631-729-7056 called. Would not answer my simple request as to who they were, and why they were calling. They hung up. Blocked thanks to the amazing features of my phone service. Phishing for information on residents, and automobiles.

Hi, MPower kept calling me for 2 month saying that they represent my coned bill, then later on I finally decided to talk to them cause they didnt stop calling even though I clearly said not interested. So when i switched to this company they took over both of my bills Electricity and gas. I have got my bill for gas for $437.44 and when i contacted my company they said they would have charged me $97,54 less then this Mpower. Was trying to get my money back, no results whatsoever. NEVER EVER SWITCH to thisMPOWER its nothing as robbery, they promise you to save and actually charges you more.

I said to them firstly, I live out of the Coned territory and secondly I work for Coned (which I did) who is calling? All I head after that was someone mumbling in the back ground then they said sorry and hanged up . Hopefully they would not call again. Although the phone call shows as being a local number it could be an internet phone call like Magic Jack. They can call from any part of the world and make it appear as if they were calling local. It appears to be a scam. Don't give them any information and more importantly money or account information. As for the previous statement made about statue of limitation yes, they do exist and each state may be different. I have been told that in NYS is seven years.

This number is annoying.  I never answer it.  There's a pattern that they use almost everyday; Mon-Fri the first call is  between 11:30-12:30 and the evening call is normally between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m.

By reading all these messages I found out that I am dealing with a electric company. I live in the NYCHA project. I do not pay electric bill. I have been in the project since 1972. So why are they calling me?

I received a call from these people but did not answer. Maybe next time I will tell them I don't know the home owner since I broke into the house to rob the place.

They keep calling us every day and sometimes twice a day although we are in the don't call list.

They try to represent themselves as Con Edison Or National Grid company to "save" money.

I've gotten and reported quite a few unwanted calls, and my telephone number is not listed, but, because today's ended in a double zero, I responded and was asked if I was the one who handled my Con Ed electricity bills.  

I responded as soon as I recognized the scam: "Yes, and I am recording the present conversation with 6317298500 to be turned over to the NY State Attorney General.  You are a terrorist purporting to be from New York State.  We're out to get you! You and your entire gang!"

This I don't particularly recommend doing to others.  But in 1944-1945 when I was a chief clerk in Supreme Headquarters (Reims, France), we didn't have time to play.

my caller id said Americas VSNL....when I answered, it sounded like a bar then they hung up. when i called back, the call never connected. i am so sick of this. i currently have about 12 numbers blocked from my phone as it is.

Caller tried to back door me into changing electric provider from Con Ed to Empower for a discount. I asked to speak to his manager and he hung up on me.

Fvckers are harrassing us constantly. Like everyone else commented, they will not stop calling us. I scream abuse at them now but they just keep calling. We might have to change our phone number because they wake our baby up with their calls - these guys and those fvcking A**les trying to refinance credit card debt. I hope son they harrass the wrong person and push them over the edge and they go postal on these home invading motherfvckers. I hate them. just another scam but I find it funny how they use the same number for different scams. Some people get "debt collectors" and others get energy scams.

This company keep calling me even though my number is on the National Do Not Call list. I've asked them repeatedly over the last 4 months to stop calling me and yet they keep calling me anyway. Now they call and hang up everyday at the same time

This number is a SCAM. Do not give them any of your information. The worst part is that they will not stop calling you no matter what you say. I have been trying to find a way to block them and haven't had any luck.

and yet another energy scammer calling. Most ltely have been from 347-502-25xx, so I mistakenly answered this one. Guy with very heavy accent (India). I hung up. Will report to DNS as I always do, even though I doubt they do anything about it, it makes me feel better.
