Big time scam artists! There was an article on ABC News about this. They call & threaten to 'process' and 'download' federal charges. They have told me all kinds of lies about some loan supposedly deposited to Bank of America account. I've NEVER in my life had an account with BofA! All types of threats, from "we will create public scandal for your employer" to "We are sending someone to pick you up" to "There will be a Sheriff at your office in 20 minutes to pick you up" to "you are being pursued for federal charges" to "We will lock your social security number so you can no longer work in your country." RIDICULOUS. They are 100% scam, and I have reported them to the FBI, Interpol, local police & Sheriff's departments. Do the same, and don't pay them a dime. Hang up when they call.

I have received the same call from the same number. Apparently a friend of mine took out a payday loan and used me as a reference. These people are damanding that I pay my friends loan. They are also calling my sister who is her friend too. They have threatened to freeze my social and credit reports if I dont pay. They claim to have my social but when I ask them to tell me what it is they cant. I have been a bill collector before and know that these people are breaking numerous laws. I have also made a complaint about them.

I got a call today from one of their people. This is the third time they've called in the last 6 months. In each call, they start yelling that my son owed money to some company and since I was the co-signer, so I should pay the bill. Their tactic was to yell about the owed money, so I had a hard cutting them off. I said in this country (two of them had an Indian accent, one didn't), that such legal matters are intiated by sending documents in the mail, not by cold phone calls.  I reminded each one that these calls are fraudulent and told them if one is convicted of fraud, they go to prison. I then hung up, so don't know what the responses were.
Report them to the authorities.

i work for a phone company and had a customer call in about this number calling every day. unfortunately there is little you can do with police, etc. and BBB doesn't even care. there are things that your phone company can do, some at a cost and some not.  you are not completely helpless though, you do have options.

They had me and my husband's social. They said they would come to my place of work. They called for my husband first and I told them that he doesnt have bank account. They called a second time and asked for me and started harassing me and said to let them speak or else, since i figured it was bs all along, but shocked that they knew my family members names. He said you are the "MF" after I said not to call my MF-ING house anymore!

"United States of Crime Department" ... Indian scammers. Hang up on them. They don't have your complete social security number. They may have the last four digits and want you to "verify" the rest (ie. give them your complete social). Caller ID information can be faked using the internet. Search for fake caller ID just like you did to find this page. Come on people. Stop being so stupid.

The only thing that makes me feel at ease is to see this obviously is a scam. Everything that has been said to all of you guys is EXACTLY what we keep hearing. I know that I don't owe them a dime so it makes it easy for me to mess with them when they call. I tried just taking a message they call even more... The fact that they have our social number's makes me very nervous... With all these postings you would like to think the goverment would step in and block these Piece of S---! When will they listen to us??

I have been getting these calls for the past several months. I figured it is a scam. I don't know how to get these guys to stop calling. Obviously they are foreign. I could hardly understand the last caller. I just worry what info they have actually gotten! I am going to try to call them today and see what BS they give me. Will threaten them with the Attorney General's office. HOwever, they obviously know that these agencies arent' going to do anything about them, so they just keep it up. How can we get these agencies to take it seriously?

I WAS CALLED BY THESE PEOPLE STATING THAT I HAD RECIEVED A PAY DAY LOAN FROM THIS COMPANY FOR THE AMOUNT OF 350.00 AND THAT HE HAD ALL OF MY INFORMATION IN FRONT OF HIM AND THAT HE WAS CALLING FROM THE US. CRIME SUPPORT DEPARTMENT. AND THAT I HAD FAILED TO FULLFILL MY PAYBACK OBLIGATIONS. HE TOLD ME I HAD ONE HOUR TO PROVIDE HIM WITH THE MONEY TO BE SENT BY "MONEYGRAM" TO TYRELL GRAHAM, IN RALEIGH NC. AND THEN CALL HIM BACK WITH A 8 DIGIT RECEIPT NUMBER.  I ASKED HIM THE "ATTORNEY'S" NAME AND HE STATED IT WAWS WILL WILCOX FROM NEW YORK.  BEFORE TRANSFERRING THE FUNDS TO HIM I CALLED MY BANK AND HAD THEM LOOK UP MY ACCOUNT FOR THE DAY AND MONTH THAT HE SAID THIS TRANSACTION HAD OCCURRED THEY INFORMED ME THAT NO SUCH TRANSACTIONS HAD OCCURED. I THEN TYPED THIS NUMBER ON THE COMPUTER AND FOUND SEVERAL OTHER COMPLAINTS AGAINST THESE PEOPLE ANDT THEY NEEDED TO BE STOPPED.

Big time scam artists! There was an article on ABC News about these guys:
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/Story?id=5621205&page=1

They go by "United States Crime Suspect Department" or "US National Bank" usually, and they call from all different numbers. They get your information off the internet somehow, particularly if you have applied for a payday loan (even if you didn't get one). They call & threaten to 'process' and 'download' federal charges. They have told me all kinds of lies about some loan supposedly deposited to my Bank of America account. I've NEVER in my life had an account with BofA! They even had an account number, which of course wasn't mine (again I've never had a BofA account of any type.) They refuse to validate any information about your supposed debt, or about their company. Sure sign of BS! They will call your employer and ask for the HR department, and tell them that you used company information to take a loan and defaud them. They are 100% scam artists, and I have reported them to the FBI, Interpol, local police & Sheriff's departments, FTC, and Attorney General. Do the same, and don't pay them a dime. Hang up when they call. It's a scam and nothing else.

Same people are calling me leaving crazy messages such as "Very bad things are going to happen to you if you do not return my call.  Someone may be waiting for you to leave work and take you and do bad things to you."  At the end of several messages he said "Only God can help you if you don't call."  I saved the messages and reported it to the FTC today and they already responded to my complaint.  They can call and ask you about the money but they can not start threatening to harm you or having someone harm you. One way to stop them is to ask for their city or county jurisdiction and badge #. They at least switched to a different # everytime and then eased up.  Apparently they are smart enough to know the consequences of impersonating law enforcement but too dumb to realize that any threat made in this capacity by phone is a federal crime.
