I do't have debts and don't appreciate them bothering me. I am on the DO Not Call List! I guess it means nothing. So Sad!

I have made 3 complaints to the FTC & 1 to the Do Not Call agency. Evidently, they've done nothing or couldn't do anthing because the calls keep coming, sometimes up to 3 a day & as late as 10:30. As of now (6/3/11) I have a list if 16 different phone numbers these people use. I never answer the call & they do not leave a mess.

Debt Relif WCA...amazing how someone can call about debt when the only cards I use is to purchase gasoline and they are paid in full every month. Must be phishing for account information - wouldn't leave a message...I'm basing this on the information about this number that has been added below...

For "IJD" - no one needs to do a roundabout of anything in order to annoy us all:
The FCC in the U.S. can legally only act on calls from American scamsters to American #s.
Further, the CRTC in Canada can legally only act on calls from Canadian scamsters (pollsters, newspapers and other nuisances who managed, by lobbying, to escape legislation) to Canadian #s.
There is NO cross-border cooperation between the two government agencies to protect the citizens of each country from the scamsters of the neighbouring country. It is something citizens in both nations should be lobbying for: ONE continental agency to work with law enforcement and the telcos to pursue, shut down, charge, try, fine (and hopefully imprison!) scamsters in Canada and the USA.
