hey security bureau guy.....you have investigators working for ya??? you know under the FDCPA false or misleading representation is a crime? and from the way it sounds you are a third party agency so those laws strictly govern you.

I got a call from these putts asking the nature of my company and then asked what services we perform. after they were answered they hung up. Just so happens I OWN A COLLECTION AGENCY.

You're silly to put your cell phone number here on the internet for everyone - but the number 631-683-6000 is from Bank of America Merchant Services....

This is the security bureau of First Data Merchant Services. First Data is a company that processes credit card transactions for businesses. They will call cardholders and verify if they received goods, or placed an order when they feel that a merchant is a scammer. Nothing to be afraid of here with them, but do call them back, do not talk to them when they call you as it is too easy to spoof a caller id. Their callback number should be 631-683-xxxx with the last four being the extension of the investigator.

First Data Merchant services?

I as well got a call from this number and asked about my recent visa purchase and they even knew where I made the purchase. I called them back @6316837554 and am awaiting a return call

they called me, and asked if i made a purchase form my visa, and wondered id=f i recieved it yet? odd? im affraid for my account now, beware

they , it , he , she , just called said nothing called back and left no message... i wonder if they read these ...

Called 4 times and did not leave a message

I too got an unwanted call from this number and they did not leave a message.

They called a place of business. When I answered and said who I was they hung up without saying anything. I heard them move around and when I was done talking, I heard the *click*. I wonder if they were just checking to see if this number was active.

I received on my cell phone (507)269-3357 this unwanted phone call from an advertising (propaganda) company.  Thi sis my cell number and I do NOT want any of these trashy calls.
