I have know problems what's so ever here. I've been using the same sweeper here for 2 cleanings. I'm trying to find info about chimney solutions, because that's who lied to me. They gave me a 50.00 off coupon and and jacked the price up to 175. No deal there. NEVER USE CHIMNEY SOLLUTIONS or superior chimney. 4 stars to the chimney sweeps. Always polite when they call too.

The company didn't get sold, or if it did they are using the same telemarketing methods listed in other posts. I got a call a few days ago about the "special". This guys shows up and does a shoddy job that took about 10 minutes (according to a friend of mine who was doing some tile work for me that day), I had been called into work for a couple of hours by the time chimney sweeper had arrived.

The sweeper called my cell and offered to put a new stainless steel cap on my furnace vent for $150.  We have had two dead birds blocking that vent so I agreed.  Then he went on about tuck-pointing that we needed.  We had been getting some quotes for that in the last few weeks so I thought I knew what to expect.  He said on the phone that he would do everything for $500 dollars which seemed like a good deal based on the tuck-pointing quotes we had received.  

When I arrived home he was mortaring the outside chimney.  He finished and presented me with a bill for over $700 dollars!!  When I asked what happened to the $500 dollar amount we agreed on, he said $500 was just for the tuck-pointing.  And the tuck-pointing job looks pretty shoddy too.   He wanted me to pay by check, but I insisted on paying by credit card to give me time to explore legal recourse before I lose all that money.

We were called by this company at least 20 times before we finally answered out of frustration.  We indicated we had not used our chimney since purchasing the house and had no intention of doing so. We said, DO NOT CALL US ANYMORE!  The calls continued and on a least six occasions we asked that we be removed from their call list.  so apologetic, but "sorry we have a new phone system we are still trying to work out the bugs."  We even called and spoke to "the owner" John who insisted he would remove us from the list.  This has continued to almost two years.  Quick you lying John because it has been over two years of harrasment from your company.  Do NOT give this individual your money or even your time as they will hound you at all hours without mercy!

I just gat a call from (630) 825-0169 at 3:28 A.M. this morning. The caller ID said "ASCS", whatever that means. As soon as I answered it, they hung up. I called the number back and it was busy. I guess the inside info Bill had was not true.

That would be nice but I doubt is actually true. Who would want to buy this POS? These kind of companies are typically not worth much.  Think about it, what kind of brains would it really take to start a company like this. It this idiot could do it, anyone could. Why would someone pay them?

I have inside information that this company has been sold as of 02/23/2008 and the new owners will no longer be marketing their services through the telemarketing medium. Thank god we can all rest easy now,no more calls.

So John, since you are not smart enough to understand the law there are some web sites from the FTC that you should see. Here is some information that you could have someone out side of your company (who can read) explain to you.

You are in violation of the law. So figure out how to use the DNC or you may be getting a lawsuit soon.

Hi,this is John. Just to reply to some of these posts. It would be completely impossible for my company to have been calling any number for 3 years only because my new predictive dialing system has only been operating for a little over a year. In addition we would never intentionally keep calling you if you are not interested in our products or services. Also we ARE a member of the DNC registry and because we do a final face to face sale with no financial info EVER conducted over the phone we are slightly exempt from the full interpretation of the ruling. In addition please always feel free to call my main company number @847-301-2001 to have me personally remov e your name from my database list if it has been getting accidentally recalled numerous times. Good day.

Searching turned up a want ad from this guy.  Maybe calling that number would get the calls to stop.

Hate to tell you this but 'it will never stop'  I have been attempting to get them to stop calling me for over 3 years now to no avail.  I have a police case, over 10 complaints with the national do not call list.  I have been trapping the damn calls with *57 after openeing a harrasing case with the phone company.  Nothing they still call.

Receive repeated calls from this number which I don't answer. The Caller ID says JOHN WESTELL. It is an unlisted Roselle, IL number and I found a chimney sweep company there whose owner is John Westell. I have no idea why they would keep calling here, but I wish they'd stop.
