they asked for a mrs or mister. I am neither. That was a clue that it was probably a sales call.

We have received several calls from 631-661-1192, with caller ID John Nuski. Never any voice mail. When I typed this name/number into Who Called Us data base, the information I got back said that this John Nuski also uses 631-661-0937. I live in southwestern CT and there have been numerous reports in local papers about chimney repair/cleaning scams, including several arrests.

Call came through...some man telling me his records indicated that our boiler chimney needed cleaning, or something along those lines.  Sounded fishy, so i told him he needed to speak with my husband who could not get to the phone at that moment.  He asked when a good time would be to call back.  I asked him for his name/number and said i'd have my husband call him and he hung up.  He tried calling back again but hung up when i answered the phone.

Caller ID comes up with the name John, Nuski a name we are not familiar with. And he leaves no message.
