Tabitha w/ allegiance tours called, claimed I won the raffle from riverfest in St Charles for the round trip tix (thought I entered a bears raffle ?? Lol).  Sounded good until she mentioned the hour and a half meeting.  Anybody ever actually go?

My wife and I were rang by Tabitha at Allegiance Tour offering us the same as everyone else above. Thanks for posting all this information. It really helped us out. It seemed too good to be true so we dug around and found this.

I got the same call yesterday, she said she is from allegiance tours which when I googled does not exist, but the address is in Lombard right on Highland Ave  .
I signed up for a focus group through craigslist and they said I won a Raffle, 2 tickets and 3 night stay for a max value of 1500$, all i have to do is to got to a 90 minutes presentation to explain how I can use it. Today another  girl called me asking what are my plans for vacation and where would I like to go. I have been sucked in time share scam presentation before with useless gifts so I am so glad I found this website first.
I got two calls from two different numbers 630-557-1551 and 630-571-1556 they are both internet kinda of numbers, so could be generated from anywhere. I am not wasting two hours of my time and paying for a sitter to go to this B.S.

I don't know if anyone ever dd go but It is too good to be true.

Newest scam is a girl named Tabitha calling from "Continental Travel Agents" in Gurnee, IL. Phone number differs every time she calls saying you won the two "airline vouchers". Area code is 630 which is from southern suburbs, not Gurnee and there is no such travel agency by that name in Gurnee. Numbers to avoid 630-537-0917 and 630-557-1556. Same pretense as above, go to 90 minute presentation, etc. Don't fall for and never give your credit card number to anyone you don't know!!! They say they got our name at the Crystal Lake Home Show.

Thanks to everyone for posting- I also registered for the Windy City Bridal Expo, but wasn't able to attend. Got multiple calls from "Tabitha" at Continental Travel at 630-537-0917 and she said the same- I won two tickets, and a hotel stay, and she "just needed to confirm my info" so she could send me the trip. So obviously they sold my info, which is annoying. I was tipped off because when I asked for the company name, she stuttered and stammered that they had a booth at the Bridal Expo, and I said "And I wasn't there- so what is your company name?"  I then Googled the phone number when I couldn't find a legitimate website, and found this.

Got a call from them last night.  I signed up for a raffle at a home & garden show a few weeks ago at Arlington Park.  They made it sound pretty convincing- no strings attached, just trying to promote using a travel agency instead of buying airfare/hotel/etc. online, "no high pressure sales".

My husband was pretty skeptical of it; I knew I wasn't going to get suckered into a timeshare or anything, but I was at least looking forward to plane tickets.  Glad I found this first!

Same scam and this was from "Tabitha" at "Continental Travel" in Lombard. Claimed I'd won two United tix from the Chicago Golf Show in Lombard and in her voice mail said no timeshare, no obligation, etc.  Ended the phone call after I'd read some of the info. here.

Sentry Travel is now Continental Travel - Definitely still a scam. Got the below email & when I spoke to Brittney directly, she said that we needed to come to Lomard, IL to listen to their 1-hour presentation (red flag!)

Also shame on the Windy City Wedding Show for selling our (brides) email addresses - I did not sign up for any raffles or give my information to any vendors while I attended the show at Carnivale, so there's only one place these scammers could have gotten my email from.

Received a call from "Tabitha" at Gateway Tours.  Said they pulled my name from a raffle at the Windy City Wedding show.  I did register for that, but did not attend, so I believed that they had gotten my name from that event.  Same deal - 2 RT tickets and hotel stay / cruise. Was very pushy in asking for information, but it was *just* not too personal information that I thought it might be legit.  She said we HAD to attend their presentation within 1 week of winning, and the directions to their office were absurd and very confusing. When she said we had to provide a credit card to park in the building was when I figured this was all not worth it. Found this chain and it validated my suspicions.  Tabitha called from 630-537-0917.

I received a call last night from 215-488-5938, and let it go to voicemail as I didn't recognize the number.  I listened to the message this morning. It was a pleasant female voice identifying herself as Whitney from the York Bridal Expo, calling with exciting news about the results of their raffle.  Though I'm usually skeptical about these things, I actually did attend a bridal show in York, and put my name in a few boxes, so I thought maybe it was legit.  I called the number back and got a voicemail recording of "Whitney, promotions manager", with no mention of a company name.  I'm glad I found this page.  Oh well, guess I didn't win anything after all.

Well they changed the name of their "company"
it is now Orbits tour and travel.....
Exact same thing. I too spoke to Breanna and she tells me i signed up at a Bridal expo and that they are celebrating their 30th anaversery. she is a great sales person and assures you that it is not a time share and no strings attached. all we have to do is come to a quick 90min group info session where they will tell us all about their company, she tells me that i will walk away with my tickets only thing we have to pay is the "Tax." she even sent a confirm email. it all appears to be very professional, however my fiance and i recently fell for one of these Scams and went to their info sessions. we left with the "voucher" that after Many Hoops and Many checks later you get you tickets. after we sent in the fist $4 check and erceived the next step which also required a check for a much larger amount we stopped and threw the "Vouvher" away.
I am beginning to think this is the same scam with just a new name.
I canciled my appt.

I live in Pennsylvania and got the same call last night, apparently from a bridal show I never attended (and never saw them on the vendor's list). I emailed the bridal show organizers to give them a forewarning and also emailed "Noelle" back asking for more information because it has hoax written all over it. I don't think i'll be getting a response....

They have started calling in Pennsylvania now.  Two different numbers, I blocked the one and then got a different "representative" calling from a similar number.  Noelle and Brittany.  The numbers here in PA are 484-401-7689 and 484-401-7869.  Same travel bit that everyone else got. Feel for it and made an appointment for tonight, not going thanks to this page!!  The are now going under Orbit tour and travel.

My fiance received the same time of offer as mentioned above. This was with Whitney, Orbit Tour and Travel, which has a site but out of Lombard, IL. We're in PA, and she scheduled an appointment in Blue Bell, PA. Her number - 215-488-5938, which she emailed, doesn't go through. I emailed to try to re-schedule and haven't heard anything back yet. After reading this, though, it definitely looks to be a scam. What a shame.

I responded to a craigslist listing a couple of months ago to be a part of a focus group. I just received the call this week saying they would like me to be a part of a focus group for Orbit Tour and Travel, Albany, NY.  Sounded legitimate at first but then I got suspicious. The story is a little different because they did not "get my name" from an event but same players and same "gift" of 2 RT tickets, hotel accomodations, etc. My caller was Brittney Kennedy from Total Focus Research! Wanted me to sit through 90 minute Q&A about travel (with my husband of course) and then someone from Orbit would come in to explain our Winning trip!

My boyfriend and I both (seperately) got this call from Whitney. She didnt tell us the name of the agency until two days before ourmeeting (to be this thurs) and we did get a link to a working website. We are planning on being scammed but are wondering if anyone has ACTUALLY gone to this presentation and what the outcome was? She did tell us up front that we would have to pay tax and fees for the trip.

Same as above - said I was among 20 who won a raffle from the Ski Show in Oct.  Caller was Whitney 630-517-0384 and used the name Orbit Travel (maybe just me, but sure sounded like Orbitz, the huge online travel agency based in Chicago).   I wonder how they're getting the names of people from these shows?

I don't recall participating in any sweepstakes, but I did sign up for ski show email newsletter, so voila, looks like Orbit got a hold of that list ;)
