It must be a pretty s****y job if they have to aggressively pursue people like that. Not leaving messages when they call is pretty shady as well. I wouldn't want the damned job anyway.

I just got a interview call from them and I have never applied to this company. I thought of looking them up... and there is no trace of them. Such a big scam running for so many years :(

I got a call from these folks. They wanted to set up an interview. So I asked the girl on the phone what the job entails and how compensation is paid(hourly, salaried or commission). She said she doesn't have that information, and the interviewer would know. So I told her if someone could get me that information,  I'd be happy to set up an interview. The interview was in a town that's a good distance away, and I wanted to be sure it was worth the trip. She very rudely told me "well, apparently this job isn't for you" and hung up. I honestly thought my question was reasonable.

I am receiving unwanted calls from this number and I want them to stop. Stop calling 7738918971 and 7734840878.

I received a call from Jennifer stating that she was calling from American Income and she calling to set up an interview for my son. She stated she go his information from the resume he submitted online.

got a call but no voice-mail message, call back don't ring, dead silent...very annoying calls!!!!!! wish they would just stop, i'm not selling or buying anything!!!!

I received a call from this number and I did not answer it since I had no idea who it was. So I checked what the number was here online and from reading these responses sounds like an annoying telemarketer trying to get people lured in to work for them. Thank goodness I did not answer the phone!

American Income Life Insurance Company. They'll call anybody with an online resume and claim they want to interview you. As aggressive as they are they can't be a legitimate employer..

I just received a message on my answering machine from American Income, 1-910-8800 EXt. 290 from a woman name Bathany.  She said that she saw my resume on Careerbulider.com and wanted me to come in from an interview.  When I called the number, it is always busy.  I looked up the company on the internet and it is in Woodridge, too far anyway.

Thanks a lot you guys I just got a call from them to talking about a job offer from American income from the human resource department is that a kind of strange to me because my resumes for dental assisting not for sales or doing accounting type information there anything like that but thanks a lot for your post

Got a phone call today for an interview....fortunately I wasn't at home to take the call and googled the number because I didn't recognize the company. Don't know where they found my resume, but never applied for any job with them.

I get a lot of calls from people like this as well. It's most likely a scam. I don't understand why they do that and how it's considered a "scam"... These people are probably trying to get you to do your own insurance sales and whatnot. I never answer these calls that are in unfamiliar areas.

Got a call from them today, before I would get emails when I had had my resume on Monster.com, but I'm not looking to be a sales person for an insurance company. I will not be calling them back, even though I am currently seeking a new job. The number that called was 630-910-8800, and the woman's name was Theresa from their HR department.

I recieved a call from Shannon at ext 289 to bring me in for an interview as they saw my resume on Careerbuilder. I do not have my resume public on there whereas it's private so I avoid calls like this happening, identity theft and so on.

I Google'd the phone # and came across many posts about jobs they are offering at American Income in Woodridge. I don't believe I applied for a job there as that's too far from my house.

I'm going to alert Careerbuilder to this call today as they need to know about scam job calls especially to their online community who keeps all their info private.

I just received a call and voicemail from this number. This lady named Rachel said she was calling from the human resources department at American Income. She wanted me to set up a time for an interview. Ummm, excuse me, it would be nice to know the following... A. How you came across me and my resume because that would be a little professional. B. Describe what kind of position it is before we continue wasting both our times. C. Explain the company a little and where it's located. I swear you post your resume somewhere and you instantly get flooded with people like this wasting your time with voicemails or emails who just want to fill some sales position because they can't proper train someone from that position and keep them with their company long enough to last. I apply for positions I want, not for scams like this!

I got a call from this number, 6309108800, and let them leave a message.  It was 'Rachel' in the HR dept. trying to set up an interview with me.  I did not apply to this job either!  WOW, how do these people think they can keep scamming others??  We are not stupid and know where we applied to and where we did not.  Thanks for all of your comments, I will NOT be calling them back either.

They called me today for a job I didn't respond to call but googled the number and this what I found so I will not call them but to yell them bug off

The same thing happened to me yesterday, when I tried to call back this number I heard a busy signal, so weird!

This number has been harassing me for over a month with no voicemails ever left. I also used to have life insurance through them from when I worked for a Union. i think its time to block the calls.

That number called me today, no message left.  I did reverse look-up because I hate when people don't leave messages - why the heck do I have an answering machine???

Interesting... I have a life insurance policy through these people.  I got it back when my husband worked for a union.  Now if they are calling regarding my policy, why wouldn't they leave a message?  Very unprofessional.  Something isn't right, and if they are pulling some kind of scam somewhere, whether in offering jobs or policies, unions should NOT be working with them!
