This is a collection agency working for Chase bank on a business credit card.  The collector called at 7AM (against the law).  And is VERY rude on the answering machine (we never answer) She appearently called the business and refused payment and continues to call a signer on the card.

getting the same calls, working very little for 40% of what i used to make and losing house, also trying to put two lawsuits together against hsbc for insurance fraud (would only partially cover payment protection plan 3 mos. instead of 6 on one plan, not at all on the other)...and now I find INT POR MNG and the 630-790-4000 number on VM and ID...plus, i have had health issues...when do I get a break?

They weren't rude, but aggressive.  My complaint is that they claimed they were attorneys -- yep, false representation!

called a business asked for someone who owns this business and said, i replied not here and the man on the other end asked if i knew when this person was sched. This person is the owner of the business no i don't know the sched. for them and he said he would call back when someone knew his sched. Rude...
THE OWNER DID A SEARCH AND FOUND OUT THIS IS STANLEY WEINBERG & ASSOCIATES UNDER A NEW NAME FOR THE COMPANY. THE OWNER SAYS TO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE VERY ILLEGAL TACTICS IN COLLECTING MONEY. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE OWNERS OF THIS COMPANY THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE AND JUST LIKE SO MANY SMALL BUSINESSES TODAY THEY HAVE BEEN HURT BY THE ECONOMY.

Called our business, asked for the owner, he's not in. Took a message, and in response to her rude tone I hung up after taking the message. She called me back, asked for my name, and told me how unprofessional i was. Ha, ha, ha. Look in the mirror sweetheart.

I'm glad this site was here so I could find out what the call was all about.

I know what they are collecting for an my boss has NOTHING to do with it, but they call alllll the time. Worthless.

I'm glad I found this site...that number just popped up on my caller ID showing "Int Por Mng".  Sounded suspicious so I typed the phone number in Google and this is what came up.  We don't owe anyone anything so I don't know why they'd be calling us.

Wow, I'm glad I just found this site! This number 630-790-4000 just called me and some guy named Mr. Porter tells me that Ms. (my last name) has to call me back as soon as possible and that it's a very important situation. He didn't even tell me the company he works for, which right away I made my decision to not call these guys back ever. I figured it was over a credit card I have been trying to pay off thats like less than 2,000. Well I am in a little financial jam at the moment so I figured I will wait til my account gets sold to a better agency or perhaps just do a consolidation. I dont know which one will piss these guys off more but I will find out.

After having a baby 2 weeks ago, I had to take my child to the 2 week check up. I was already running late and I get this phone call, thinking it's a solicitor trying to sell something because the number came up as INT POR MNG. I answered and hung up. He called right back, so I picked up and hung up again. He called back a third time..and I said..HELLLOOO?? With an attitude, like why do you keep calling my phone. He responds, HELLLOOO?? right back, like he knew me or something. I said.. who is this? he asks who is this?? It went on and on, I started using profanity because I was so irritated. I had to go, so, I just hung up again. Then he calls right back again and leaves a message on my voice mail threatning that we need to call him back asap. YEA RIGHT!! After that first phone call, I don't think so.

I got a vm on my cell phone today that said "This message is for susan... I mean (my name)."  The whole rigamarole of important to call us back, blah blah, this is not a sales call, blah blah blah.  As a matter of principle, I don't return calls of people who don't identify their companies.  There's too much scamming going on these days, that I'm not going to just pay some person on the phone without any sort of paperwork/bill to go on.

After illness, hospitalization and 2 weeks later a divorce, (all while unemployed) I was left with credit card debt. The financial advice professionals give, is to call your creditors and work out a payback program with them; don't ignore the calls.  So I called the collection agencies and they (all 3) YELLED, SCREAMED at me, wouldn't let me even speak.  They said things such as this: YOU OWE the money, we don't want excuses, we want the MONEY!  People like YOU think you can get away with not paying your bills!" etc.  I asked them to stop yelling at me.  They didn't even hear me because their voice was so loud and they never stopped yelling.  I couldn't believe it.  I tried to say; "I'm trying to explain how I can pay you back." But they didn't even hear me.  I put up with the screaming and ranting and raving  on each call for about 10 - 15 minutes thinking that they would eventually stop their screaming in anger at me and let me have a chance to speak.  But not one of them did.  Finally I would say; "Ok, this is abusive and if you don't stop by the count of 3 I am going to hang up." And then I did.  They were still screaming. I don't think they even heard me say that!  I am now recording all my phone calls and keeping the messages they leave on my voice mail.  Check the laws of your state to see if you need to notify the other party you are recording their calls/messages.  In some states you don't need to.  This company is just one of many that are using this scare tactic.  It's time for a class action lawsuit folks.  Anyone know a good attorney who wants a lot of publicity for this?!  I say we take the tape recordings to the media; maybe Dateline NBC even, and get some laws changed.  Anyone interested in joinging the band wagon? There is power in numbers.  It's time to take back control from the crooked corporations.

