I'm currently in the same predicament with F&G. My mother (age 80), added my name to her money market account for funeral expenses upon her death. They froze this account and she is now devastated. I told them that I'm willing to settle the account if I gave them 50% of what I owe and be put on a payment plan for the remainder. They are not budging. I was wondering what the outcome was with you. I appreciate it. All the best!

My room mate just contacted the Langel Firm...Jesse Langel...and they apparently sue Forster and Garbus...A LOT!!  So hopefully he can work some magic here.  She doesn't need this s*** right now!  Seriously!  After a friggen cancer scare, that kept her out of work for at least a month...she's JUST getting back on her feet and still dealing with this lung issue!  I have some things to say, but it could get ME into trouble!

They are doing the same thing to my room mate!  All she got was a "Personal and Confidential Notice to Judgement Debtor" a couple of years ago...which she HAS been making payments on and because she had a health scare (which she is STILL dealing with) and hasn't been able to pay because of being on disability...they have a f****ng hissy fit and started garnishing her wages...THIS WEEK!

Hopefully my room mate will have the same successful result.  The only thing she received was something from the Marshal's office a couple of years ago.  Other than that, she received NOTHING!  It's been three months since she made a payment, but we had circumstances.  There was a couple of months there where we thought that she had lung cancer and was on disability.  She was concerned about SURVIVING!  These a***oles are nothing but that...a***oles!  When she told the Marshal's office that, THEY were even surprised and told her to contact them.  Forster and Garbus can go to HELL!!

That is incorrect.  They, in fact, are garnishing my room mate's wages as of last week!  She spoke to them today and got the same rudeness from them.  She then contacted an attorney.  We will see what happens, but they ARE garnishing her wages.

This number is for Foster & Garber, a collection agency.  They started calling me daily when I sent in 1 payment on my Target Visa that was $50 less than the minimum payment!  They sent me a note saying that if I payed 2/3 of my balance, they would consider it complete and close the account.  But I needed to send it immediately.  Just curious, If I had $3000 available, I wouldn't have sent in a short payment!!!!!!

its an answering, taking your credit card  number for a debt....call the co. they feel you owe the debt too and just send payments directly to the initial company, do not speak to these people anyore

your information is totally correct...its and answering service collecting credit card number from people.

how are they leaving voicemails on other employess answering machines...this is called bullying and harrassment...call the co you owe money to and make arrangements..

Most firmst will not speak to theses people anymore...its called harassment on the job...do not speak to these people advise your firm not to speak to these people..

they do not send statments..they only want your personal numbers..i would change your number and stop deductions...pay the firm directly

CHANGE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS ASAP...AND CALL THE CREDIT CARD CO ITSELF.

they are not permitted to freeze anything. i work for a lawfirm myself and we do not that.

just simply make the payment to the company you owe...do not speak to anyone but the credit card company..once you find the amount if there is one...then mail it to your credit card services..

do not speak to these people. i've said this 1000 times...call the co. and find out whats going on .. .if there is not debt then have the credit card co handle it....your keep speaking to them and you people getting into these jams

why are you associating with these people? its beyond me....i've said 400 times do not speak to these people, make arrangements other ways with no conversations  ==  the above review sounds like the company itself threatening the public

call the company they are accusing you of not paying and make arrangements with them..these people have too much information on you as it is.

do not give them any of your personal numbers either...

they are nasty and rude. they appear to have access to social security numbers...they also do not aplogize for anything...they harass you for your credit card number thats it...

just pay the bill through the company they are accusing you of not paying.
