Calls multiple times a day with out a voicemail.

Called let it ring forever before dropping call.  Calls often and from what I can tell is a tele marketer trying to waste my minutes

Damn Scam

I get called by this number on my cell phone and get a recorded message about debt reduction.

They call my cell a dozen times a day.  Just started about a week ago.

This is getting so annoying. They call me all the time. I don't care about that damn scam.

There was no message. I didn't answer.

I didnt answer and they didnt leave a message.

What is this one? Another consolidation company spamming calls??

No, it doesn't work when you call them back.  They ask you to press 3 to be removed from their call list, but this doesn't work.  I've tried this at least four times since last month. The calls keep coming every single f****ng day.  I can't get them to stop, no matter what I do.  I contacted Verizon to find out how to block these calls, but they want to charge me another $4.95/month for their "number blocking service."  I did not ask to be spammed when I upgraded my phone and I will not pay more money to Verizon to resolve a problem THEY REFUSE TO ADDRESS.

I got a call after having my debit card stolen last month as part of a crime wave in the area of stolen debit cards and credit cards by an out of state and overseas group who ran up unauthorized charges on the account then planned to steal the replacement cards posing as the care provider for their victims as well as sell their property to pay their bills. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY FInancial Information- I was robbed to get my card out of my wallet by being drugged and knocked out while doing my laundry at the laundry mat, and this group premeditated not only taking my card, running up unauthorized bills, but then called in to the bank posing as a good Samaritan to report the unauthorized use as though I was being taken advantage of by someone who was getting me to use my limited funds on them, instead of knocked out and robbed, to make me appear to need a protective payee instead of the person robbing me and their group, who did not have any money to pay off their debts before this. they also stole a pair of socks as well. They now want to walk a mile in my moccasins, but sadly, alas, those too, were stolen out of my storage unit by people wanting to pass as AmerIndians to get free health care services via Obamacare. Maybe someone will have to file a Federal Report to Congress on the amount of abuse this situation has set up .

Miranda, I wouldn't put much faith in what scammers say, he may be lying about the 7 days.

I got the same recording sarah got. What really upsets me is that I receive these calls all the time and now to unsubscribe, it says that i have to wait 7 days for them to cancel. I didn't even subscribe to anything and now I have to put up with the calls every day for 7 more days? What's that about?!

i missed the call the first time i got one...and i have family in the area but i didnt recognize the number so i didnt bother calling back then i search the number and pulled up this forum, which im happy i didnt. i called the number back and it was saying that my house was up for special offers in their Identity Theft Program and $200 walmart vouchers and gave me the option to cancel the phone calls, so i did.

left no message and I a being stalked from someone with this area code to it makes me very nervous. I want to find how to block it without using my quota for blocking calls on my cell.

they call at least once a week. I see their ID and do not pick up the phone, but it is still annoying.

These morons are constantly calling to "reduce my credit card debt" when I don't have a credit card. When I press 3 to remove my number from their list, they call again a week later.

Got a call from this # on my cell.  No v.m. and callback resulted in the "auto-removal" option.

Call came from an auto dialer (I thought these were illegal now), but I clicked through to see what they had. Financial Education - the generic name of their company, spoke to "Bill" after selecting how much debt I wanted them to reduce with this "new program from the President's stimulus package"...after some querying he admitted that this was an "indirect" program resulting from the banks getting "all that money" so now they are required to pass on some savings to the little people. I asked where we could read up on this program..."Ma'am, you don't need to read about, I'm telling you.....blah blah blah". And no I didn't give them my checking account information that he asked for. What do you think...I'm nuts or something? I was just curious with all the phone calls I get nearly every day, so now I know.

file a complaint with the FCC.
Telemarketers cannot call cell phones, if you get one, file a complaint with the FCC.
Also, telemarketers cannot call after 10PM, if they do. File a complaint with the FCC.  I used to work at the FCC, and they do go after these telemarketers, but there has to be enough complaints filed. 100 complaints is enough to be referred to the Enforcement bureau for investigation, but a complaint has to be filed.  Go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm  and follow the prompts. Or call 1-888-225-5322 and ask to file a 1088 about telemarketers.