These people have been calling me for months and months and months leaving threatening messages on my voicemail directed at some name I'm never heard of.  Today I answered the phone when it rang to find some jerk who immediately called me the name of this guy they are always refer to in the voice mails.  I said that's not my name and the guy said he wanted to speak to the guy.  Already annoyed at his attitude I realized this guy is calling me and not identifying himself and asking for someone who doesn't exist and so I asked him to identify himself, which he refused.  He refused to say the name of his company.  He kept ordering me to get this guy on the phone that he was asking for, the non-existent person.  I asked if he knew what the do-not-call list is.  He said, with an attitude "No, do you?"  I replied that yes I do know, and that I'm on it.  Then he kept going on about how I had no idea what the national do not call registry was and inferred i was just making it up.  I tried to tell him that it was against the law to call someone on the list, he was yelling and talking over everything I tried to say.  I couldn't get a word in edgewise as this guy just kept yelling at me and telling me he was no intimidated by me.  I wasn't trying to intimidate him, I was trying to let him know that I thought he was a jerk.  I called him as a** or some unappealing name like that once I got sick of being yelled at and kept from speaking, I was getting really ticked off at the nerve of this guy to call me up, cold, demanding answers and asking about someone who did not exist.  He eventually hung up the phone after I did not cooperate for long enough, but what a jerk.  I just can't believe that people can intrude into someone's personal home like that and behave in such a cocksure manner, as if he had every right to talk to me the way he did and every right to interrogate me, whilst refusing to even identify his company.

The info at this site seems to suggest this is a collection agency of some kind, but I have no debts and have never heard of this guy they keep asking for.  They are harassing me for no reason and there is no excuse for behaving that way.  Future callers get what they get from me.  I have no inclination to be polite to people who treat me that way, barking commands and orders without even identifying themselves.

Called my home phone which is on the Do-Not-Call list and asked for me by name.  I told him he was not speaking to that person.  He said "Listen, I am in kind of a bind, here and I wonder if you can help me.  I wonder if you are familiar with a man who lives next door at such and such an address with such and such a name.  I told him no.  I have no idea who that is.  (I happen to know my neighbors are getting calls from this place too and they are ticked.)  A few days prior to this I had been getting calls almost every other night from 1-800-521-3236 ext. 4554 (Carol) asking for the same neighbor.  I called them to tell them they have the wrong number.  They asked me if I was associated with the Missing Children's Foundation.  I said no.

Got a call from this number the day i received a letter in the mail saying that my energy bill was unpaid. I had recently moved and apparently never received my last bill. So 5 months later they sent it out to a collection agency trying to get back their whopping $13. So this number is for a collection agency that I unfortunately didn't write the name down for. The guy was very helpful and I settled my bill. If you have unpaid bills and you receive a call from this number, answer at your discretion I guess.

I have received many calls from this phone. They never identified whose calling and just they ask for someone I have no clue. They are calling me since Feb-2007. I told them wrong number and asked them to remove my phone number from their list and they never did it. They call from different phones.
They are unprofessional guys, they don't even tell me why they are calling on number.

Recieved calls from Stanley/Jeff.  Left messages and was very aloof in his messages and told me via message that I should have the common courtesy to return his call since he called me.  He then proceeded to call my son and my wife on thier cell phones.

Called my cell phone. I don't give my cell phone out to anyone! Identified himself as Jeff. I was driving and said call back in about an hour. He never called back, but if he does, I will block the number. Serious invasion of my privacy!

Mr. Randolph called asked one of my employee's why whenever he called I was out, my employee stated she could not answer that, I do own my own company and in and out and with clients all day, he said he wanted to talk to a manager and she said that the only people were the owners. He asked if he could leave another message and the employee stated yes he went through the first name and then stated never mind I will get to her a different way. Very Rude and started releasing confidental infromation for which I could sue them for what I owe. We have had a tough time financially and yes we do owe but you don't have the right to release information to an employee.
