Land line phone rang.  Caller ID Downers Grove IL.  Did not pickup.  Only rang about one ring, so they wouldn't even have reached voicemail.

My phone rang at 11:02 a.m. when I was not at home.  Call ID said Downers Grove, Illinois and the number.  I know no one in Illinois and would not have answered even if I had been at home when the call came in.  My mortgage has been paid off for nearly 20 years, so I don't know how or why they got my number.  

Another number to enter into my Pro Call Blocker, so if they ever call again it will immediately cut them off and my phone won't even ring.

Got a call from this number today. Hung up when I answered the phone.It is a telemarketer for some refinance co.
Bunch  of jerks. Am on the do not call number

Came up as Pay Processing on ID. Hung up upon answering.

Despite the fact that we are registered with the "DO NOT CALL LIST" we continue to get these calls from ,in this case a Reverse Mortgage company and earlier this AM a recorded messge from "John" from Medical Devise Co. in California (calls daily). Can't something be done with these spam people who have nothing better to do that bother good law abiding people?

I avoid these calls by having/using a google voice number for my main and official number. That way, I get a list of the missed calls and/or messages. If I do not recognize the number or am curious I can "google" the number. If it comes up on 1 of these sites, I can safely ignore.
PS reverse mortgage calls usually result from medicare, ss, or AARP applications or inquiries.
