How stupid are these people?  Redundant question!

I just got one on my son's Cell Phone. I couldn't hear what she said her name was cause my daughter is watching SpongeBob. So I asked her to turn it down because I couldn't hear the person on the phone. By the time my daughter got over to the tv and turned it down they had hung up. I love it when these idiots call and I can call them that cause when I was 16 I use to be a telemarketer.
Anyway that is not at all the point. What I was trying to ask was what is the app for blocking numbers. It won't work on my son's phone but it will work on mine..

I got a new cell phone with a new number.  
It has not been given out to anyone.   I have only called family on it.
I received 3 calls on my new number in the last 48 hours from 630-446-1003  I didn't answer any calls, But Google searched the number and ended up here.   I have received other calls from several other numbers asking for someone named michael {and the last name}   I told them I didn't even know anyone by that name, but the calls still keep coming.  I just registered my numbers today with the do not call registery.   at  ( donotcall.gov )

I was searching for car loans online and all of the sudden I start getting calls from these people. I spoke with one of them on one occasion and told them to NOT call me anymore. I hasn't worked. They've been calling me several times a day since 7/11. I downloaded an app for my cel phone and they're blocked now. I don't even see when the call comes in. I look at the blocked log and saw they're still calling. Idiots...

This number has called me as well. I have my number on the "Do Not Call Registry" So I reported it. You should do the same. The for calling people on the DNC is pretty hefty.  The annoying part is that most of the time they are calling you because of something you have put in a search engine online. For example, I work in insurance, so if I search something using the word insurance, I'll usually get one of these calls. Creepers!

Constantly call leave no message say your approved for a loan.

This people have just called me for the third time today. When I started getting calls from this number last week, I looked it up here so I knew what they were already about. Now they are leaving a voicemail, stating that my car loan has been approved. I did not apply for one. I am out of work. I am waiting for job offers to call. I can't have my phone tied up with this crap..!!!!! How do we make them go the @:&& away...!!!

I was getting calls from this number last year. I was told that I was approved for my car loan and they just needed to confirm some info. I went along with it to hear what personal info of mine they had. It was so scary- they had everything that you would find on a mortgage application except my full social security number as far as I know. They had my bank info except for my full account number. They asked me to confirm my full SS# and bank account number. At this point I informed them that I never applied for this and asked where they got the info. They said they got it from me, that I had filled out an online application. I hung up and called my mortgage company and title company. But they both have privacy protection and assured me that they do not share info. I signed their privacy policy and they are upstanding companies. I was so worried that I froze my credit with the 3 reporting agencies for one year. Just recently I decided it might be safe to unfreeze and the calls have started again. I am going to block the number and ck my credit report regularly. I hate these people. They are the lowest of the low. But they are obviously duping some people or they wouldn't continue to do this. and wound up here. No message I ever left. Thanks to all for the info.

These calls started when I used the Motor Trend website to check on financing a new car. I just wanted a quick estimate from the actual site on interest rates ,instead they sold my number to about a thousand companies trying to get me to take out a loan.
I just add them to my cell phones reject list.
Never ever use Motor Trend or any other online company to look up loan or insurance rates.
You will be driven nuts for years to come.
It has been ayear and half since I purchased a new car and the calls are still coming.
Another thing do not ever answer the call to tell them not to bother you.
If you pick up they get credited for actually talking to a potential customer. They then will call even more frequently.even if you curse them threaten them etc. For them its a completed call.
Use your call block or reject.

this number is calling me 3-4 times a day every day  I am so sick of it, how do these people get our numbers? I thought having a cell phone only would stop some of the harassment calls  I  in a hurry that was wrong, You would think with our knowledge today this kind of stuff could be stopped or even slowed down, these people don't have anything better to do to lazy to get a real job, Enough is Enough

Im sick of them calling me. I keep telling them to stp and that I DID NOT apply for a car loan. I already have one with my bank thank you very much but they call me daily and harass me calling me a liar that I did apply. I'm sick of it.

630-446-1003 calls 3 to 4 times a day and no one on the other line.  If you call it back it is dead air

The same thing just happened to me and I immediately went to research this number on the internet. The woman did not say where she was calling from but did say that my vehicle loan application had been approved and verified my e-mail address. When I told her I had not applied for a car loan in over 2 years she hung up on me. When I tried to call the (630) 446-1003 number back it was always busy

I have received many calls from this number and I have left it up to my answer service to pick up a message from them and they will not leave a message.  So I tried at least 5 time to call this number back and all I can get is a message that says either all circuits are busy or call did not go thru please try again. After that I tried on my own to check out this phone number and I have received a report that says this number has had spam reports to this phone number. So if you receive a call from this number be careful it could be a scam.

I keep getting calls on my landline phone number from this landline phone number which is 630-446-1003 and they will not leave a message on my phone message system and I have tried at least 4 time to call this number and I get a number of different messages that say either try again call did not go thru or phone circuit is busy.So I have checked this number out as far as I could go on my own without having to pay for some outside help.And I have received a statement that says this phone number 630-446-1003 has been reported to have spam reports to it.

This is a company saying that you filled out an application for a car loan.

they are scamming with stolen security numbers for approved loans . they say they are located in IL.

how do we block these calls and report stolen social security number....

i got a call 3 times in a row that hung up after one ring.  i called it back and says nbr is disconnected.  BIZARRE

Calls every other day.  When I did answer she said"  You have been approved for ....."  I yelled into the phone do not bother me, you are a scam", she hung up.  However, that did not stop her from constantly calling, which i have kept a record on my phone.  How can we stop this harrassment.??????
