I just got a call from this woman at 21st Century RP Brides saying I won 3 gifts: a 3-day, 2-night stay at a hotel, a $1000 grocery coupon and some other stuff - except I had hung up at that time - because fortunately while she was blabbing I looked up the number and found these comments. What a scam and how frustrating when you're trying to plan a wedding and people call with scams - so annoying.

I just recieved a call from a private number. They left a voicemail stating I had won a bridal package and a vacation to call Jennifer (21st Century RP Brides) back at 631-271-2025 ext. 2130. Also that I had only a few days to claim the prize. I had registered on David's Bridal to look for my wedding gown. Glad I didn't call them.

I sure am glad that my gut instinct was to check the info out online first! I too received a call from this RP Bridal, but from a Nathan. Caller id showed 608-663-1186, but the callback number mentioned in the message was 800- 676-4731. He said I won a package gift and that they could not hold it long so I needed to claim it right away. Now I did not purchase anything at Davids Bridal, and I also checked the do not share info box when I filled out their form. Clearly that was a mistake to fill out in the first place. This is not the first call of this type since I filled that out. Even Davids Bridal personnel called and called me, until I told them I found a dress elsewhere. That is when all of these calls started. Shame shame Davids Bridal. I will not likely shop with them again. Thanks for all of the posts warning of this scam!

I received a call from 631-271-2025 but didn't answer the phone call, but when I checked my voicemail she said her name was Christina calling from cookware  and that I should call her back at 631-271-2025 x 3842 about a sweepstakes that I had entered she also said that she could only the gown and the trip for a limited time.  At this point I was getting married in 3 weeks so I already had everything I needed.  I thought maybe for a second to call but when I googled the number all this good stuff came.  It seems like it maybe all be linked to David's Bridal....  I too did get my gown & bridal dresses at David's Bridal. Let's just say I'm not going to waste the time calling them back....  but should they call I'll just tell them I already have everything I need- Thanks but NO thanks!

I got the phone call from 631-470-7339.  "Joanne" left me a message telling me I wont a package from the bridal show I recently attended at my reception site.  I became suspicious she the call bac number was 691-271-8475 ext 8475. Ofcourse the number didn't work.  I too registered at David's Bridal....thanks you SOB's for selling my info!

Just got a call that came up as 631-470-5786. The voicemail said to call Cassandra at the awards center of some business. She gave the name but I couldn't understand it sounded like something with an 'S' Bridal. She could only hold my package for a short time so I should call right away at 631-271-2025 x1179

Dana from "Chef Foil Bridal" 631-470-5786.  Told me I won some Prizes  I told her I was at work. She called back and left her extension 9877.  I did not call back because I found this site as I was trying to find her web site.

I received a call from...    LESLIE,   She went through this whole script about the fantastic package I had won.. half way through the message  she started to  LAUGH.....   I found this very funny and completely unprofessional even for a scam artist at least pull it together and act and sound like you know what you are talking about   LESLIE !!!!!!.    I let my sister listen to it and we both had a good laugh...   and yhe comment made above one of the so called employees of RP bridal maybe you should learn to spell CALL before standing behind a bunch of CONARTISTs..........

I also received the call saying I had won a list of three prizes.  The caller also stated I entered a drawing at a bridal show and won.  I have never been to a bridal show much less entered into a drawing.  I have also received other unsolicited calls and after googling them, they all link back to David's Bridal.  I even checked the box to not share my info... I also will never again step foot into your low class store!

I just received the same kind of phone call.  Debbie from 21st Century RP Bridal called saying I won a bridal package and trip.  She said I was selected from a drawing for the National Bride.  How I needed to call her back at 631-271-2025 ext. 3910 to get my limited time gifts.  I never entered a drawing...so I automatically thought SCAM...google'd the company she said she was from and saw this site.  I really hate SCAMS!  I will def. NOT be calling "Debbie" back.  What does this do for their Scamming company?  Do they get paid for every phone call?  Do they trick ppl into giving their personal information and take $$ from them.  These people need to be stopped!

