This is just another person or company who is out to collect money (bill collector)
Caller identified himself as Stephen/Steven Banks and practically demanded a return call that day. Did not identify company he was with. Caller ID did not match call-back number.
Received a call from this number stating it was Maxine Kelly with an important matter to speak about. Did not identify company she was calling frr. Told me to call (630) 446-7006. Don't know who this is
Philip in Atlanta
Called. But didnt leave any message.
Nothing but bill collectors acting like they were from a law firm.
According to this they are out of business:
As best as I can tell, Integrated Portfolio Management Inc is Liliana and Earl Shields, they live at 2315 Hazel Court, Naperville, IL 60565.
You must work for Integrated Portfolio Management. You obviously have no life. You people are the scum of the earth. You judge people right away and harass them. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror....I bet you hate what you see and you hate your job!
HEY CAN ANYONE REACH THESE PEOPLE? i PAID AN ACCOUNT THROUGH THEM AND KEEP GETTING BILLS SAYING MY ACCOUNT WASN'T SETTLED. ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
I trying to call this company. I have used 4 different numbers but I have had no success in reaching them. Have they been put out of business?
Please, if anyone knows the status of Stanley, Weinberg & Associates let me know.
I have received calls from this number each hour on the hour until I picked up the line. Was told by 2 employee's (I guess) Jane Warner and Chuck Stien.
Stated I needed to call them back, however when I call back I can not speak to either of the people calling me. Is this a real company or what
866 961 3766 - A "David Hunter" and I have been discussing a debt that is legit. However, they constantly call and harass and don't seem willing to settle on anything.
They have my checking account number. I have paid them over $1000 so far. I owe about another $3000.
What's the best way to handle?
and BTW- why would a person who "pays their bills" be looking this company up on the internet? What a winner!! I'm sure your parents are proud of you.
Good luck in life with that attitude - you seem like the type that will go far - not. You must be living of a rich relative or just plain stupid.
3rd time they called (see posting from Nov 20th)- this time is was "Samuel Stone"! This time I recorded the call on our answering machine.
Told him that we had an attorney send letter in Dec to stop harrassing us. Stone said they never received the letter (we have the signed FedEx receipt). Sounds like a real clown operation.
person who would like to pay their bills
Some people did pay their bills until something bad or unfortunate happened. Some people even want to pay but are unable to, or creditors don't like to make payment arrangements that debtors are able to pay during hard times. Who are you to say people have no integrity just because they can't pay. Step back, and pray to God you are never in the same situation as some people and that you'll always be financially sound. What you are blessed with can be taken away at any time.
Was left a message to call 866-961-3766 which is Integrated Portfolio Management. I was told that I was listed on an account as a contact number /reference on an account for my ex husbands girlfriend. (The woman he left me for) I am confused how if at all I would ever be listed on an account with her and certainly don't want to be associated with her in any way and the now obvious financial issues they are having. Had to check all of my credit reports to see if they were using me on any accounts. This call has created alot of work and un easy feeling of being used yet again. I would certainly like to know if I really was listed as a contact, but they said they could not give me information about another persons account. How insulting that I am the one who has to worry now.
The first person to call me was Frank White. He said he was calling from the law office of Staney something. The so called manager is Micheal Minera.
these people just called my home - demanded to speak to my husband - when I told them he is overseas they said I needed to contact him immediately as this was an emergency. I tohught someone was dead. They wouldn't tell me anything and when I called back to speak to the manager he wouldn't give me his managers name. He said the owner "does not get involved".
I got the address for the company and will be calling the Better Business Bureau and the Illinois State Attorney's Office
It does matter
Yo stupid collector. It DOES matter. It matters if you can provide written proof of the debt. It matters if you abide by the FDCPA and TCPA. It matters if you are calling for the original creditor (usually not) or are trying to collect a bad written-off debt (good luck not gonna happen). You can stop all your moral arguments now. The American taxpayer is being stuck with huge amounts of debt because your original creditors did not care who they loaned money to... and this has destroyed our economy! Now everyone will suffer due to your greed!
