Repeated phone calls from political call centers, no where associated with the location of the person for which they are soliciting. Maybe they call for different reasons when the election time is not coming around,

It is a politicl poll number. If you call it back a recording tells you that then hangs up.

its a political call from Sara Ancker. I finally got someone by calling back to express my displeasure. I also sent an email to her website. STOP CALLING!

On the fifth call in less than 24 hours, I finally decided to answer and actually got a live person.
It was a political call, asking if I would support Sarah Anker for Suffolk County Legislator. At least now I feel more at ease knowing who is on the other end of the phone!

I have gotten many calls from this number, sometimes several times a day. When I answer there is no one there, or sometimes just a dial tone.

My caller ID showed this number called me at 3:15pm, 5:20pm and 6:04pm today. I didn't answer and they left no message (big surprise!).
Every day it's one number or another with these scammers! I'm really tired of it but Verizon has no call blocking feature. It's one thing to not answer the phone unless I know who is calling, but another thing to have to run in the house from outside when I hear the phone ringing, because it may be someone I actually DO want to talk to!