I received a call today on my cell phone from the telephone #631-470-2886. Her name was Simone and she stated that I was recently at a Bridal Expo (which I was) and supposedly my name was drawn for a prize. She told me to give her a call at 631-271-2025. I thought that the area code was weird because if she was at the Bridal Expo, then her area code would have been a local area code, for DC, MD, or VA, not 631. I did not answer because I am at work and she called on my cell and I did not recognize the number. I decided to look the name up because I did not remember giving my information to anyone by that name at the Expo. I'm glad I looked it up and found this site. They will get a mouth full when and if they call back. I registered with David's Bridal a while ago in June so I don't think its them. This did not happen until I went to the Expo!

I just got the same call everyone else here has explained.  I googled 21st century brides and luckily I found this website and others that stated it was all a scam...I thought it was too!

I am a sucker and was so excited about the free trip because I like alot of people never win anything. I went to the meeting last year and it was awful! The guy kepts us there for 8 hours saying the same thing and my fiancee and I left fuming. The whole group we were with were so pissed about this meeting to sell us cookware and waste our time. I just got the call again this year and if they call again they will be getting a piece of my mind.

Thank you for posting these great warning comments! I got a call from this so called company last night!!! Some girl named Kathy said that I won some bridal drawing and they could only hold my prize for a few days. The funny thing is, I don't remember applying for a national drawing. I believe they got my number from David's bridal (who said that they don't sell your info by the way)I called (631) 271-2025, but the line just rang and rang. I'm glad that I found out that this was a scam before I got my hopes up. It's really sad that companies such as these play on a person's emotions. Who wouldn't want a free trip or bridal package. They should be ashamed!

I have also recieved multiple calls from this company 21st Century RP Brides.  Regarding a national bridal drawing. The one that left a message was to contact Rachel 631-271-2025 Ext 2325 I believe this to be a scam as she said that we had won a bridal package and a trip but could only hold for a limited amount of time.
Earlier today I also recieved a call from Gateway Bride 800-586-1123 regarding a bridal package we had also won.  She knew who I was, but asked if we were over 18.  I spoke to this women on the phone and she wanted me and my fiance to meet at a nearby location at 7pm on a Friday evening to claim this prize.  I told her we were not available that time and why and she simply said "Oh I'm sorry that won't work then, Goodbye"
I believe this is also a scam for a company to get us out to buy into some sort of time share or something.  

I also purchased a dress at Davids Bridal, I have been to a couple Bridal Expo's and am signed up on the internet page TheKnot.com, so for me this information could be sold by several companies. If you do know who is responsible, please let me know!

I am also glad I found this site. I recieved A call from Susan stating the exact same thing. When I returned the call I spoke to Melissa, hung up and called back there was no Melissa. They should not waste people time with this B.S. What they are really doing is wasting gas and time. It seemed to good to be true, but they state you do not have to purchase anything to receive the gifts. They also will cook dinner for us yeah right.

It is incredibly sad in today's economy that women must resort to ripping off other women in order to pay the bills (i.e. getting their nails done)....received two v-mail messages TODAY from 631-470-3626 (wasting my peak minutes, ha ha) regarding the exciting package I had won and how they were only in town this weekend and to call right away. I didn't even bother- Remember ladies, NEVER give out your credit card information, NOTHING is ever truly free, EVERYONE wants something.  Good luck in all your wedding endeavors ;-D

I received a call but ignored it as I didn't recognize the number.  They didn't leave amessage so I had no idea what it was.  My friend then got the same call 5 minutes after me and sent me an email asking if I got the call.  I told her it sounded like a scam.  She then told me she googled it and saw all the horrible stories about the company.  I then read through all these comments about other brides getting called.  It sounds like a scam to me.  I am not planning on answering the phone any time they call.

PS....the comment above from the person the apparently works there....cannot spell correctly and her story doesn't even make sense.  That should tell you enough on its own!

