it should NEVER come to the point where you think you know who, what, or where someone is in there life. there are many how use drugs  that only hurt them selves. and then there are those that are "helping" that hurt a lot more. more righteous people find ways to hurt people then anyone else! why is this? is it your right to hurt people, whether with  word or actions?

That was extremely rude! Just because they are scam artist does not mean they are drug addict. Drug addicts are not all bad people. Bad people most of the time are just like you. Seem normal until they open their mouths. I'm in recovery, thank you for the judgement.

I received a call on my cellphone from NY at 8:18 this morning. Calling about my credit card. I do not HAVE a credit card so.....

yeah that number called my cell, (phone - off LIMITS)

whoever this is called my cell today ... I said hello & then heard their robot talk about an "issue with my credit card", so I just hung up.  Nothing to add but I am posting this comment so the FTC or whoever cares can add another one to the count ... everybody have a great week !

they just called me at 3:18 pm in Pennsylvania, and i know for a fact that it has to be a scam because I never owned a credit card in my life, so why would you be asking me to lower my interest rates on a nonexistent card?

If someone doesn't know me personally I don't invite nor want anyone else bothering me or my family with these scam or sales calls. It's a complete waste of time to answer the call, as well as the time it takes to put in on my blocked call list. Now they resort to calling from cell phones so caller id shows up as a cell phone. Anyone who is making these calls should be locked up for being a public nuisance. This practice has gotten totally out of control and people need to be prosecuted, maybe they will get the message! This applies to ANY item on the "Call Type" menu.

Called during class and got me in trouble. Thanks Obama. (No but seriously I didn't sign up for anything and I don't even have a credit card)... tried calling back and all I got was a busy signal.

I signed up for a Walking Challenge through our Healthcare provider Cigna and received this phone call the next day, so you may be on to something (they are selling our numbers?). The recording stated that there is nothing wrong with my current credit card accounts, it is only that they want offer a lower interest rate of 6.24 percent, and the offer ends today (the only card I have right now is 6.24 percent, so I am not sure how they are going to match that one!).

I gave exactly same experiance. It looks like fishing.

You are welcome! I post the facts about the types of creatures the "card services" scammers are in an attempt to warn people as to whom they are speaking with when they answer the phone. When people's homes and businesses are invaded by these degenerates they deserve to know, for their own protection, that the callers are NOT good people. People that do not believe my accusations need to study, and read about this subject further--substantiating print material , from recognized sources, is not difficult to find. People that dispute my claims, without full knowledge of the subject, need to become more informed before making negative comments. It is to be noted that neither of the earlier attackers responded to my offer to divulge my sources!

Well, I have work provided health insurance, so I did not sign up for insurance lately. So that's not it.

I answered and it was a recoded message about "lowering the interest rate on my credit card to as low as 6%" but no identifying info as to what credit card company or banking institution. I hung up.

Yet another troll that cannot backup what they post.

Received what is obviously a scamming call from 631-582-8257. Hung up when questioned. Has happened before at least 200 times with other phones of mine.
