No message- although as a previous posted experienced, I was on their website one day ago and downloaded a free PDF article after providing some information. I provided them with a different phone number and e-mail (that belongs to a low-level staff person) to obtain the free article so I wouldn't be bothered by telemarketers.  The article was basically a 30 page advertisement for their products (I can't comment on the quality as I stopped reading when it became apparent the article was intended to persuade CPA Firms to buy their products). They must have spent some time looking for our Firm's main line and calling a day or two later.

I have been receiving emails from accountantsworld.com for a few years now.  Yesterday, I completed a survey that had to do with white papers and gave phone info for a gift card.  This is the only time they have contacted me by phone since I have been receiving emails from them so you must have given a contact number when you visited the website.  My point is that they don't harass or telemarket unless prompted.

I am an accountant and spent some time on accountantsworld.com website yesterday. Now today this number shows up on the caller ID. Do they have a way of knowing who is checking out their website? I didn't answer because we don't answer calls that look like telemarketing. They didn't leave a message.

Name on Caller ID was CENTRAISLIP NY.

Call came from Central Islip, New York to Kansas at 09:44 hours CDT on 4-26-11. Call not answered  and no message left Caller ID said Accountants World. On the net, they can be found at:

This appears to be directed to accountants, although I have no connection to that field.