I RECEIVED A FEW CALLS MYSELF FROM MR. KELLOG. HE EVEN CALLED ALL MY NEIGHBORS. I CALLED HIM BACK AND TOLD HIM THAT IF HE DIDN'T STOP I WAS GOING TO AN ATTORNEY. HE SAID THAT HE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO CALL MY NEIGHBORS TO ESTABLISH MY RESIDENCE. I AM IN SHOCK AND I WILL CONTACT AN ATTORNEY. CAN YOU BELIEVE THE NERVE?
ex wife with children
That's F...ing B-S my ex husband owes me and my children over $75,000.00 in back child support from hiding and running from collectors for over 18 years so don't hand me that crap...
Called three times, using the name "Calvin Brooks". Wants $214 for a bill on a Barnes & Noble Mastercard I have no record of ever having used, nor any statement from the card company. Actually, the B&N Mastercard was taken over by Barclay's last year. When I am trying to find out what the charges are about, I can get no information either from Barclay's or from IPM. The "Brooks" guy told me they sent me a letter with the info -- never came. I called and told him to send it by fax to my work -- never came. I saw that they posted an outstanding obligation on my credit report at all three national credit agencies' sites. I sent the credit agencies a fraud alert and contacted my local police department. So, I am waiting but, following the advice you guys are giving, I won't talk to them any more. If they send me info on what the charges are about, I will pay exactly what I owe, not a cent more.
Have not had any dealings with this ex in 10 years, know nothing about his where abouts and do not care to know. we received a call for my present husband wanting to know if he knew my ex or any of his realatives or friends. My husband told him to talk to me, he ask me the same questios but would not tell me why they was calling. I called the # and they would tell me nothing, but ask if i was afffilated with Starbucks or Wallmart. We live in a different state and have a new phone #.
They have called my home twice when I have been absent. They now use the number 630-446-7100 but are still the smae company located inBensenville, Illinois They say the call is for someone I don't know with the same last name and rudely demand a return call.
These shysters are based in Illinois and I would like to know my our Attorney General Lisa Madigan has done nothing to stop these people
Calls 10-12 times a day
Are you sure
Are you sure your husband does not owe some outstanding debt I bet he does I bet he's been spending that credit card on some other women. You better check it out. Call them back and see what they want.
A person that pays their bills
It does not matter if your number is unlisted you can't run and you can't hide if you owe the debt They will find you.... pay it. Your number was not unlisted when you borrowed and spent the MONEY!!!!!! The credit card company was there for you when you were in need and this is how you repay them by dodging their calls? not even trying to make payment arrangements. Where is your integrity?
The coller was Robert Sullivan, but the number given was 630-446-7100.
They're essentially looking to collect money from me, from a charge that is legit. Unfortunately, I tried contacting -them- a week prior, but they told me they were in the middle of transffering my debt to another collector. They asked me to call them back in 10 days.
So fine, it's on them.
However, they call me back a week later, just now, and at first they're polite, but serious.
Now, I hate repeating myself, especially when I have to repeat something to someone whose talking down to me (it should be the other way around, no?)
So I tell him, three times that I'm going to pay, but due to a prior arrangement with other collectors, I have no funds to pay immediately, but I'll be willing to make arrangements to pay as early as november.
He goes off on a rant and begins using his silly scare tactics. I hold him right there, telling him off, say if they're refusing my money, it's on them, and to get their priorities in order before they come to me again.
in december 2007, i received phone call from these jerks. kept me on the phone for an hour arguing with me about payment arrangements. i finally (like a fool) caved in and authorized 2 seperate $75.00 payments from my account. When i asked him what's to stop them from taking money out of my account anytime they want to? he said it's against the law and i could sue them. two weeks later i start getting calls again (which i totally ignored). June 2008 i noticed $75.00 missing from my account. Guess who... integrated portfolio management posted a nonexistant check against my account. i quickly started a fraud claim through my bank to get my money back, and closed my account. about 10 days later i got a letter from them stating that the post dated check (that didnt exist) that they were holding was going to be deposited. even the date on the letter and envelope were phoney, dated 3 weeks before i received them via us mail. i hadnt received a call from these people in months until i got my $75.00 back from them, now i receive at least one aday, sometimes two. they've tried their postdated scam again, got the letters in the mail about 3 weeks after the date on the metered mail stamp...but since i have closed that account they wont be getting anymore of my money. DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO THESE PEOPLE!
