I ask this person not to call me again since i was no the do not call list and that I would report him if he did this is the third time it since i know it s a scam.

Got a call from this number today, didn't recognize the number on my caller ID, so I checked it out here...so happy I did.  Obviously, we did not pick up.

I got a call at 12:29pm I did not waste my time to answer it.   I knew it was some foreigner nasty excrement loser calling my phone that I pay for.     So much for this DNC again this FAILED F****D UP GOV'T DOES NOT RIGHT.

I don't live in NY, but outside of Philly, and we don'thave con ed . . . ugggh . . . I don't much mind telemarketers, can't blame a person for earning a living, however, when I can't understand them and they are touting an American product or service is where I have to draw the line . . .

I've been getting calls from this number every day (sometimes multiple times a day). Now that I have caller ID, I don't answer if I don't recognize the number. I admit that I finally got annoyed with them calling me everyday, so I finally answered. I didn't pick up on whether this was a company wanting to help me lower my ConEd bill, Hopefully by blocking the number, I've been able to get the calls to stop. I've never known a telemarketer to be so desperate to contact me that they take to calling me every single day, hoping I will answer.

Scam outfit - Utility Expense Reduction - trying to get you to switch power companies.  Just wait till you try and cancel - huge fees.  Also they tell you they will send you the terms after you sign up.  Dont be sfoolish enough to give them your account number from a Con Ed Bill.  You will be really sorry.

Have gotten several calls from themin the past two weeks. They say they want to lower my gas and electric bills. Last two times the caller was the same woman with a heavy accent.

These losers called me again today, let the answering machine with the disconnected line tone handle it this time, hopefully that stops them.

Fast talking loser scammer using deceptive language that they're calling from ConEdison to help lower your utility bill.  I could not make out the ESCO company name, as they would quickly mention it with their heavy accent, they were most likely calling from a call center in India and spoofing their number on caller id to make it seem like a call coming from NY State.  Whatever you do, do not get a recent ConEdison bill and give them your account number, they will most likely switch you over to some ESCO and over-charge you for electric and/or gas rates.

That is interesting. They called hear a little over a week ago and again today. I would say it is a scam. The irony is that my brother couldn't manage a credit card bill with a $2 balance and I have been stuck with his creditors over 10 to 20 years ago. But I am sure it is a scam.

Been getting calls from this number at least weekly for a couple of months and believe they called last year. I think it's a scammer pretending you owe a payday loan. This guy has a very thick accent and once he gets you on the first couple of rings will say he's from a fake law firm, like ACME law firm,, and then proceeds to say you owe a few thousand on a payday loan. Truly believe this is who is behind this phone number.
