Fact 1)  The DNC list CLEARLY does not work, everyone should knows this by know, it's a government program that doesn't function like all or most programs they generate.
Fact 2) Filing a complaint with the FCC does not work, a total waste of time; done that.
Fact 3) Having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4) Asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5) No "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy. Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.
Fact 6) Complaining to the BBB is a corrupt organization that sells their ratings to the highest bidder.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones.  They?re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset, and they work beautifully!  These phones also block ?PRIVATE?, ?OUT OF AREA? and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!

At 12:50 am I received a call from this number. I didn't answer it but I saw the comments on it and I'm glad I didn't.  How does a person go about officially reporting this and getting something done about it?

caller anounced himself as an employee of the chamber of commerce and immediately asked if i was "first name" "last name" and that I worked for "business name".  I replied yes and yes.  He then said thank you that is all the details he needed and then hung up on me.  I immediatley called the number back (360 489 9156) and it is not a valid number.

We'd be glad to jump right on implementing your disconnect request, except that we have nothing to do with the people calling you or their telephony services.  

Next ime, spend some time reading the site.  There is a lot of good information here, but no telephone disconnect feature.  Maybe the site owner will add that in the future, I'm sure it would be a very popular service.

I got this call in my office at work.  This is totallky unacceptable.  Please disconnect this number.  I have a feeling it is a Nigerian Scammer who has been calling my cell phone as well.

I got a call from this number about lowering my credit card rate. I DO NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD. These people are SCAMMERS, LOSERS in life. They may legitimately work for collection agencies, but on the side they take peoples phone numbers they have access to and use them for illegal scams, shake downs!

If you do not recognize the phone number, if they can not leave a message like a legitimate business, or the call back number does not go through, then it is 100% SCAM!  THEY WILL REAP WHAT THEY SOW: they steal and someone will steal from them!

I just received a voicemail from this number and she said they are a Direct Mail Program for people in sales.  I don't believe her after reading all of the creditor calls in this webpage.E9

There are tons of "companies" out there who cold call and come up with all kinds of nonsensical stories about one service or another. I have no idea how this can be considered anything other than illegal. DO NOT give out any information to these people, do not converse with them...simply hang up!

To all--------------I have caller I.D. on my phone as most of you do and after a number of these calls (mostly late in the evening) I figured out that if the phone rings only 3 times it is a phishing scam.  Also if you don't recogiinize the number, DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE DUMMIES!

I just had a call from this same number about  an hour ago, but didn't answer, there should be a way to stop this scammers. why can't our phone service companies help us because I think they can pin point where every call is coming from.

Keep gettin calls from 6304899156, the  number has called me over and over again... finally I kept trying to answer to fell them to eat dirt.. but nobody talks..wth? I cant believe people can harass someone like this... we need to figure out as a country how to stop this kind of stuff...

These keep calling my cell.  I answer and they hang up.  I call there number and can't get through.  Isn't there some way to stop/block these damn calls

I keep getting calls from this number on Sat & Sunday's?!?!?!?! I have never answered before. I tried calling back just to let them know it is illegal to contact people on Sundays for anything from Telemarketing to bill collecting & the number does not work.. Who do I contact in having this issue resolved??

I was called from this number on 1/18/13 at 7:30 pm CST. They stated they were calling from JP Morgan Chase. They stated my Chase Mastercard was"locked". I don't have a Mastercard. I hung up. Called the number on the caller id and it was a fast busy / disconnected. Scamming b*****ds.

just got a call, caller left a voicemail msg about saving lots of money, sounded like a bad recording.

Just got this scam call today...I asked for the name and number and some Indian guy on the other end said "I'm so scared." and then continued on with other extremely rude statements.  Of course, when you call the number back, it's disconnected.  I wish that we could somehow get the real name and calling location from these foreign dialers!

received numerous calls the [past few days from this number.  Comes up Illinois on caller id.  Have no idea who it is and leaves no messages.  Please stop calling.  Going to authorities to file police reports and the attorney general and lawsuit for harassment, etc.