Hello All, i just received a call from joanne for claiming my 3 prizes, $1000 GROCERY COUPONS, 3DAY 2NT TRIP + DISCOUNT% CHINA ETC.!! & was so excited because i went to a Bridal Showcase at Marriott in LI ny, NOW IM PISSED OFF TO FIND OUT THIS IS A SCAM,, I RESEACHED THE COMPANY & FOUND OUT THEY WERE FORMALLY KNOWN AS "ROYAL PRESTIAGE BRIDES" WITH COMPAINTS THAT DATE BACK TO 2000.??? THEN CHANGED THEIR NAME TO RP BRIDES! WTF??? LEAVE US BRIDES ALONE - WE HAVE ENOUGH STRESS & PRESSURE TO NOT DEAL WITH THIS CRAP!! ohhh & ps im not calling back! maybe your company needs to change its name again...

SHANA from RP Brides just called called and left me a voicemail. She said I had to call her back asap because she couldn't hold my prize.. So I called and she went on and on about how I won a 3-day, 2-night trip to any of these great places, a percentage off their merchandise, and a $1000 grocery card. I just had to pick it up the day after tomorrow in a nearby city and let the people there cook for me and if I liked the cookware, I could purchase it (she made sure to tell me that it was not required of course). I started crying on the phone because my finance and I weren't planning on having a honeymoon due to finances so you can imagine how excited I was. I called my mom crying and called my finance and called my friends. Then I got online to check it out and see what this company was and I came across this page and I am pretty pissed. I was so incredibly excited and now I am just mad. I am definitely not going to go "claim my prize" and look like a fool. I'm so angry.

Got a call from 631-271-3761 just now, i didn't catch her name, i heard 21st century and thought it was the insurance company and was ready to hang up but she mentioned that i was to receive three gifts, a 3 day 2 night hotel stay in my choice of one of dozens of locations-valid for 18 months, a $1000 grocery coupon-valid for one year once activated online, and a 20-40% discount on any of their products; which she mentioned included housewares and china.  I stopped her in the middle of it and asked "this is mine already?" wondering if it was a scam.  she said yes, the gifts were mine already and i didn't need to buy anything. my fiance and i just had to pick it up, and it was not a bridal show, but they would keep my fiance and i for about 90 minutes to do some demonstrations and show us their product-which we were are not obligated to buy and they explain our gifts in further detail while we're there.  She said we could go tomorrow or friday night--we both work so she said they come to town every 3-6 weeks and that we could attend and get our gifts then and that she would call back to tell me when and where.  I got excited at first and called my mom but i started researching immediately and have found nothing but bad things written about these calls.  I don't think i'll be answering the phone when she calls back, i found two good postings among a hundred bad ones regarding this "scam" so i figure i'll take the advice of the hundred and not go.

This makes me really mad. Why do people get so bored and need money so bad that they would scam people from this. I dont remember the name of the woman but she sounded like she knew what she was talking about. Me being the nosey person I am, I ofcourse has alot of questions. Both women that I talked to stuttered alot when I asked them questions. I have fun catching people off guard but this made me very upset. My fiance', The smart man that he is knew that it was to good to be true but ofcourse I wanted to go. Things like this dont happen in my life and I was hoping finally maybe somebody cut me a break. But I guess not. Two numbers called me 16312713761 and 16314707338. Both women sounded very friendly about it all. Anyways I didnt go to the show cause I didnt wanna waste my time with those stupid people. They should be ashamed of themselves. Why even waste money putting those shows together when people dont even show up. Morons.

i was just called and told all the same things and that i would have to drive like an hour out of my way to pick this up and go to a seminar with my fiance. i am so glad i found this website. i am always weary of this stuff however she did know i went to this particular bridal expo so i will admit i did believe it at first. i also filled out my info for Davids Bridal and made an appointment, which i am now going to cancel because they gave out my info. the girl i talked to was shawney and her number was 1-631-470-5786 and 1-631-271-3758.

Today I received the same call and given the same script as the previous women.  The woman who left a message was Donna, but Alyssa read me the script.  The number I was given was 631-271-2025.
